I booked online through their best rate guarantee, I arrive at the hotel to be told they sold my room and i have to pay double to stay and could be refunded later. A month goes by I cant get a return call from any managers or district manager. When I finally do the manager is screaming at me on the phone and then tells me he would not issue any refund and hangs up the phone. The rooms were dirty, the ** did not work, beds are itchy and uncomfortable. I highly highly would look into any other hotel. This company is very poorly ran, terrible customer service and nothing is guaranteed except a bad experience.Extended Stay America

My husband and I are staying at the *** located ********************************* ***** **. *****. We have been staying there about 21/2 years . The manager **** has utter disregard for accountability regarding constant smoking of weed and cigarettes in rooms . The sheer arrogance of the other guests with their smoking is outrageous ! There is no penalty charged , and that emboldens the guest to keep smoking . The front desk closes at 11pm until 7am . The smokers just smoke away , no one to contact ! The unprofessional manager seems to tolerated the breaking of *** policies and the laws of the state of ** regarding no smoking inside the building . *** deceptive advertising offering smoke free rooms is a huge problem !Extended Stay America

They ****************** People!!!!I recently stayed in the Extended Stay America in ******* **********. I am a travel nurse so I look for good deals and hotels with kitchenettes. I understand that Extended Stay is a budget hotel. However, there still should be some decent accommodations for $140/night (thats with a 40% discount they emailed to me). I want to file a formal complaint against this hotel as I keep getting the round around from staff. My 3rd day there I was attacked by bed bugs. I was switched to another room which was OK for a while. But then I started getting bitten by something else (not bed bugs). In addition, the hallway by my new room smelled like urine for 5 day to which they just placed an air freshener in the hallway. The elevator (the one that was working) was filthy as people were spitting in the corner of it. The phlegm was there for days as well and was still there when I checked out. I decided I could not take it anymore and decided to leave a day early. I had been there for twenty days. I was not given credit for for the day I left early. Also I was charged an additional day for leaving early. This is unfair. The hotel was not as described. People shouldn't have to live in these conditions and then be charged because they want to leave early. I am requesting a refund for the extra day charged touched and a credit for the day that I left early.Extended Stay America

Very nasty and not clean at all. All of the front desk employees were very very rude. There was stuff left in microwave and hairs on the sheets. Bathtub was not clean and neither were the floors.I was told they came in once a month to clean and it wasnt a requirement to clean after guests checked out. Will never stay there again.Extended Stay America

Their billing practices are the worst Ive ever experienced. I checked in 1/29 and was scheduled to check out 3/23 but Im actually checking out on 3/22. I made the front desk aware this on 3/17; was never even told about a rate adjustment; Im being charged $567.00 for a four night stay AND supposed to have had military discount applied. Supposedly a rate change because Im checking out a day early.Do your self a favor and dont even use this hotel; youll never know what youre paying until it shows up on your credit card. HIGHWAY ROBBERY and IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!Extended Stay America

Worst place ever . Booked the room through Priceline 2 weeks in advance only to be told by the manager that he didnt make any money off Priceline and that he didnt have a room to accommodate 3 guests which was clearly noted in the reservation. He was rude and basically said he did not care about the online customers and that he caters to his street customers. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures its run down and ran by a staff not helpful at all. You can clearly tell they are used to dealing with complaints, with a complete dgaf attitude.Extended Stay America

Less than one star hotel with poor maintenance mult severe safety issues. False advertising on website rates changes higher than quoted. No breakfast as advertised exposed electrical wires broken cracked tubs that could cut p*** still on commode lids very dirty with body secretions very drug use environment maujuana smoke throughout halls fire alarms going off all the time do they turned it offExtended Stay America

Tear it down and start again. The first room I got was on the first floor and there was water all over the bathroom floor. I went immediately to the lobby and complained. They gave me a room upstairs. My reservation was completely changed from two beds to one. I had to sleep or attempt to on a pull out chair. I had to wipe it down incessantly. The photos on the website are no where near. It's all false advertisement. When my son and I attempted to leave, we noticed the door wouldn't lock on its own. Basically the door could be opened without a key card. Complaining at ********* once again and treated like I was talking out of my hand. The employee by name of ******* seemed so utterly clueless and said he would let his manager know. Today I went to reaffirm my complaint about the door and the girl at the front desk decided it was a great time to exercise her right to attitude, which showed more effort than her doing her job, complaining to whoever it was on the phone when she went to look for a roll out bed. I clearly heard her yelling on the phone in the parking lot. Unprofessional and bad reflection of your hotel, which I won't be staying in ever again nor will I recommend to anyone. The maintenance guy came by on the third day and pretended to fix the door. He simply removed the metal cover, fiddled with the lock and put it back. You can still open the door with a key card. A *****, the toilet doesn't flush, the sink fills up and the shower k*** is broken. I paid so much for c*** and attitude and hearing my son say he would have preferred to sleep in the car, that says a lot.Extended Stay America
