    Terrible service for business. I switched over to Brightspeed on June 13 and had phone service for one and half days (only because the repair forward the phone to my cell) before they disconnected the number. No internet services at all. I have been unable to resolve this and after filing *** complaint still not resolved. We are a mental health clinic in a rural area and have not been able to provide services to our clients since this time. I have been on the phone for hours but no resolution and no one cares. 18 days and counting. I have been unable to port my number back to Mediacom because Brightspeed finds a reason to not do so. We are at 18 days so far and after 20 years with this number they are not allowing me get my number back. Do not use them for services is my recommendation or you will be sorry. I'm sorry I ever heard their name. They deserve no stars.

    After setting up a payment arrangement for three equal payments, and making the epic mistake of giving them permission to auto-withdraw the funds from my account, not only have they have taken 4 payments for the same amount. They claimed I did not make one of the payments when I had proof from my bank that I did. Then, they tried to take a fifth payment. I was able to lock down my debit card and block that fifth one. Forty five minutes on the phone with someone who barely understood english, was clearly reading from a script, and became very condescending with me when I did the math for them, proving all payments had been made. This company has zero clue what they are doing and will not hesitate to rip you off financially.

    I am a customer for many years from sprint until now. My service has been out since April. Many repair reports and dates for repair.. no technician ever comes and no service until this date. When calling in to customer service if you can get thru over a hour wait and the closest repair date is 30 or so days away. When the date comes no technician comes. Spoke to a supervisor name *** he was not able to get me any help. He gave me one month credit for the time out of service for April. I rate their service zero.

    They offered an upgrade for 59 dollars a month with a free month of service. The old account was in my wife's name and they were supposed to close the account. They didn't so we didn't get our free month and then they shut off our internet and had to have a tech back to turn it back on. I called again and they said I didn't sign up for 59 a month internet because it was a third party who came to my door for an upgrade. They sure get my money and the guy I talked to started talking over me and wondered why I got ****** off. This company is a pack of liars and wish I could give them 0 stars.

    The door knockers they send around have horrible customer service and should be trained better. The same guy knocked on my door 3 different times in the same day (watching when different cars was in the driveway) and we kept ignoring him. Finally after the 3rd one at 8pm we opened the door and said not interested and closed it. Then our camera caught him flipping us off.

    This is the worst company I have had to deal with and I am work with US government entities ******** the past 2 months, I have made 9 calls to have my home account suspended being I am on travel. I was told it was solidified, however I receive a bill for two full months. The fee is $9.99 per months for up to 9 months, while I am away. The **** are hard to understand, one cannot reach a manager in the ***, **** hang up if they don't understand question. Out of the 9 times I have contacted them for my issue, I have had 4 hangups, 3 who didn't know about the "pause internet" process and 2 who placed me on hold indefinitely. I was on hold for 45 min and the other was 1.25 hours. This, as a business in the *** is UNACCEPTABLE! This company needs investigated and closed down.

    I don't have the words to explain how bad things have gotten with Brightspeed. We are unable to view our bills online (we always receive an error message and have for many months), so I finally canceled paperless billing in May. I never received a June bill online or in the mail, so I missed my payment and was charged a $40 late fee. The only way I knew this was because I received an email saying we owed $137.49 and we had two days to respond. When I called, I got an incredibly convoluted explanation about a credit, a late fee, etc.. that made absolutely no sense (it was a call that lasted more than 60 minutes). We went through a very similar situation with Brightspeed in May. The biggest issue here is that I have NO way to actually view my bill to see what is going on. And how do I even pay a bill when I never received it? How is this even legal? If I had another option, I would drop Brightspeed immediately.

    Just got off the phone with customer servicer after having a major banking issue that was not my fault and was told that I could not set up a payment arrangement for my account because it was fiber account. After being transferred to a manager I was told that I should borrow the money from friends or family. Their customer service is garbage. They will be lucky if I don't go back to *******.
