The door knockers they send around have horrible customer service and should be trained better. The same guy knocked on my door 3 different times in the same day (watching when different cars was in the driveway) and we kept ignoring him. Finally after the 3rd one at 8pm we opened the door and said not interested and closed it. Then our camera caught him flipping us off.

This is the worst company I have had to deal with and I am work with US government entities ******** the past 2 months, I have made 9 calls to have my home account suspended being I am on travel. I was told it was solidified, however I receive a bill for two full months. The fee is $9.99 per months for up to 9 months, while I am away. The **** are hard to understand, one cannot reach a manager in the ***, **** hang up if they don't understand question. Out of the 9 times I have contacted them for my issue, I have had 4 hangups, 3 who didn't know about the "pause internet" process and 2 who placed me on hold indefinitely. I was on hold for 45 min and the other was 1.25 hours. This, as a business in the *** is UNACCEPTABLE! This company needs investigated and closed down.

I don't have the words to explain how bad things have gotten with Brightspeed. We are unable to view our bills online (we always receive an error message and have for many months), so I finally canceled paperless billing in May. I never received a June bill online or in the mail, so I missed my payment and was charged a $40 late fee. The only way I knew this was because I received an email saying we owed $137.49 and we had two days to respond. When I called, I got an incredibly convoluted explanation about a credit, a late fee, etc.. that made absolutely no sense (it was a call that lasted more than 60 minutes). We went through a very similar situation with Brightspeed in May. The biggest issue here is that I have NO way to actually view my bill to see what is going on. And how do I even pay a bill when I never received it? How is this even legal? If I had another option, I would drop Brightspeed immediately.

Just got off the phone with customer servicer after having a major banking issue that was not my fault and was told that I could not set up a payment arrangement for my account because it was fiber account. After being transferred to a manager I was told that I should borrow the money from friends or family. Their customer service is garbage. They will be lucky if I don't go back to *******.

June 19th 2025 I have fiber internet through bright speed It just stopped working and when you contact the 800 number for Bright speed it's a busy signal We all have the right to the utility of communication and it can be very unsettling when you have no internet in your home or way to communicate or receive information if you're lucky enough to have a backup mobile data and then you call the 800 number for the company and it is busy either they've been hacked either way it's somebody needs to tell somebody something

Been over a week without internet. Had a scheduled appointment for a technician to show up, he didn't even bother showing up at all. And the repair ticket miraculously vanished off the site. I have pictures however to prove it was there. Currently sitting on hold for 1 hour 10 mins waiting to get ahold of someone to tell me why my technician didn't show up. I am so tired of this company.

******** customer service.. very slow internet for rural areas. Promises fiber but have no clear window to when it is coming. Just lays lines across roads and yards with no clear time frame when it will be buried. Their customer service reprenatives are mostly foreign people with horrible English accents and kids in the background loud as s*** Just a horrible experience go with star link its a little more pricey but less headache

Brightspeed and **************************** have NO SHAME. With the uncertainty of the economy, job losses (no thanks to DOGE, funding cuts, deportations, etc) rising cost, the possibility of losing healthcare coverage, nutritional benefits, etc, etc. These two entities want to further disrupt/depress the fragile mental and emotional state of people by adding collection to their credit reports for amounts (in my case) less than $69.99. People with deep millionaire/billionaire pockets can avoid taxes, committ tax fraud, and nothing is done or they get away with it BUT let average working class folk owe $69.99 OR less and all H*** is unleashed. Brightspeed wants to dish out $50 or more to existing customers for referrals SO why not use that money to cover the amount owed instead of further destroying peoples credit scores over $69.99 or less. ??. No SHAME ??. This has no bearing on *********** service which I am well pleased with so far ?? (4stars).

Worst ever customer service. Making appointments for 1 day and then changing it. For weeks out. They put the lines back up after being ripped down by a truck, but never hooked any of the Internet lines back for their customers. Only half passing the job as usual and making customers wait for weeks for any service at all. They should have done the job right and are now making their customers wait for weeks on end, that will probably not transpire at all.
