    The WORST company ever? ***************** Forget about it! Outages? Standard! Prices? **** **** couldnt afford them! Contact info? Try Star Trek! Internet speed? Dial up was faster! Try and contact corporate? Maybe if you move to ****! All in all; Nothing pisitive to be said aboutvthis company at all!

    Worst internet company of all time. Ever since they bought out Century Link there have been at least ************************* more days. They are extremely incompetent and have no reason to be a business.

    We were with *********** then Brightspeed took over. It has been the worst experience. We lose Internet connection at least once the three times a month sometimes for a day sometimes for three days we always lose around holidays. You do not get notified. You have to call and jump through hoops to find out, the Internet is down. They act like you dont pay your bill then once they verify the internets down they tell you oh will credit your account because youve been without your Internet for 2-3days and never once have they Credited our account. when we call and ask were told oh it can take 2 to 3 months before your credit shows up 2 to 3 months later were told we dont have anything on here that shows it. They expect their bill to be paid on time yet they cannot follow through with anything they say, and their service is unreliable, and as soon as the other **************** gets set up in our area, they will lose a majority of our town. Worst experience weve had in 17 years.

    Remember this message: RUN from any area that requires you to use Brightspeed. I have never written a review for a company before. They experience outages every other week. If you depend on the internet from home on a daily basis, you should avoid Brightspeed at all costs. It would be better if they shut down and transferred their customers to a company that can actually provide reliable internet service. How in the world do they have an A+ on BBB. Come on BBB.

    The worse! I am going on 2 weeks of no phone or internet. They make an appointment for a repairman, say someone over 18 absolutely has to be there then they dont show up. No call saying they cant make it or anything. NEVER take off work for themthey will leave u hanging.. now they tell me they have to have an outside contractor come in but cant give me a date, time, or any information to contact this contractor.

    Definitely not worth the cost. The internet is down more than it is up. Living in a **** area doesn't help matters. Horrible customer service, they don't ever have a department that you can actually get info from that is accurate. When the service is down they won't tell you why and won't send anyone to fix it. Don't use brightspeed. They are a terrible company.

    I have been without internet service from Brightspeed since 8/28, they sent a service technician to my house on 8/30! He was unable to fix the problem! Stating it was a service outage on the pole at the road and that they would have to send a "bucket truck" to make repairs! As of 9/3 still not fixed and they scheduled a technician to come back to my house on 9/5 to repair my internet! But the problem isn't in my house! Their service **** that I call, is in the *********** and I believe there is a language barrier preventing them from understanding the problem/ situation?Brightspeed has the worst **************** I've ever experienced period!

    Just got off one of the worst customer service calls I have ever been on. Internet modem crapoed out yesterday. I unplugged it twice and plugged it back in. Nothing. Called customer service today. Took 3 minutes just to get a person on the phone. Finally got **** on the line. **** wanted me to troubleshoot by unplugging it. I informed him I already tried this but did it anyhow. Then **** needed to schedule dispatch. I was on the phone for 1 hour 9 minutes, and the only thing accomplished was unplugging the modem, getting me a technician scheduled from 8am-12pm three days from now, and listening to what sounded like ***** family reunion going on in the background. I cant wait to see if they actually show up.

    Absolute horrendous company to have service with. The service itself was horrible but the customer service is even worse. We have been promised money back after closing our account and have not received it. They literally have given us the run around. Multiple employees stating we were getting a refund and the supervisor stating we arent.

    I was a century link customer for internet For years and now this Brightspeed shows up out of nowhere and for months didnt know the company had even changed. BRIGHTSPEED is taking payments every month for 2 modems although only one has ever worked. I call and call but all they do is set up appointments but I have never seen anyone show up but they say they were there. Poor poor business. This is happening for 3 years now or longer. Now that I have put in $3,000 worth of security cameras I need internet to help watch over my disabled husband who still wants to feel independent. IT IS A MUST to have security cameras for the safety of my husband and property!!!! This is theft charging me for service. When you call the company they give you the run around or schedule fake appointments!!! Run! Dont get service with this place! Yes, Im in the process of getting a new provider! BRIGHTSPEED *****
