    I have been without service for 2 days with no explanation and lied to about when my service would be restored. Its nearly impossible to talk to a human and when I asked the chat who to contact to disconnect my service it of course ended our chat.

    I WISH I COULD LEAVE NO STARS!!!!I had terrible service 4 months ago with CenturyLink they offered me a $50 credit, then I was told they changed to Quantum Fiber and I wasnt credited the next month. So I called them and I was told I would be credited the next month, guess what? They changed to Brightspeed And I wasnt credited that month So I called Brightspeed and told them I was supposed to receive a $50 credit, guess was, next bill came and no credit!!! I call in 3 days ago before my bill is due to confirm my $50 credit and they said it would be credited GUESS WHAT!?! NO $50 CREDIT ON MY BILL YET AGAIN!!!! Oh and get this, my $70 bill came out yesterday and these scammers charged my card another $70 today!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! There customer service is nonexistent and is of ZERO HELP!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR INTERNET!!!!!!

    We have had Centurylink for 13 years and had some minor issues but since Brightspeed took over last week I have been out of service twice and now since Saturday morning. No technichians on the weekend to help and wasted 3 hours yesterday trying to get through, when I finally did we got cut off and they didn't call back. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, Something needs to be done about this company, I have not seen one positive comment on any thread. In my opinion they are ripping off people, taking money and not providing the service. When you are limited with internet carriers you are left with providers like this.

    CenturyLink or Brightspeed the service is poor, slow, and honestly overpriced for what you receive. I have been a customer for three years and constantly have had problems with my service. From having them come change the lines one of which was out in the middle of a field which then got broke by the farming equipment of whoever operates the field behind my property, the technicians didn't know why there was a line out there to begin with. Now my service with a brand new modem and wires is slower than ever! Sometimes it connects or not at all slow is just the start of it. having my new computer wired in and performing slow and at times not even connecting only to be told to upgrade our service or reduce what we have connected to wifi , but they only offer one speed 30 mbps for $50 which after wire protection and modem fee and taxes comes to ***** just to have slow service that I constantly have to have it worked on. Being the only internet provider in my area I have no option but to deal with it or I guess find a place to move to

    They are a big joke.. ***************** Stayed on the chat with them for over an hour just for them to tell me I would have to call them back another time ( not to mention where I live is very rural and cell service is not always great ) . Second time I called ( chatted) , I told them not to try and transfer me.. they still tried.. Our internet cuts out at 7 p.m. every night since they took over centurylink customers . But I am sure they will still try to charge me for full service . Will be switching service soon .

    Brightspeed Business practices need to be investigated by state. I set up to have the install done on October 19th when I returned from an out of state trip They sent someone to come to my home the day before when no one was home. I texted with the Company on the 19th as I did not have the modem required to have service. This escallated over the next several day with promises that the modem was being shipped. I was told I would be notified of shipment within 24 to 48 hrs. 96 hours later called **************** again and was told the modem was out for delivery. Recieved the modem late Monday Oct 25. I tried to connect the Modem following their directions but it would not work. Called Brightspeed customer service again and they would send a technician out in two days. Technician arrived mid afternoon the next day and after reconfiguring the phone line I finally had connection. After connection tried to connect my devices to the internet and found the system would kick me off the network almost hourly. After 5 days if struggling with their system I finally got frustrated and told Brightspeed **************** to take their equipment back. They informed me that I would have to pay for the month of service beginning on the 19th of October only having a part time working system. On top of that they want to charge $200 for early termination. I did not sign any contract that I'm aware of and was told by the sales person from Century Link that this was a month to month service and I could cancel at any time. I think if you look at ******** comments you will find that this company has been deceiving people across the state.

    Absolutely terrible service and customer support. The *** has had service disruptions for a week before it went out completely 5 days ago. When you use their diagnostics online tool it claims there is an outage in the area. When you speak to someone at customer service they claim there is no problems on their end. Also, don't attempt to contact customer support on the weekend, they don't answer calls on the weekend.....

    Wish I could give them a lower rating!!! I've been without a landline and internet since Oct 13th and no one can tell me why! I get the run around everyday when I call, yes I said every day! They an appointment for a tech to come out and never shows or calls at the end of the day to say it will be the next day. So sick of them

    This company is so incompetent!!!We had *** with Century Link which was slow but at least it worked.Brightspeed acquired Century Link and our account and we have had nothing but problems. First, they cut our *** line installing fiber cables.Second, we were without *** for 14 days and to date have not received the refund we were promised for lack of service.Third, when the technician came to reconnect the *** he told us he could see fiber lines had been installed and to contact Brightspeed and tell them our house was ready for service.Fourth, when I called Brightspeed they tell me our house is not ready. After 4 hours and 8 phone calls or chats I am still no closer to resolving the issue.Fifth, mailed a letter to the *** in ********* and after 10 days no response whatsoever. Service has been spotty at best since Brightspeed took over. I have neighbors on my street who do have fiber and several of us who do not have fiber while we can physically see the fiber lines sticking out of the ground we continue to be told fiber is not yet available to us.THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.

    They r lier's and thieves! To put it nicely! I've been with them 4 days and they are the most awful internet company yet! I know they are new, but don't put this big bold statement out there on how you are going to change the world of internet speed and it's reliability when you can't hire reliable customer service representative's. When the poob hit the fan today they sent me back to century link to file a compliment. Really? You officially took over century link on November 3rd, if you have customer service representative's then why don't you have a place to file a compliment or leave a comment? Oh cause you stink that's why!!! I also caught them taking a non-per authorized payment off my debit card and the payment wasn't even due yet. I consider that stealing! So bright speed I don't see your funding company Apollo global standing behind you very long if you conduct business this way and if they do then they are thieves and lier's to. And for those who may not know it, they charge a 18$ late fee in the state of Missouri. Not even the gas or light companies charge that much! Come on brightspeed! I'm already looking into another company but not much to choose from in this small town. No stars for brightspeed!!
