    The only provider available in my area! We had ordered the 10 thinking it was available (was also told it was available by several representatives). That was a lie. I waited around all day for the technician to come and install just for him to never show. I called and was told they canceled that order because it was not available in our area, so why was I not called or informed after waiting all day?? About a month after that my fianc and I woke up to no internet. Our service was experiencing a glitch on there end! Once again I was not informed before they completely shut off our internet. The bill had been payed and everything! So of course I called and talked to 6-7 representatives that had no idea what happened. Some said that we canceled it others said nothing was wrong and just a load of crap! They have no idea what they are even talking about half the time. Its going on day 4 of no connection. I was on the phone for over an hour of being transferred from representative to representative. Just to be put on hold at 6:55 PM. By 7:00 PM I was disconnected (closing time). This service is horrible. I expect a full refund for this month and hopefully Wi-Fi. If I didnt live in such a rural area I would most definitely be using a different provider. If I dont get any answers as to why my modem was turned off I will be showing up at Charlottes corporate office!! S**** this Brightspeed BS! Give me my internet back!!!!

    Horrible service all the way around!!! I was a CenturyLink customer and in my rural area it is the only service provider I rarely had any issues for 10 years now with the switch to Brightspeed i suddenly have no service and my bills are never right I have been on calls and in chats with their "agents" and I finally have a date (2 weeks supposedly) that a tech is coming out which I will believe when I see it since at the end of a few of my calls they claimed to have it working and it did but it only worked for 5 min. then went back out it makes no sense it seems like they are just s******* with people because they can and on my last call I just asked if there was any way for an earlier date for a tech to come out and I asked if I would be billed accordingly during this time and I was told NO and that I will be billed for the full month very rudely you would think with just taking over you would want to please customers to keep them but obviously they don't know what they are doing

    I called today in reference to my card being charged twice on 11-9-2022 The first man I spoke to did not verify my information he told me from the beginning "that in order to give me my refund they needed me to call the bank and give him the transaction number'. I read off to him via my bank statement, and the reference number from my online portal where the payment was made and for the amount. He then tells me "The have had a glitch in their systems since taking over Quantum Fiber Internet so it was showing where some customers had not made a payment and that they had not received all the information from Quantum Fiber". I told him that is not my problem nor my fault, your system is not showing the payment, but my bank statement is. He then proceeds to have an attitude. We went back and forth for a while and he did not like how I was given him the truth which is that the customers are being penalized because of a glitch in your system he then hung up on me. They have just opened a ********* ** headquarters. I called back spoke to someone else, the same run around, I then asked for the complaint department she said "they do not have one". I asked her did she know who her CEO was and she said "no". This company was founded in 2021 so they are still new, but they are the worst. I have never had any problems with my internet until they took over. They do not like to refund you, but like to offer a credit as a way of saying they do not know how to refund your money better yet give you a credit so they do not lose money. I do not know why Quantum Fiber sold out to them, but they should have did their research on this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. The employees work for a company they know nothing about let alone who they work for. This company is the worst avoid at all cost and be sure to always check your bank statements monthly, because they will double charge you, then give an excuse of system error for the problem and not refund you at all.

    Service keeps going in and out, can't reach anyone for assistance. New updated modem was suppose to be sent out overnight a few days ago, still hasn't arrived. Obviously Brightspeed doesn't care about it's customers. Never had any issues with CenturyLink. Will give it a few more days to see if anything improves, but according to all these bad reviews it's a problem on Brightspeed's end and not mine. I would suggest not to use these people if you aren't with them already

    One star is too much for Brightspeed. We had Centurylink for years and never had a moments problem! Brightspeed buys them and its been a disaster from day one. Its impossible to speak to a human and when you do they make every excuse in the world of why its YOUR problem and not theirs. First my modem was bad, so they sent me a new one. Same issues. I finally get through and they then tell me Im using too much bandwidth. We literally have no more devices running than when we had Centurylink. I call BS and he then tells me there is a problem with the line. Ya think? A technician is supposed to be here next week but all Ive seen other customers say is they dont show or tell you its YOUR problem. We hooked directly to the box outside our home and unhooked everything but one device and it still did the same thing. I have a feeling this will be our nightmare until they get sued or enough people complain and make reports. If you are lucky enough to be able to go with another provider, RUN, dont walk and sign up with someone else. Unfortunately we arent that lucky in this area.

    Absolute worst customer service ever. They barely understand English. I had an appointment for 11 Nov 2022 btwn 0800-1700 and I waited all day and no one showed up. I called 10 c and kept getting hung up on. When finally a rep told me there was an outage in my area(***** ********) and that a technician wasnt coming till the outage was resolved. Will be canceling their service immediately. I recommend everyone else do the same.

    Horrible, horrible business!! They recently took over as our internet provider, and ever since our internet is spotty at best. Speeds crash at approximately 8 pm nightly, either so slow you cannot use the service at all, or its completely out. I issued a complaint in my community board, and many other homes are experiencing the EXACT SAME ISSUE AT THE EXACT SAME TIMES. After calling a service representative, she had the nerve to tell me I was using too much of my broadband all at once: TV and Playstation. Well, after disconnecting the Playstation, we still could not stream television. They have no solutions to the problems, are not available when the issues actually occur, and will not give direct numbers to speak with anyone. They rely on a computer to get you so frustrated you give up. I am so upset that I cannot use a service I actually pay for! And yes, it would be great if I had any other option, but it is the only internet service available at my location! Satellite internet is out of reach for us financially. Oh, and don't even bother trying to get a refund for service when its out, thats a no go from them. I wish there were a zero star option, or even a negative.

    We've been out for 2 weeks now. Multiple techs have been out, none of them do anything. They just keep pushing the appointment date back so the next tech can come stand around doing nothing. Now they're telling us no technician available until November 22. So we'll have been without internet for a month! We have no other options in our rural area. I didn't think it could get any worse than CenturyLink but BrightSpeed really lowered the bar! You're lucky if you can even get a human on the phone.

    Horrible service!! My internet went out and I was told a technician was working on the problem. I was given seven different times it would be fixed! 24 hours later still no service!! I have homework to do and submit and had to miss meetings because I work from home. Very crappy, I am searching for a new internet provider asap!
