Electrolux/Frigidaire has sent several Technicians over the last three years to fix the issue. The last visit, the Technician on 5/9/2025, stated that the refrigerator was irreparable. He further stated that Electrolux/Frigidaire would be in touch. Ever since that visit, no one at the Company has notes from his visit. I called numerous times, and the Representatives can't seem to help, nor to they seem to care. I understand that they got a new system, but that is not an excuse. The last straw was when I scheduled another Technician, they wanted to charge me for a visit outside of warranty, which I have an extended warranty, purchased through Electrolux/Frigidaire, and it is not expired. I guess another of my issues with them is that every time I asked for a Manager/Supervisor, they told me none were available. I really just want them to honor what they are supposed to do.Business Response

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on June 1st of 2024. In December I noticed that the entire back wall of my freezer was completely frozen over. No drawers were able to pull out and the water had seeped into the internal components of the fridge and rusted it out at the base. A place you cannot access. Three techs have been out. The first in December. He told me the reason for the ice up was a clog in my 6 month old fridge that has never been hooked up to water. 1st tech told me at that time that rust is considered cosmetic. A few days later the ticket was closed without anyone addressing the rust pouring out the bottom of my fridge and onto my brand new flooring. I called back and a second tech came out. 2nd tech was appalled at what he was looking at. He said it was a miracle that my fridge was still running and that nothing had shorted out. He said my electrical box was sagging meaning water had gotten into it. He told me someone would contact me in 1-3 business days and no one ever contacted me. I fought to get a third tech out here and his solution was to clean the rust that he could physically get to but would not address the fact that an internal component has rusted out. He did not speak the same language I did so trying to effectively communicate the problem was met with laughing. We were literally using a translating app. I dont want to be laughed at for wanting an appliance to work the way its meant to. I do not have an issue with him not speaking my language. I have an issue with being able to properly explain what is going on and why I am dissatisfied with the help Ive received from Frigidaire which has been absolutely zero. They have opened three tickets and closed them without communicating anything to me. Im not upset I can see rust. Im upset that a brand new fridge has rusted out and no one wants to do anything to fix it. I have videos and more docs of the fridge and my interactions but cannot upload them.Business Response

Purchased a new Electrolux oven from Lowes in November of 2024 - model #GCFG3661AF. Realized after we went to bake cookies in it a few days after having it delivered and installed that the unit was defective. After preheating, the oven shuts itself off and all electronics are unresponsive. Six + months, and 5 visits from various repair companies later and we still do not have a functioning oven. To make matters worse, the unit is now leaking gas and poses a danger to our family, where previously wed be able to use the top stove burners even though the oven is not functional. Weve made repeated requests to replace the defective unit but are met with additional appointments for more opinions to come and assess. from other repair companies. Each tech guesses at whats wrong with the unit and they leave without actually fixing it. They seem to be doing anything they can to not honor the warranty and Im tired and fed up with their support line. Replace the unit or refund my money. I should also be seeking reimbursement the the amount Im of time Ive spent away from work to be present for the technician appointments.Business Response

We purchased an induction cooktop and had it installed last summer 2024. In November it started giving error codes and would shut off. We had service calls 4 times to replace control boards and user interface. It was determined by **********************'s tech support through video calls with the technician after the fourth repair attempt that the unit was not repairable and should be replaced . We have a ticket number for a replacement unit but have been told we have to now wait for a PDF from their back office team which was approved May 8th. **************** keeps telling us the back office team is backed up and we just have to wait. This whole issue has been over 6 months now and we are looking for a resolution to our problem.Business Response

We purchased a dishwasher 3 months ago that has a one year warranty. It has been going on a month that the dushwasher is unusable. We have had 3 visits from their service people and one plumber we paid to come because we were told its a plumbing issue. The plumbing has no issue and we still have no working appliance. It pours water out and this happened during the night, so our wood flooring is damaged. We are currently waiting for another service call, next week. I am rejecting this response because: the first 2 techs did not fix the dishwasher but said it was working which led to a flood that damaged our floor The third tech said it was a plumbing issue which caused us a 150 dollar bill to find out our plumbing was okay. WE WANT SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION FOR THE MONEY SPENT AND DAMAGES TO OUR HOME! What kind of company is this to do this to customers? Yeah it works now after 4 visits, a flood, a plumbing bill, and no functional dishwasher for a month. AND 8 hours on the phone trying to get help!Business Response

My refrigerator broke 18 months after buying it brand new. The warranty is only for 12 months so I paid them upfront to fix it. It is still broken and they just cancelled the 5th appointment I made. I cannot get through to anyone who will help me. The people at the call center can only make appointments and leave me on hold for very long periods of time. They keep putting me off and at this point my fridge has been broken nearly 3 months. If I replaced it immediately I would have saved so much money. I just want my fridge fixed and I cannot wait any longer. Their appointment times are from 8am-5pm so I have to miss work to wait for them. And 3/5 times they just cancelled the appointment for no reason.Business Response

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer on 9 18 *************************************************************************************************************************** try some things to help it it did not work I called back and the were very reluctant to send a service technician to fix the problem after a month and a half the finally sent a technician and the repair did not work the the sent a new door after another month that was worse than first repair it didn't even close been waiting over another month for replacement approval and am getting nothing but the run around and excuses and no information about actual solutions so it's been 5 months and I still am unable to use my brand new freezerInitial Complaint

Refrigerator stopped working after six months of purchase. Frigidaire won't stand behind warranty for repair or replacement. Had several promises for repair in the last 60 days. Two Repair man have came from two different service companies, said refrigerator need to be replaced. Still waiting for response from Frigidaire. I want a refund for this product. It's been over 60 days. Every time I speak to someone they are in another country. It's weeks before I get a response back and still nothing is being corrected. I just want my money back. I am rejecting this response because:In regard to my claim with Frigidaire. They have been doing nothing but giving me the run around.
My refrigerator stopped working in March 2025. They have sent two different repair companies to check on the unit.
Both companies have told them the refrigerator need to be replaced. They have just been giving me the run around trying
to find a repair service that search for leaks in the unit. Powhatan Appliance Repair told Frigidaire on the phone in my presence
they have never heard of any repair service that searches for Freon leaks in refigerators. I have sent them my purchase information as they requested.
This unit only worked three months after purchase, its under manufacturer warranty, and it is causing me a major inconvenience. I need to have this unit
replaced or refund of my purchase price. Anything you can do speed up this process would be most appreicated.

Hello! My AC/Heat unit no longer works. Frigidaire referred me to a repair shop but unfortunately, the unit is no longer available. Frigidaire no longer has the parts needed to repair. Ive been waiting for a few weeks after I learned the unit is no longer available. When I call the customer service number they only give me email addresses. Unfortunately Im not receiving any responses. Im writing to you to help. I feel like the company doesnt want to honor their warranty. I have listed the file number below.
