Just look at their other reviews on BBB. Terrible service. Installed damaged windows and poorly installed window trim on my shed and I had to make them come out to fix it. Workers left chicken wings, among other trash, around my property which my dog choked on. They forgot to install flood vents during initial installation and i had to wait over 6 weeks for them to install vents that cost $225 at home depot, but charged me $450. I still have a banged up door and windows in poor shape, but I just do not wish to deal with them anymore. I was sent an invoice for the flood vents, saying its past due. I've called many times to be answered by rude employees, constantly on hold, and usually just get hung up on. They will not allow me to pay this last invoice and be free of them. I will not be sent to collections or anything due to their incompetence.

      Poor services.
I placed an order for a 18x20 ' carport in September 2022. I was happy when a representative informed the installation date would be November 1. I asked one day off just for this installation and stayed in my property. When it came to 4 o'clock in the afternoon and I did not see any people showing up, I called the lady who scheduled the installation. She was confidently telling me that everything was on schedule. She promised me if something wrong, she would called me back. I kept waiting until 5 o'clock or so, a person from their installation crew called in and asked if the representative had called. I said no and asked him if he and his co-workers would come in today. He did not say anything except "the lady will call". I waited until 6:30, but no body came and no body call. Since I was not living in that property and had to spent 2 hours driving home. I got so frustrated, and tried to call the company to complain. No one would talk to me except transferring the call from one person to another person, or kept me listening to their annoying music and recorded apologies. I waited another two weeks, and still no one would call. I finally gave up and cancelled the order. If anyone wants to order this company's product because of their low price, thinking twice. You may end up wasting your time and get really frustrated.

We certainly apologize for the delays. The information that we received from the contractor was that they ran out of time after office hours and had notified the customer of the need to reschedule. Our state rep has been working to get this into another route. We are happy to work towards a new delivery date should the customer choose to move forward.

We ordered our building on July 12, 2022 and were told that it would be in within 12 weeks. We got our pad poured and worked to get all of the concrete block laid and filled solid with cement ASAP. We hadn't heard anything by the 12th week so we called to see if there were any updates. We were told that we would be called 3-5 days prior to install but they couldn't give us any timeframe. We waited...and waited and finally at the end of October were given an install date of 11-4-22 but were called back a few days later saying they had to reschedule to 11-8-22 due to weather related delays. Mind you, once our cement work was complete, we sent photographs AND a very detailed drawing with EXACT measurements showing what was done and everything was approved. Well, today they came to install our building and found out that the parts were not fabricated correctly. The piece of metal that lays on top of the block for the building to connect to was not cut to account for the door that sits down below the top of the blocks...instead it was one single piece. What they did incorrectly is a decently simple fix and would take an hour or less to refabricate correctly (note that this was an error on THEIR part, NOT OURS, as we made absolutely positive that everything was done to specification). The workers spoke to a few different people at the company trying to come up with a solution to the problem but couldn't, it simply had to be refabricated, so they left. I spoke with someone at the company after the workers left and was not even given any inkling of when they could reschedule the install of our building, so now we are stuck waiting on them to call to reschedule...AGAIN!! This is a complete load of crap as we need this building to put our boat and equipment in for the winter or we wouldn't have paid good money and ordered it!! We are EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED with this company at this point!!! 1 star is too much and if I could, I would leave 0 stars!!!! BEWARE!!!

We certainly apologize for your frustrations and delays. CCI was provided a detailed drawing of your stem wall. We manufactured the opening based on that drawing. When the crew arrived on site, the measurements of the stem wall are not what was placed on the drawing you provided. The contractor took new measurements to return those to the shop to re-manufacture. We are currently waiting on the detailed measurements from the contractor at which point we will be in contact regarding a reschedule date. It is my understanding that you have spoken with your state rep a fews times who has advised that we will be in touch as soon as possible with an update.

OMG...WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!! PLEASE just fix your mistake and get us our building instead of trying to place blame where it does NOT belong!! The metal piece that they brought was a single long piece and should have been 3 pieces so that there would be a piece from the door to the right front corner, a piece that would be set down into the stem wall for the door to be set on and then another piece that would continue on down the length of the wall...seriously, they came with a single large piece of metal instead of a setup that would account for the door which was CLEARLY in both the pictures AND detailed drawing with EXACT measurements that were sent, and approved to CCI!! The contractor said the only way they could install the building that day was if we let them put everything on TOP of the stem wall...this would include the door - which we then would have to try to fill the hole in the stem wall where the door was supposed to go and then add steps to the outside AND inside so that we could even get into the building which would mean that we would go from a level area up steps then back down steps to get back to that level area again!!! This is totally absurd and NOT AT ALL how it was constructed OR what was shown in the pictures and detailed drawing that was sent to them and approved!! So, this is the REAL reason/problem why the building was not installed…nothing that we did but a CCI fabricating error!! The drawing clearly showed the opening in the stem wall for the door as did the pictures!! I called into CCI and spoke with Amanda while the contractors were here and I don’t think I was able to make her quite understand what the problem was so I told her that I would get the contractor on the line but as I was walking to him she called him (mind you, I was still on the other line so I could hear what she was saying and since the contractor was right in front of me I could hear his responses)...she was even telling him that the door was NOT supposed to be installed on top of the stem wall but was to be set down into the stem wall where the space for it was and that the drawing that was sent clearly showed! We realize that mistakes happen but even speaking with Amanda yesterday after the contractors left, I felt like she was trying to insinuate that we did something wrong which is totally NOT TRUE…this is what upset us even more than we already were after waiting so long to get our building!! And just an FYI...The workers that were here re-measured in front of us both and the measurements were correct (my husband has been a machinist for 40+ years and has worked for multimillion dollar companies where they build and fixed multimillion dollar turbines for large corporations...and their measurements have to be precise!!). When you say that the contractor took new measurements to return to the shop what they actually did was simply set the long metal piece that was fabricated incorrectly on the stem wall over the space for the door and made marks on it to show where it should have been cut and where the uprights should have been welded so that they can re-cut it and re-weld the uprights to how it should have been fabricated in the first place in order for the door to be set in where it is supposed to go (as per the drawing and pictures that were sent to CCI)!! My husband and I were both there the entire time and I even took pictures, so please to get your facts straight! I have all of my correspondences with CCI which includes every attachment that was sent and all of their replies plus plenty of pictures to prove who is in the wrong here…I may not be an attorney, but I absolutely listen to the ones in the family when they tell me to *** (cover your ***)!!!

I ordered an 18' by 20' garage in early June with the understanding that the concrete pad would not be poured until mid August due to weather and backlogs. Carolina Carport's called twice in early August about install but once the pad was poured and I tried to schedule the install problems began.
I called to schedule and was transferred to "state representative". After 10+ minutes of commercials I was told that I would be called back. I was not and after a couple of days I tried again (repeat this several times with a couple of mailbox full messages). Finally I got through to someone and was told to text photos of pad and site/contact info to phone number. I did this September 1.
When after two weeks I had heard from no-one, I called again (repeat of multiple calls as above). I finally got through and was told some time in October and I would get 2-3 day notice of shipment. End of October, no word I called again. Three more being put on hold and I was told that they had tried to call and had cancelled shipment because of no answer. This is a lie, the call was to cell phone and I had log of all "missed" calls. Now I am told maybe November.
If they don't want to ship, I'd prefer a refund of deposit but that is not an option. They claim to have "quality product" but I doubt it will ever be proved to me. Quality does not matter is the product is never delivered.

We certainly apologize for your frustrations. An order is considered active when site photos are submitted. We do regularly call through our hold orders to obtain updated information, hence the initial phone calls. Once the photos are submitted, delivery typically takes place in 4-6 weeks, weather permitting. It is not favorable for us to place an order on a route, attempt to schedule and that order not materialize. That impacts our entire route system. We have records where you were contacted for delivery with no returned call. This means you would have been pulled from the route and would be placed in the next available route for an additional attempt. It is important to remember that our calls do come through as an 800 number and can possibly be listed as a spam call. We have a 2-3 day window to schedule so it is important those calls be returned as soon as possible. We are happy to place you in the next available route for an additional attempt.

Ordered and put down almost $11k for a 24x36. Our concrete guys did a great job and then we received a call with a couple of days notice that they could install the building, The subcontractors showed up and did a great job but were told at the last minute that the garage doors with the chain drive were not ordered snd they the correct ones were ordered and that they would be installed in 2 weeks. I have equipment that is arriving and I don’t have doors and I’ve called several times and waiting over 20 minutes for extension 2030 and no one ever picks up. I’ve emailed too with no response. Now the neighborhood dogs snd cats are enjoying our new space snd we have no place for our equipment. Just tell me what’s going on! That’s all I ask. We have lots of family coming for Thanksgiving and not sure where we are going to put all our equipment.

I see so many negative reviews, I thought I should add my positive review. Very Positive really.
I ordered a large 50x22 building (super carport) to be installed on a prepared gravel pad, for car parking only, so it had 4 rollup doors. This is my second order from this company, the first on was a small carport with roof only, and yes it took several months to show up. However, this one only took a few weeks (see reasons, below). I ordered mine for “Allen’s Factory Outlet” website, and received excellent and prompt service. They answered all questions same day, or next day at the latest, and I could easily reach them via phone or email. There 3D builder is just an amazing tool.

After selecting my building and paying the down payment to Allen’s, I applied for the permit, which my county required drawings in duplicate to be sent direct to them for review, which Carolina Carports did right away, so no hitch there. In fact, I never had any problem getting someone at CC to respond to calls and email. After the permit was granted, I sent photos of the pad site to CC, as they require, and after just a few weeks they scheduled the install, about 5 days in advance.

The crew of three arrived right on time, installed the building over as 3 day period, spending a great deal of time checking the pad for level before even offloading the trailer, and then more time checking the frame carefully for square after it was assembled, well before adding any side or roof panels. It was obvious this crew was very experience, very careful in the work and diligent. I did have some difficulty communicating with the Forman, it was not really an issue for me though, it did not impede the work. In fact, I would hope everyone gets my installer. Very professional, though the whole build.

With the building completed, everything was installed as required, and it looked really sharp. The 4 roller doors worked perfectly, including the 16 foot wide one. The crew then did a detailed site clean up, a

Can I give you less than 1 star? Carolina Carport was awful to deal with regards to customer service. We ordered our barn and started the process in March. Finally got our barn set up in late Sept. We had minimal updates from Carolina about a plan with numerous emails ignored. We'd ordered a 60x64 commercial barn and a 12x60 carport with 3' sides.
After the barn started going up we noticed several dents and dings in the metal. We approached the installers and they did attempt to replace the panels that were the worst but did not have enough material to replace all of the bad panels.
It was noticed pretty quickly after the front of the barn was finished that there were numerous dents at most of the screw sites. This is the side of the barn that faces our home and is the approach in our driveway, so the first thing everyone sees.
Part way through the installation, the installers had to leave and go pick up the pieces of trim that were forgotten and it was discovered that they had forgotten over 120 feet of metal for our sides for the carport. This was never finished and they left stating they would have to come back when its rescheduled.
We attempted to reach out to Carolina Carport and were told that the dents at the screw sites are normal and we should have been made aware by our sales person. The Manger (Heather) insulted me by repeating herself multiple times and danced around the question of what I was supposed to do with a dented barn. Heather had even gone so far as to say there was nothing they would do, as it was 1000's of dollars of metal, to which my reply was "yes, MY 1000's of $$'s." In the end so far we have gotten nothing rectified and they had the audacity to request final payment to which they will not see until we are satisfied.
I would HIGHLY suggest you avoid Carolina Carports due to the lack of confidence and quality in their product and poor Customer Service Pre, During and post purchase.

I had three buildings installed. While the buildings are adequate, I have a few... concerns.
It was insisted that we have our pads made larger than the building's footprint by 8". Our cement contractor just assumed we had odd sized buildings. He has poured many pads for CC and they all fell into a normal sized building.
Being the first time I ever did anything like this, I didn't think of it. Do you know what happens to water trapped on a flattish surface like this perimeter lip we have? It runs under the sill and into the building. Now CC may have said we needed to caulk the bottom of the buildings, but I don't remember that instruction on our first installation.
DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THIS EXTRA WIDTH WITH YOUR PAD!
I spent many hours on my 60 year old knees and hips and back caulking most of these buildings. My installers did leave two sides over hanging the pad so I was saved some suffering.
I would have paid hundreds of dollars if they had offered this service... oh wait, do you have any idea how many tubes of caulk it takes to do 300+ feet?
Now about the garage doors. I have a total of five and only one closes easily for me. One will not lock because the slot they cut on site is too small and too low. My short, 60 year old wife cannot manage any of them. The handle is in the middle, which is fine, but unless you can step on it while reaching all the way to the lock, you are not locking the door. There needs to be a step under the lock.
Since we are required to have a four inch lip for water to collect on, your weather stripping is not even close to keeping the weather out.
Site cleanup... I collected enough screws to almost do one of my own projects, about 3 or 4 bags I would guess. I was just a few screws short, but I found what I needed in my tires, so all is ....well, I guess.
The barns are fine, but there are some serious flaws. Until they are fixed, I wouldn't recommend Carolina Carports.

The pad size is not dictated by CCI, it is dictated by the certification plans. The plans require that the anchors be embedded by 4''. This means that the pad needs a 4'' perimeter. The customer has the option of pouring the pad with a step down/turn down or flush. We do not recommend flush or flat due to the water concerns which we address in our terms, conditions and warranties so that customer are aware. The perimeter should be poured at an angle so that water runs away from the building. The other option is to pour the cement the same size as the base and purchase "Z" clips so the anchors still have the embedment and prevents water concerns. All this information is available in the plans for certified structures. We can send someone to check the doors and provide any clean up needed. The doors by design have a bottom silver piece that runs the length of the door that is intended to assist in closing. These are spring loaded doors so they will be tight my nature.

I ordered a Seneca barn thru Viking Structures (dealer for CC) I placed the order mid July and sent the required site photos on July 20th 2022. I knew Covid caused a lot of issues for everyone in the building industry, both consumers and builders alike. To me it looked like the bad review period had passed by the time I ordered. Yet I was still nervous about the deal and some reviews I read. I was told it would take between 4-8 weeks to get the building done. 5 1/2 weeks was the time frame to get the building delivered and setup. The crew was absolutely wonderful and smoked thru two on site modifications. And a design flaw on my end. Oops. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I will be getting another equipment shed someday when pocket book recovers.
