My name is ******* *****, and I am reporting this fraudulent company because I just got notified that they put their fraudulent trade line on my credit reports for a fraudulent debt by TMobile. I have NEVER HAD TMOBILE until I just got them LAST MONTH!!! But they are saying I owe these people over $1500, when that is just entirely untrue! HOW WAS I ABLE TO GET T-MOBILE SERVICE IF I OWE THEM OVER $1500???? It makes absolutely no sense! I have contacted Tmobile about this BEFORE and they assured it was in fact Identity Theft, and that I was not liable for ANY OF THESE FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!! I I had my personal identifying information stolen years ago and have had to deal with the repercussions of that till this day! The same people opened a fraudulent ******* & **** account in my name as well, which I was able to get both removed off my credit reports because they were clearly fraudulent! And this one is NO DIFFERENT! I literally am so over TMobile and Source Receivables Management, as they are both liars and scammers, and as such I am giving them this one and only chance to rectify this situation. Delete this fraudulent trade line by Source Receivables Management of of ALL MY CREDIT REPORTS (**********, ********, *******) or formal litigation against you all and TMobile will commence and you will be sued to the fullest extent of the law applicable. This is per advice from my attorney, as I have been advised to give you all this one last chance, or face the consequences.!Business Response

This company is trying to collect a debt that does not belong to me. I have notified them of this, and i have notified the company (TMobile ). i looked at my credit report today and saw this fraudulent account in collections. I have submitted a police report and stated this is not my account. I have NEVER had a T-Moible account. Is account was opened in Colorado years after i moved out of that state. I don't know who opened this account but it's not my problem. This needs to be removed from my credit report! I completed T-Mobile Fraud instructions back in Sept of 2023.Business Response

Source Receivables Management has reviewed the consumer
complaint. We are a third-party collections agency that was hired by T-Mobile
to collect on the past due balance of $1456.63 for the account ending in ****.
We are the fourth collection agency to attempt to collect this debt. Once an
agency no longer has an account, they remove the account. Thus, this account
may not have been confirmed fraud by T-Mobile. This account was opened on
11/24/2021 and cancelled on 4/3/2022. One payment was made on 12/15/2021 in the
amount of $140.00. The current balance comes from service charges of $260.00, a
late fee of $25.31, equipment charges of $1099.99 and a collection fee of
$71.33. We mailed out a fraud packet back in November and it was not completed.
If fraud claims were previously submitted with T-Mobile, the outcome of those
investigations should have been sent to the consumer.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
This claim is not legitimate. I have filed a fraud claim with T-Mobile. I never have had a T-Mobile account. There can be no proof this account is mine because I have never had T-Mobile. Now they are effecting my credit score. Fraudulent account now I have to prove it’s not mine? Why shouldn’t someone have to prove it is mine.Initial Complaint

Source Receivables Management LLC, 4615 Dundas Drive, Suite 102, Greensboro, NC 27407 sent a letter stating I had a delinquent debt to T-Mobile for $3,422.50. I told them when they called (after receiving the letter) that the debt was not mine and I had never had an account with T-Mobile. They sent a letter saying I would need to submit a fraud claim to T-Mobile with a police report and my drivers license. I am not willing to submit my personal information to this company since the debt is not mine. I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in my initial complaint. I do not want to give my personal information (copy of my license) to them. Since they are representing a debt that is not mine, I have no way of knowing if the information will be used for further unauthorized activity.
They are requiring me to seek a police report and send them my drivers license. I don't understand why this company will not accept that this debt is not mine. I have no information to give the police other than their word this is a false debt. This debt did not show up on my credit report when I checked it.
Thank you,

Randomly got huge 80 point hit on my credit. Turns out it was from "SOURCE RECEIVABLES MANAG" from T-Mobile. I HAVE NEVER USED. I HAVE USED **** on my cell since 2015. There for this is impossible. The is fruad plain and simple. I sent all 3 credit bureaus and I know 2/3 changed it back. I am not sure what the third is and if it will cause problems later. I want to COMPETLETLY get this fixed I just recently paid of a ton of debt and have NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. What ever you can do to smooth things out would be extremely helpful. Life has taught me to trust no one. I don't think its completely gone. Something is going on and I want to get to the bottom of it asap. Im not going to pay something that I never did. Plain and simple. There should be a law against false accusations. I would like to see some proof of this "$609" charge. I am not going to stop until I am convinced its truly over. WANT TO SEE PROOF. Maybe I can get my mother to help. Im not going to back down. You can even call AT&T and I guarantee they will tell you the same. I am paying through someone for it. They will vouch for me as im in there plan.Business Response

None of this rings a bell. I would like to know EXACTLY what was
purchased. Im sure you can find that out. They would prob ask for some
password and there's no way I would know. Should I call you guys for
more details or should I contact T-Mobile directly instead? But im
definitely not going to pay something that has absolutely nothing to do
with me. If this is possibly from me then there is no reason I can get
info on the exact charges. I have no knowledge of any of these dates
what so ever. I don't now what the hell is going on. But when I saw my
credit plummet im not going to be so friendly. Since this dates are just
random. I need something that I can nail down. Was it a device? a
service? Which device? Which service? Credit card? Debt? Numbers? any
linked accounts? hell that alone could prob connect the person. If I
dont reconize anything that is found then there you go. I just wish I
was told about this LONG time ago. My information being out there is
worrying enough. There no reason this should even be a thing, I never
told anyone such information other than employers as im aware of. Might
as well used random dates. But like I said I want to get to the bottom
of this. I never had this problem before so I don't know what to do to
solve this. They don't exactly teach you anything in school so like
always im flying blind. Only possible thing is my grandfather when he
was alive did mention he had a tablet. After he died I believe we found 2
tablets. I don't even know if they can be linked. Besides that I have
no other possible explanation of these charges. I mean he did have bad
dementia and I will miss him. But him remembering He died in 2020
thanksgiving day I believe so knowing that a payment was made just
makes it harder to pinpoint. Kinda wish there was a video of the person.
Far as I see it its fraud and the victim should have such information
that portions to there ID. That would probably help find who did it. Im
hoping some helpful information can be found. There's no reason for me
to have 2 ISPs after all. My guess is you look hard enough you will
likely find something. Perhaps a signature? video? items bought? Service
plan? Dates don't tell me anything. I has autism and people telling me
turn left on x then right, left left right means NOTHING (dates). SHOW
ME anything but that. maybe there was a payment plan? or some kinda
pattern? If the average person cant remember what happened on such dates then it really doesn't even be mentioned. If you trying to find a criminal, the dates of when something was bought is meaningless. But say a pic or video of them is WAY more useful. A picture is worth a thousand words after all. Would love to see that receipt/invoice. I just have nothing concrete or remotely tangible. OH like the employee that sold it. That would massively narrow it down. Id pay to see something concrete. I think you get it by now... I don't like getting screwed with.Initial Complaint

I have been disputing this company for days with ********. Claiming I owe T-Mobile $2931 I haven’t been with T-Mobile in YEARS. I have not seen anything in the mail from this company no contact, no proof of this debt. I’m not paying anything without any proof. Until then I don’t claim ownership and I want it off my credit reports.Customer Answer

Yes I have disputed with credit bureaus that’s the only communication besides possibly here that I had with them. They didn’t remove it and made no comment or any attempts to prove the debt. I have not received anything about this debt or company. I demanded for the proof of debt and still nothing. I left a statement on the collection.
