Monthly charges for a service that we have been trying to cancel for months. they only send me to a support email and number with no assistance. I want refund for the past 10 months of payments taken from my bank account via EFT. Bank of America will only refund a portion and not he full 10 months. I signed up for the free trial service on 7/30/22 I only used the service that day. I was subsequently Charge from August 2022 to January 2023, when my card fraud team called to verify the charges. There was no communication from the company after registration... No: notice of account status change, billing/renewal notices, receipts, or other correspondence. I called customer service and spoke to Lisa who initially offered a 1-month refund after which I requested to speak to a supervisor to further discuss my request. Lisa initially told me the supervisor could not help me and that who would grant the refund is the accounting team. I asked to speak directly to them, I was told it was not possible, requested to join the call and it was not possible. Requested the supervisor again to which she agreed but said he might be busy taking calls. After a brief hold Lisa came back to tell me that the supervisor was unable to take my call that he was busy that they would be able to give 2 months refund and that she would but the request in to accounting. I asked that when she speak to accounting that she asks them to refund me 5 months ($199.75) to which she responded that she had already spoke to accounting and they agreed to 2 payments. When I stated she did not say she spoke to accounting but to the supervisor Lisa got loud and her tone changed to an aggressive one. I immediately calmly asked her to calm down and to keep it respectful as I was being respectful and at no point raised my voice with her like she did. Lisa calmed and told me that if I accepted the two payments, I would not be able to get further re-imbursement of a supervisor call. I asked she have the supervisor call me and she apologized that she wasn’t getting loud but that she was adjusting her microphone, which she did not state when I initially asked her to lower her tone.
Andy the supervisor called me back I explained to him that I had only used the service once and that at no point did I received any email notification/ receipts from the service. That I looked on BBB and saw that people who had similar complaints to mine received a refund of up to 6 months ($239.70), and that I was requesting for 5 months ($199.75) refund. Andy offered me 3-month refund explaining that it is the maximum refund. When I re-iterated that I knew they have refunded up to 6 month’s and why would he not give me my 5-month refund request, Andy had no response but to tell me I was liable for the charges. I went on to ask Andy 4 months refund in attempts to reach a comprise and he completely shut down, and just re-iterated the same about being liable for the charges. I would like them to refund me 5 months of charges on my credit card that I was unaware of (total $199.75) and to abide by better business practicesBusiness Response

I signed up for a 7 day FREE trial for a Rental Lease Document. The day that I downloaded the Rental Lease Agreement I cancelled it immediately afterwards. They said that they have no record of me cancelling so they proceeded to charge me $39.95 from September-December. 4 Months of payments before I saw it on my credit card. I called to see if they would cancel my account again & refund at least some of the money. They said that they were unable to issue any credits. I cancelled this service on 7/15/2022. When I checked my statement on 11/17, I see that they have been charging my account every month since July.
You receive no notice from this company that you are being charged, no monthly receipt or anything to notify you that you are paying for this service or that your cancellation wasn't successful. When I called customer service they said that the cancellation was not successful on their end and refused to give me a refund or give me the ability to speak with a supervisor.
I cancelled with them for the second time today and as expected no real confirmation that the service was actually cancelled. They give you your customer ID which is listed on the account as a cancellation confirmation . I was so worried they would continue to try and scam me, I had to set up a stop payment on them as a merchant
This actually seems to be pretty common to be charged after canceling when you look at other reviews. I wish I would have done my research on them before I used the service.Business Response

I was forced to call to cancel as their site gives an error when trying to cancel in your account. The cancellation was confirmed but I was told there is nothing they can do about the $5 charge for my “premium free trial”. What!? I was upset because I signed up for a “7DAY FREE TRIAL” and was never given an option for a $5 trial or anything premium. I have the screen shot where it says “FREE 7 DAY TRIAL”! I was told that they are BOTH “Free Trials”. I explained $5 is NOT free. He told me I agreed to it an there was nothing they could do. This is unfair and deceptive. I have screen shots of the “free trial” I selected. I did not authorize a $5 charge for a so called free trial.
