    I contacted LEGAL TEMPLATES LLC on October 18th 2024 asking for a refund of $49.95 because my card was reported as fraud. They said they would refund my account but never confirmed my new card number. They told me the refund occurred on 10/20 which was a Sunday, the funds were taken out on 10/21. They do not communicate well and I have had people hang up on me numerous times. They said because the system shows the refund processed on their end there is nothing they can do. So they agreed to refund the funds to a card that doesn't exist so they could say they sent a refund when in actuality no refund was given. I can give any other information from my financial institution supporting the claim that the card is not valid and the funds were not returned. This company is a scam and I am disgusted with how I am being treated by them. I just want my refund sent so I can be done with this company and advise others to stay far away from them as well.

    I signed up for a trial. Within the trial period, I attempted to cancel the trial 3 different times. Upon cancellation, It showed it was canceled on their website. Because I didnt receive a confirmation of cancellation, I logged back in again, only for the account to show it was still active. Today, I attempted to cancel via text and also to ask for the month that I was charged $38.95 for today and reached ******. After 25 minutes of texting back and forth, she says that my account is canceled but she will not refund my charge of $38.95. This company appears to be a scam. I also attempted to call them via the number listed on my credit card charge. No answer.

    On or about 8/5/2024 I used a trial membership to this business, **************************, however the product wasn't appropriate and I cancelled. However, I realized just yesterday, 10/16/2024 that I have been billed $39.99/month for the last 3 months. I called the merchant yesterday to confirm cancellation and request a full refund of all charges. They are only willing to process one month's fees unless I agree to not open a dispute with my credit card company - if I agree to not fill w/my *********** they will offer two-month's credit. I have repeatedly requested a full refund - I did not use the service beyond a one-time access during the trial period, 2) I attempted to cancel w/in the trial period, an 3) because the merchant did not provide any goods or services to me. I'm respectfully requesting a full refund of all monthly charges. Furthermore, I believe that this merchant's business practices are misleading and anti-consumer, leading to many unsuspecting consumers being unfairly charged. I've emailed and called the merchant and have been denied the opportunity to escalate my concern and secure a full refund. They do not send out any notices regarding recurring billing. Please help, Thank you for your assistance.

    In July I signed up for a 7 day trial on the Legal Templates website. I perused to see if they offered the services I needed. I never logged in again. Upon checking my credit card, I have incurred 3 monthly payments of $39.95 on their website. Despite never receiving any email correspondence from their site verifying my account or even letting me know my trial was going to be ending. Or in regards to my account even being created. I have received NO emails from the company about my account or their site. But I have been incurring monthly payments for 3 months. As Im sure they can see on their end, I logged in to the site one time. In July. Never again did I utilize their services. I had no way of knowing I even had an account since I received no emails from them. I truly didnt even know what Legal Templates was when I looked at my credit card bill. I want a refund for the $119.85 I paid to a company I didnt even remember I signed up for.

     I am rejecting this response because: once again, I never received any correspondence from your company about my account. I never received account confirmation. I never received billing notifications. I received nothing. Due to the lack of correspondence by Legal Templates, I had no idea I even had an active account. 

    I have never logged in to this site. I do not owe $139.85 for services I never used. Absolutely ridiculous. 

    when I initially contacted in regards to a refund, I was told my account couldnt be located. Then, once located, I was told I needed to give more info about my payment information. THEN I was told I couldnt receive any refund whatsoever. Ive worked for companies before - I know that refunds can absolutely be given during prolonged timeframes. I am explaining to you that I NEVER RECEIVED ANY EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE from your company. I signed up for a trial, looked at the site and never went on it again. Had I received an email confirmation, I would have known to go on the site and cancel my trial. But I received no acknowledgment of my account or payment or anything.

    I used ************************** for one day. I downloaded one template and cancelled immediately. The system did not carry out the cancelation. I was billed at the highest rate for 3 months of service I did not use, want, or sign up for. When brought to Legal Templates' attention, any adjustment was refused, claiming I had assented to automatic renewal when I had not. I had instead immediately cancelled and not used the service - let alone the highest most expensive service- at all after the initial download for one day. This is not about disclosure; it is about deceptive refusal to allow cancelation. Like other users, I too did not receive any notifications or alerts as to the running subscription from the company. In addition, Legal Templates does not disclose that they are not based in the ************* or that users could incur a foreign transaction fee.

    I used ************************** to help draft some POA documents, but I didn't find it to be particularly helpful, but it was good practice. I forgot to cancel after the 5 or 7 or whatever day period and boom, I get hit with a 1.00 charge, and then a charge for either 38 or 39 dollars. Fine, shame on me, then I cancel it on the 12th of September and then on the 16th is another charge for 39 dollars. I feel blindsided, and in an attempt to talk this out with ***************** I basically was told- too late for a refund. I don't think this is fair, especially since the service provided was not even usable for my circumstances. After asking again for a refund and how to escalate the issue- I was asked to remain (this was through chat) and that the *** would contact accounting. Accounting said they could make an exception and reimburse me 30 dollars out of the 39 dollars I was charged and that in the future if I sign up again, I would absolutely not receive any refunds. This kind of made me feel like I did something horrible to be denied future refunds in the event that I come back. Thanks, legaltemplate for not seeing me as a human being :(

    In June 2024, I used LegalTemplates.net and canceled the membership within the 7-day free trial period. Unfortunately, I just realized today (9/19/24) that they have charged my card $39.95 on three dates, 6/27, 7/27, and 8/27 for a total of $119.85. The charges show up as PAY.LEGALTEMPL.COM London GBR HA52EX GBR.I contacted the company and a customer service representative named ***** assisted me. Her response was, that they have no record of me canceling the membership before the 7-day free trial period, how convenient. I reiterated that I specifically recall canceling and she asked for proof. Unfortunately, I did not take a screen shot of the transaction and I regularly trash and delete emails, so I have no proof to show. A quick internet search indicates that I am not the first, not the only, and probably not the last person who will experience this same situation with a shady internet-based business. If I need legal documents in the future, I will certainly steer clear of this company.

    I needed to convert a pdf to a jpeg file. I found legaltemplates.net when I included "free" in my ****** search. I converted the document just fine, and thought I was done for a dollar. I never received a receipt from this company, so I had no idea my card was being charged. If I intentionally signed up for this company, I would have intentionally put in on a business credit card. I had no idea of the charge for $38.95 renewal until I saw my personal credit card statement. No receipts were received - not even in my spam folder. They said it was auto-renewed after a 5 day trial, but both charges ($1 and $38.95) hit my credit card on the same day, and of course the trial had expired. **************** chat said it was impossible to refund this charge, but I see lots of people have had the same situation happen to them. I was also promised an email copy of the chat log. It was not received. Despicable business practices. I did a copy/paste of the chat log myself in case that would be helpful for your investigation (attached).

    I was charged $1 on 6/18/2024 to download the template, but on the same day, I was charged another $38.95 for the monthly renewal plan. I am not aware of this renewal at all. They never sent me the receipt for this renewal, and I was charged for three continuous months of $39.95 for nothing. Also, they automatically created an account using my email and an auto-generated password without my awareness, which is ridiculous.
