    ******** has been charged by this company, ordered by ******* ********. The charge is for a lumbar orthotic. The patient is not under treatment for back pain in any way. Furthermore, the company is in ************** and the patient lives in *******. I've attempted to call the phone numbers provided both on the ******** summary and the website provided, and both have been disconnected. I believe this is the second time my ******** account was billed by the same provider.

    Dune Medical Supply fraudulently billed my ****************** for medical equipment on June 19, 2024 for the amount of $1,963. I did not have this ordered for me nor did I receive it. It appears to be an attempt to fraudulently collect money.

    Today I learned that on 6/19/2024, a business called Dune Medical Supply, LLC billed ******** for a lower back brace in the amount of $1,963. The referring physician is listed as ******* S. *******. I live in ******** and have no idea who these people are, and Ive never even been to **. After reading the numerous complaints regarding this business for the exact same reason that I'm filing one, I feel that this place doesnt even exist and its a scam to defraud ******** and other insurance companies. ******** denied the claim because the referring physician wasnt Authorized.

    My husband and I both received claims on our ****************** for some type of device, both on 6/24 by this firm that we have never done visit with or were even aware of. This has been reported to ******** fraud.

    On June 19, 2024 my ******** was billed ******** for a back brace that l never ordered and never received. They paid ******** and say l may be billed ******.The ordering physician was ****** L ***** of Flint, Mi. He cant be locatedhes in the wind.On August 15, 2024 l received an EOB from my ********** and they were billed ******** for Medical Equipment from Dune Medical Supply. They didnt pay and were requesting additional information from my provider. I called ********** to see what this was about and they said it was fraud. They werent going to pay, but ******** had already paid.On September 19, 2024 l received the ******** Summary Notice with the information about this fraudulent back brace that l never ordered and never received. I called ******** and let them know this was fraud. They suggested I change my number.I tried calling Dune Medical Supply and the mailbox is full and you cant get through.This needs to be stopped and ******** needs to be reimbursed the 1,103.86.These people should be charged and put in jail.

    This company fraudulently billed my medical insurance for Medical Equipment for $1,963. Have never had medical equipment ordered for me nor received any medical equipment. Appears to just be an attempt to collect $s with no justification!!

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  The failure to respond in any way appears to support my allegation that this was a fraudulent attempt to 
    invoice my Medical Insurance for a piece of Durable Medical Equipment that was never ordered by a health care professional nor provided to me!!

    I received a notification from my insurance company on the 22nd of August 2024, ********************************************** Benefit Plan.This statement indicated that Dune Medical Supply charged my account $1,963.00 in 05/24. Claim #*********. I called the insurance company and was told to call the medical supplier. I tried to call this company to let them know that they had billed me in error, that I had not received any medical supplies from any provider because I do not need any medical supplies, and wanted to know how they got my name and insurance coverage. I was unable to contact anyone at this supply ********** insurance company originally covered part of the billing, but later rescinded payment, once I called the insurance company to let them know of this fraud

    This complaint involves ******** fraud.On August 12, 2024, I received a delivery with a return address label from: Onyx Medical Supply, ***********************************************. (08AUG24 ship date).Inside the box was an LO637 back brace and paperwork from: Dune Medical Supply LLC, ******************************************************I never ordered a back brace, so I called Dune's phone number ************** during their hours of operation and there was no answer. I left a voicemail, and never received a call back. I tried again a couple days later and the recording stated the voice mailbox was full. I was unable leave a message. On my third attempt to contact Dune Medical Supply, I reached an employee and requested a pre-paid label to return the back brace. He said he'd call me back the next day. That never happened. Upon googling Dune Medical Supply's address/phone number I noticed they had received previous complaints to the BBB for the same non-responsive issue. Being suspicious, I called the ******** Fraud Line on 8-15-2024 only to discover my ******** account had been charged about $1500 and Dune Medical Supply had ALREADY been PAID about $1200! My primary care provider's name was listed on the ******** request that was paid. I called my provider to alert him to the fraud. He said he never approved the request and appreciated the heads-up red flag.I have since received a new ******** card with a new ******** number.I believe ******** should get their money back from Dune Medical Supply.Thank you, ***** *****

    I never received a label to send the item back to them.  I also haven't heard whether or not they reimbursed ******** for their fraudulent claim.

    Today August 27 I received a statement from my health insurance United Healthcare & on there is claim ************** dated June 17, 2024 for a rigid panel lower back brace in the amount $1,963.00...******** won't pay as the provider needs to send records.THIS IS FRAUD...I LIVE IN ******* & DON'T HAVE BACK ISSUES & HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THIS CLINIC OR DOCTOR. SHUT THIS GUY DOWN ASAP.
