I ordered a washer from LOWES on Oct. 11th, 2023. It claimed that the estimated delivery time is Oct. 13th, 2023. However, every single day, I receive an email of Lowes delaying shipping the washer. A week later, they continue to send me an email by the end of the day, saying my estimated shipment had been delayed. Eventually, they told me that the washer is out of stock and I might ended up waiting for the washer for months. I called the corporate office multiple times, and each time nothing was done. We had to cancel the order and take our business to *********** ********** is very efficient and professional. They shipped our washer in three days. If you want to save yourself from headaches, take your business to ********** instead of Lowes.Business Response

On 8/25/23 I physically entered the store and purchased a GE Front Load Washer (Item#:1639525), a GE Electric Dryer (Item# *******), a GE Stack Kit (Item#*******), and a Three Year Protection Plan (Item#*******) at the **************** Desk. This process was long and tedious (atlease 1 hour)I was told the items would be held in inventory and I could pick them up when I was ready in a month or two. Yesterday, on 10/23/23, after multiple attempts to get someone to answer a phone at this location (phone lines were hung up before I even got hellos after waiting for quite some time on multiple occasions), I was able to get a "******" on the phone. ****** struggled to locate my order because my full name and number were never put on the invoice. Once ****** did locate my order, it showed that my items had already been picked up! She stated that camera footage would need to be reviewed by a manager to verify that the items were not picked up upon purchase. ****** called me back later (which i appreciated the follow up) only to let me know that one of the items was not in stock, and that they would need to get the other item in, but ONLY after the cameras had been reviewed. It's been 24 hours now since I started this quest, and I cannot get anyone there to answer the phone to follow up with me regarding whether or not the cameras have been reviewed OR when the other item might be made available to me. I have an entire construction team waiting on this one item to move forward. An item that I purchased was told was being held for me 2 months ago. After being hung up on again today. I decided to call Lowe's corporate customer care line. During my first call attempt, the representative abandoned the call. On my second call attempt, the representative (*********) was somewhat helpful, but state that I still have to wait on the store to rectify the situation for 24 more hours! I simply just wanted to pick up the items at a different location at this point.Business Response

I have paid Lowes to install my garage doors openers 2 of them and they sent their guy to install the garage door openers but the installation did not go good and the installation was done incorrectly and the garage door openers are not working at all . I asked them to come back and fix the issues and but until now the issue has not been resolved and they need to replace the old wires with new wires but they refuse to do so even though I paid them for installation of 2 garage door o-enters and I paid 750 dollars . But the garage door openers are not working and Lowes is not doing anything about this issue. I purchased new carpet and padding for my entire home from Lowes on 8/8/2022. The carpet was ordered and then installed on 8/18/2022. I was informed that the carpet warranty is 1 year, beginning on the installation date. On the date it was installed, I noticed a "washboard/rippling" look to only one area in one room and asked the installer why. The installer informed me that the carpet was stretched properly and that the rippling might be from it being rolled up at the tighter end of the carpet roll, and to give it some time to flatten out. Throughout the house, this carpet is from the same roll, and there is no other area with this problem showing up. I gave the carpet 1 year to the date, to straighten out and it did not. My family does not wear shoes on the carpet, and we have only vacuumed the carpet to keep it clean. I began my claim on 8/18/2023 (within the warranty period) by calling Lowe's customer complaint department and providing pictures of the issue. Lowe's did not send anyone to physically inspect the carpet. After several weeks of intermittent dialogue, the claim was ultimately denied for a couple of reasons. One stated that the warranty was expired, and the other said that the carpet only required re-stretching. I have called a couple of installers, and upon inspection, I have been advised that this is a manufacturer defect. I contacted Lowe's again and informed them and they stated that there is nothing that they can do for me. I am seeking for the carpet to be repaired/replaced in the room where the issue is, or for me to choose a comparable carpet that will match throughout my house so I can have matching carpet at no charge, or a full refund so that I can buy carpet for my entire home somewhere else. I have done absolutely nothing wrong, and feel as if my claim was filed withing the warranty period, and denied without merit.Business Response

We bought a new built home in June 2023. Ordered a fence to be installed by Lowes in June 2023. Paid for the Fence July 2023. Lowes delivered the materials on 10/4/23. It was installed on 10/9/2023. When Lowes delivered the materials, our property was damaged. The forklift put 4 holes/gashes in our garage concrete. They also scrapped the soffit above the garage. The forklift also left big black tire track all over our driveway. This is new concrete, and now its ruined. I Opened a claim with Lowes about the damage on 10/10/23. I have been given the run around everyday since then. Always promised a call back...They never do. I've been told my case has been escalated to the highest level. My case # is ********. We have tried to get the tire track all over the driveway off and nothing has worked. Lowes needs to get this resolved asap. I've also called and sent 7 emails to the store manager of the ****** ** store and he has not returned any call like he says he will or replied to any of my emails. That is just poor business. I want the damage repaired. There is also 2 pallets in front of my garage of access materials that I've asked them to pick up and credit us for, they have yet to address they either. I have over $1000 in materials in my driveway that could be stolen. The pallets are sitting in front of my garage blocking access to be able to park inside the garage. I would like a credit for the materials, damages repaired and to be compensated some how for all the issues and extra work we have tried to do to fix the damage they cause.Business Response

We purchased the 3rd Dishwasher from Lowes and the 3rd is not drying. We called mid May to have it serviced. ******** Appliance came out 3 times and replaced 3 parts and is still not working. We called it in again with the protection company and they scheduled it again with ******** appliance and they cancelled the appointment. We tried several times to call them left messages and they will not call us back or show up when Lowes has scheduled them to come out. I called again Lowes set us up with a different company Affordable tech they did not show up for two scheduled appointment and we called again 10/23/23 and the Lowes protection company aging schedule another company to come out we will see if they show up. What is ridiculous is we are going to start all over with a new company that has no idea on what has been replaced and this could go on for months and it has been going on scene May. We have had this happen to us before and I did fill out a complaint them also. I NEED SOMETHING DONE NOW> Lowes service protection needs to revamp their company to more customer satisfaction. when I go talk to the Manger at the store he says we hear this all the time but no one in cooperate cares, he feels bad but his hands are tied. In August 2023 my husband and I bought out first house, so OfCourse we have been doing a lot of home improvements and I have had terrible luck at Lowes but that's where everything is that I need. I have spent so much money there in the past couple of months. and EVERYTHING i have had to return or exchange I bought a ****** door and I told the guy what I need, and he said oh yeah, this one, gave me the wrong size and I gave him the exact measurements now I have a door I can't return because the box was destroyed they have shorted me mulch in my car pick up the boxes where marked wrong on blinds. etc. I still need an ice maker, porch rockers, sweeper, fence, pavers so so much more. This is just absolutely ridiculous. what is wrong with people I do crafts and I buy a ton of wood there it's just sad that I have gone through this?Business Response

I purchased a Deck installation in June 2023 from Lowes in ********* *****. I was given a time frame of when this deck completion was to take place. In June 2023 the first contractor was to show, never did. I had to call and find out why, after my husband took off work to be home. I was told this contractor no longer works with Lowes. Second contractor was to show up in July, again, never showed. I had to call after I took off work. Since then we have been on waiting list with our third contractor. Third contractor was to show up yesterday, Monday October 24th, I recieved a call Saturday from corporate that they were no longer coming and I was assigned to another contractor. I had already scheduled to be off work Monday to be there when the contractor showed up, so instead I went into the store. At this time I was made aware that Lowes was wanting out of the contract due to some 'stipulations' in the contract. I made Lowes aware that I was not having out this contract. I had a deck with a roof prior to this contract. I was made aware to take down/remove my deck atleast a week prior to the first contractor arriving in June. So since this I have had nothing. I have taken off work and/or left my house approximately 6 times for the contract. As of today my employer has wrote a letter on my behalf explaining this. At this time I need something built, due to me removing my deck for the contract. I want the full deck and roof built that was drawed up in my contract to be completed.Business Response

Purchased a whirlpool refrigerator. It was delivered on 10/14/23. It does not cool and has never cooled. I tried over a week to call customer service and was finally able to get through on 10/21. Lowes refuses to bring me a new one because 48 hours has passed since delivery. The manual of the appliance says it takes 48 hours or more to be fully functional.
