1 starI placed an online order for 1389$ In the course of a day I had 29 different dollar amounts run against my checking account none matched the amount originally purchased when I called to ask online customer service why I was told this is the way it is done since they source the product from different store. At one point my checking account was over drawn by 3254$ I purchase online all the time and never once did I see anything like this. To make matters worse the entire reason I did this purchase is because my husband is going through chemo for end stage lung and bone cancer. He is too weak to lift 15 sheets of ********** lumber and sheet rock. We were going to have the order delivered to make it easier on him. We finally resolved to cancel the entire order since we were told these holds would continue to go off and on our account until the product was delivered on July 12th which is 15 days from now. The result is we have no building materials, or electrical components to keep the job going, we will need to go to the store to repurchase everything and we had to cancel his debit card to stop the on slot of charges against our account, so now he has no debit card until the new one comes in the mail . Everyone apologized which was nice but it does not buy me back the time I spent ordering the product, my time on the phone with my bank, then finally needing to cancel the order. we like Lowe's, just bought a refrigerator there 2 weeks ago which we got for a great price and love. This was a true shame and there is absolutely no excuse that is good enough for charging someone 29 times for an order. I recommend never using ************************** to place an order or at least not using your debit card.Review fromDona B

1 starLowe's has the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever encountered! I can see that I'm not the only customer who has encountered this issue from reading other reviews. How does this company stay in business?! I ordered a product and was sent a completely different product with another customer's name and order number attached to the product!! I contacted Lowe's by telephone and online chat to ask that they send the product I ordered. I was told that I could send the wrong product back to them and receive a refund or drive to a Lowe's store and ask for an exchange. WHAT ????!! It was Lowe's error, not mine!! A reputable company would have apologized and sent the correct item. Add me to the list of NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH LOWE'S AGAIN. ******* *.Review fromLydia P

1 starBought a Husqvarna Weed eater from Lowes for close to $200.00, it work great 2 times, the 3rd time it would start then when you pulled the trigger it would stop running....I took it back to Lowes for an exchange for one that works, they said if it was unused & in the box they would take it back, but in this case I need to call Husqvarna for an RA (RETURN AUTHORIZATION) number, the Husqvarna told me they don't give RA numbers to consumers they only give them to the place of purchase...went back to Lowes with print out of my online chat telling Lowes they needed to help me, Lowes called **************** told them they don't give RA numbers...Husqvarna sent me to Lumax in Belton Mo., they told me they have not done Husqvarna for 15 years but Husqvarna will not take them off their list....Lowes refuses to help me, they are dismissive, No smile, no emotion at all, kind of like brain dead...going back today to see if the store manager can help me, I believe I'm just stuck with a Husqvarna Weed Eater that doesn't work & out $200.00, can anyone help me find customer service it has been missing for a long time....Review fromSteve D

1 starLowes reward program you dont get points for buying Windows through Lowes program. They never told us that when I purchased them. Ive had trouble just recently with the stove a few years ago with the refrigerator too through Lowes. And every time I talk to him, I get a run around and run around so I spend hours on the phone with them.Review fromRabah K

1 starLowe's is the worst store ever, staff, customer service and also corporate. I purchased a pressure washer from them for more than $450 with $***** for the warranty. 3 months later it started having problems. I use it for my job as house washer. I was washing a house and the engine star making crazy noise and it stopped working. I took it to the store on ************ for help. The lady at the front asked what's going on, I said this machine is not good at all this is the third that it's stop working while I'm using it. Her answer was we can't do nothing here, here is the number for manufacturing company call them because here we can't do nothing. I asked for the manager but she wasn't professionnelle at all. She wasn't happy to help at all. I called the craftsman and I explained them what happened. They said Lowe's should take of that not us. Since the purchase was made at the store . Then they gave Lowe's corporate number to call them and guess what they told your item was out of our return policy and I have to call craftsman to fix the issue not us. It's been a week now without my business stop taking clients because the machine isn't working and I paid ***** for protection and warranty for 3 years. Lowe's corporate were not helpful at all and the only thing they like to say is we can't do nothing. Here is the number that you should call. Please if you go to Lowe's don't believe their smile because it %200 fake. As soon you buy something from them and you pay. They will show another face if you will return it or you didn't like it. 1 star******! LOWE'S DOES NOT HONOR IT'S 30 DAY RETURN POLICY!!!I just had the worst customer service experience I have had at ******************** - a company I have rated well in the past. I wanted to power wash my patio, but found my old one didn't work properly so I went to Lowe's in search of a new one. A sales person at Lowe's convinced me to purchase a $300 *********** power washer and convinced me if I could fix my old one, I had 30 days to return it. Given that piece of information, I purchased the new washer on June 21. Thinking I had 30 days to return it, I took my wife and two grandchildren on a little, 4 day trip to the lake. Upon my return 5 days later (June 26), I determined I could fix my old washer. I immediately went to Lowe's to return the new, unopened unit and was told I had exceeded the necessary TWO DAYS to return it! Apparently, they have a non-posted, "small print policy" of TWO DAYS for unspecified items like power washers and generators. Nowhere else was it posted that the return policy for this item was a scant 48 hours - NOWHERE!!!! Had I known that initially, I wouldn't have purchased it. I grabbed my receipt from the "customer service desk" and called corporate service and support. They repeated this rule but was "extremely sorry their associate misinformed me." I'm not sure her "apology" was worth my $300 pain, but next time, I'll think twice before shopping at Lowe's. You should think twice too! There is always ******** or **********! 1 starPlease dont do business with them. We ordered appliances, they couldnt install or delivery correctly the first time, we waited a week for someone to be able to come and do it. The new person realized the new order was busted. Now we have two washer dryers that are busted in our house, no notices to be able to get them out. No one has been helpful in getting us in touch with someone. Thanks for the amazing experience!Review fromMarc L

1 starPlaced online order through LOWES App (SEBRING FL) on 5/16/25 for 900 pounds of landscaping stone. BBB won't let me enter order #, thinks it is personal information. Stone comes in 30 lb bags, 30 bags per pallet. Pallet size according to website is 3' high, 3' wide, 4' long. Total height of delivery was 1.5'.R&L Carriers arrived 5/22/25 with pallet of stone. Immediately I noticed pallet had been tampered with and R&L driver wouldn't verify bag count nor let me check by moving bags around on pallet. Driver declared that if I manipulate bags I accept the order. Incompetent driver, driver is responsible for load upon signing until delivery. Took picture of pallet which clearly shows tampering and loose stone. I rejected order as incomplete. It was very clear that he had an agenda, possibly involved with missing items. I contacted LOWES Immediately after R&L driver left, spoke with Molissa or ******* and was informed I would receive credit for return in 7-10 days. As of now, 6/25/25 I have not been credited for return over a month later. I contacted LOWES on 6/20, spoke with ****** who stated he can't help me and would notify another department to contact me which would be within 24 hours. NO CONTACT! NOT SURPRISED. LOWES isn't wealthy enough so they have to steal from longtime customers. I should be paid interest on funds being withheld. I filed dispute with my cc company due to LOWES incompetence and not keeping their word on timeliness of refund.Review fromHugh R

1 starI bought a ridding mower and still on the 30 days return and they wouldn't take it because I had to call a number to get a ok from the insurance company!! Because I could've abused it not that hes saying I did but some how they looking at it wouldn't help wanted a number to ok the return when I'm in my 30 days money back guarantee. I was not satisfied with the purchase and was sent back with my mower even though I told them that I called and talked and was instructed by Lowes employee to bring it I brought it and they wouldn't take it and according to the manager she would trow it away because it was considered trash!! But not only did they not satisfied their policy they were rude and very condescending and basically kicked me out. I read their policy but according to them they can change it according not sure what that meant maybe had to do with me being a minority.Review fromRon B

1 starHad trouble with these big box stores in the past with fraudulent charges on my credit card after purchase. In a pinch and against my better judgement, I bought some stuff at lowes for curbside/instore pickuup. I ordered the items over the internet, then drove to lowes in ******** for pickup. That all went well. Then a few days later they charged me again. Two identical charges for $174.94. So I called them. The manager at Lowes claimed she only saw one charge when I am standing there with my bank statement showing her Lowes charge me twice in two days for the same order. She refused to credit claiming her system was correct. Had to file fraud paperwork at the bank to get my money back. Took more than a half a day. I will never go to Lowes again. Criminal fleecing by the system.
