1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a light for a bathroom and tried to exchange it for something different. It was outside of their 90 days policy, so they wouldn't allow me to exchange lighting. The product is currently still being sold by their company. I just wanted to exchange the light and get something different. The money was going to go back to Lowe's and then they'd have a happy customer. However, now I'm stuck with a light I don't like and out the $100 something dollars. Horrible business model. I won't ever shop here again.Review fromClay S

1 starIn January of this year, I ordered security storm doors from Lowe's, having been told they could do a door replacement. They sent an installer team to measure my door opening for the replacement. When they came with the new door it was too large to fit in the opening. So, I was told it had to be special ordered from one of their suppliers, (****** Storm Doors), and from that time in January until late April still no doors. ****** kept putting it off to a later time. So, we canceled with ******, and Lowe's placed the order with another company. It is now late in June and still no doors. This new company is putting it off until later as well. I have gone since January without a security door on my home due to Lowe's inability to provide advertised services. Their vendors are obviously Chinese overseas vendors. Now the most aggravating is having to try and call the store for status. You have to wait for their AI operated phone service to take you on a journey before ever getting to speak to a human being. Then once some human answers and determines where to switch you, you have to **** through the expansive ************ again. Twice when some human answered I was cut off. On one occasion it took me an hour to actually speak to the person who had knowledge about my orders. I am a disabled veteran living alone and now have an unsecure front door since they took down my old security door and hauled it away. This will be my last negative experience with Lowe's which is immersed in DEI, WOKEISM, and Chinese vendors who could care less about customer service or customers at all. I will be spending my money elsewhere and I suggest all service personnel do the same. Just because this site requires it, I will give one star. I would have rated it less than one star.Review fromJoan G

1 starI purchased washer and dryer, on test run noted both appliances had defect, the items were returned and exchanged. the new washer was damaged during delivery is what I was told, I discovered after a couple of days later. I set out to do a load of laundry and during the spin cycle the machine shock violently, service men came out and confirmed the washer was damaged on delivery. I made a report to Lowe's and asked for exchanged and they refused me. Lowe's have a 48 hr return policy on appliances which I believe is unrealistic. There is a test on delivery that is limited, for a washing machine you will find problems only upon running completely, I think should show some integrity and allow returns for damaged goods. I will take this furtherReview fromLisa C

1 starOn 05/08/25 I went to Lowe's and purchased and paid for a storm door, was told it can be picked up on 06/18/25. On 06/18/25 I went to the store to pick up my storm door that I have purchased and paid for, was told that it should be available on 06/19/25. On 06/19/25 I went to Lowe's to pick my storm door up that I purchased and paid for, it's still my storm door. I was told I should have received an email regarding my storm door that it has to be redone, I informed the representative for Lowe's that I have not received any email regarding the status of my storm door that I have purchased and paid for. I have contact Lowe's on 06/24/2025 and still storm door and have not received an email regarding the status of my storm door. I have requested a total refund.Review fromCarlene K

1 starI bought a Whirlpool washing machine on 2/12,25 from Lowes ********************************After trying for weeks to do laundry, machine wouldn't even allow me to get hot water--very unhappy. The settings on the machine front were ridiculous Didn't like so many, but thought I'd learn to deal with it. Still after weeks, no hot water. I wanted to return it, but the 90 day return had expired, of course. I called Whirlpool and was told that the water alternates with cold water coming into the machine for proper temperature and that we must not have hose connected right. There was absolutely no hot water. Was told it was functioning as it's supposed to. After hours on the phone, they decided to send a repairman . Repairman came and told us only to use certain settings. He said we should make a diagram of which settings to use and put it near the machine so we would know how to use it. There are 27 dial positions on the machine--18 that we shouldn't use according to the service man. He said to use only the 8 positions that he had set. What a joke! After he was here we did get hot water, but everything about this "thing" is a $620 piece of junk and I don't want it in my house. I want it gone and the money I spent be refunded to meReview fromRobert M

1 starPurchased refrigerator August of 2024, and it has alteady stopped working. Called Lowes and recieved a third party phone number to fix. After two weeks someone finally came, and only fixed the freezer. My aunt and uncle who are 91 and 85 are living out of coolers for the past three weeks. No one will return phone calls, and this is still under warranty.Review fromJohnna W

1 starAwful experience. Purchased a stove. Delivery guys installed a washing machine cord on our stove and blamed us for ordering the wrong parts! The parts Are automatically added by Lowe's default when an appliance is ordered. They left the stove in our home uninstalled. Prior to leaving our house the delivery guys called the store and told them that WE ordered the wrong part. They gave the associate over the phone the part number she didn't know that it was wrong part either. She spoke with me over the delivery drivers phone and said nothing to help the problem. We had to go to the Lowe's store and return the part. The sales associate immediately recognized that it was a mistake and said it was a washing machine cord! Once we received the correct part we were told it would be days before they could come back to our home and reinstall. We didn't know that it was a washer cord until we ourselves returned it to the store! It gave me a completely different feeling about the delivery guys! The delivery guys insisted that we plug in the appliance ourselves. They refused to plug it in. Why didn't they know it was a washing machine cord??!! This could've been catastrophic and could've caused major damage to our home! Clearly they didn't do the checks and balances on the part prior to them connecting it to the stove Really?!!! Why are the delivery people so incompetent?!! They didn't even try to check the truck to see if they had a different one. These people are supposed to be properly trained in quality assurance to ensure customer appliances are installed with the proper cords or equipment to avoid any hazards. The Lowe's policy states that the delivery incudes set up and demonstration of the equipment. We did not receive that service. I would give the delivery guys a ZERO rating if possible. No one offered to take the part back and fix the issue!! I will NEVER order another appliance from them again. This purchase was over $900.00. I am VERY disappointed.Review fromBrandy N

1 starI am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at Lowes which has left me frustrated and extremely disappointed.I purchased almost $400 worth of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors based on guidance I received directly from a Lowes representative at this location over the phone. I had specifically explained that I needed interconnected smoke and CO alarms due to a requirement from our building inspector during a home renovation. After reviewing numerous options online, I called your store seeking clarity. The representative assured me that the models they recommended were capable of interconnection. Based on that advice, I placed the order and had my wife pick it up.When we attempted installation, I discovered that the detectors do not interconnect; the very function I was assured they would provide. This was not a misunderstanding on my part; this was a failure by Lowes staff to provide accurate, knowledgeable support. When I returned to the store to exchange the units, I was met with complete disregard. Despite clearly explaining the situation, I was told that I was just beyond the return window and nothing could be done. That is entirely unacceptable. I relied on the expertise of your representative and was given incorrect information. I am now stuck with almost $400 in non-functional equipment, through no fault of my ****** is unacceptable that a customer should be penalized for trusting the information provided by your staff. If Lowes cannot stand behind the advice and recommendations given by its employees, then customers are left vulnerable and misled.Review fromTeresa M

1 star@Lowes, I sat waiting to speak with someone who could inform me of my order status and delivery. It did come when it should have. Then, a few days later I get a text, informing me my dryer would arrive on June 17. No one called to ask if June 17 was a convenient date to receive my order. It just came. When it arrived at 7:15 pm, the driver informed me they had gotten stuck in a ditch earlier that day. They were clearly exhausted. It had been a rough day. My dryer was damaged. I said dont take it off the truck, take it back to the store. The next day, I went to the store because clearly calling them didnt work. I asked for a manager or someone who could help me with my order. ****, the manager came to the computer looked up my info and informed me my dryer would arrive on June 20. Not, maam could we deliver your dryer on June 20??? But, we will send your dryer that day, period.I pulled out my phone to show Garythis picture of a phone call to Lowes. I subsequently called Lowes three times that day and three times the call was disconnected on their end without ever speaking to anyone. **** replied, Were too busy helping other customers to answer the ******** response was not my usual. But, suffice it to say, I immediately recognized Garys attitude. He went from 0 to 120 in 0.3 seconds. He then told the clerk to refund me for the dryer. Im a ******** for a matched set. But, I should have said, Yes, and come get the washing machine too. I want all my money back.**** then proceeded to tell me not to come back to his store again. In which he enlisted another reluctant response. I went immediately to my car and called Lowes complaint department. ****, your behavior was unacceptable. Whatever you were unloading on me will come back to bite you. Lowes do better.***** **** is the manager of the Lowes Vidalia, **. **** is an imposter. I waited two days. ***** never called me, never bothered to deal with his derelict employee.
