1 starI bought a computer from them @two years ago and within @5 months it crashed and, after charging me however much for their online help, they could not fix it, so I had to send it in.
It took them forever to address the issue and then they couldn't fix the computer anyway so they sent me a new one.
Now, most recently I snapped a small plastic piece where the power chord plugs into the computer. **** ***** says about 3 weeks to fix. 3 weeks goes by, then a little later I'm called and told the price for the repair is @$700 which is probably more than I paid for the computer...a small plastic piece that connects the power chord costs more than the computer...that right there should tell you what kind of twats you're dealing with if you decide to go with Lenovo...
So, I say ok, Ill pay just fix my computer. Another 3 weeks goes by. I call. Nope, not fixed yet. Another week goes by, I go into **** ****..who says it has not been repaired yet. Another couple of weeks go by. I call **** ****and they say that, after quoting me the price for the part and repair, for a computer @ a year old...Lenovo is NOW saying they don't have the part...of course they don't tell me.
So, I call Lenovo. Wait on hold forever. Then I finally get a person: "Oh, I can't help you, let me transfer you." Wait on hold AGAIN forever. Get a person: " Oh, I can't help you BUT you should call Warranty. Here's the number..."
I call Warranty. On hold now for over 45 minutes. No indication of when I might speak to someone. I actually found this website, created an account and wrote up this entire review while waiting on hold with NO indication of when I might speak to someone.
All for a computer which was never great, broke and was unrepairable TWICE within two years and caused me so much time not only without a computer but wasting my time on hold. AND for a computer for which a small, cheap but important part snapped leading to expensive repairs. AND, at this point, I will likelReview fromShannon C

Terrible laptops and even worse customer support even when the device is under warranty. Wifi card is broken, bluetooth is broken. keyboard is iffy. They took it back a week after I received it to fix these hardware items. They uninstalled and reinstalled the OS and did nothing else. When they were told it was not fixed, they "escalated" it and then played games until I was outside the 30 day return window and now refuse to fix or replace it. It is still under warranty and I'm being ignored by them. DO NOT BUY junk from this sham company. They are a joke just taking money and selling lemons and they KNOW IT.Lenovo

1 stari bought a lenovo gaming pc only to have it freeze multiple times on the first day of receiving it. I've reached out to the support team and they ended up fixing it, but only for a little while until it inevitability start freezing again. i've been through this process multiple times and it never actually gets fixed and now i'm left with a defective machine and a "support" team that doesn't even know how to fix their own machine. buying a pc from lenovo was a mistake, a complete waste of money, and i wouldn't recommend lenovo products to anyone. super annoying.Review fromRajiv M

Bought the laptop in April, 2021. Order Number ********** and paid $1100 for the laptop and warranties
Have already have issues twice with the laptop within 1 year and 4 months.
First time they made us run to 2 different ****** stores without doing any proper investigation. After going through all the hassle upgraded it to premium care perhaps that is Lenovo strategy, the more the hassle the possibility of making money.
I have the same issue again 2nd time , Lenovo claims on the website “Fastest - Repairs done at your location, Next Business Day. If the issue can’t be solved remotely, an onsite technician will be there within one business day “ After I called the Tech Support and troubleshooting they said the onsite repair will take 1-3 days. I had to insist for next day repair.
My daughter project was delayed because of the laptop issue the first time, so upgraded and now she again has issues. She clearly asked me to buy her a new laptop during the call while trouble shooting.
The other issue: The battery has already started giving an issue, to my surprise the battery is not covered under warranty. Where does it say in the premium Care warranty on the site?
while convincing for the warranties they didn't mention anything about the battery and I asked if the warranty covers all the parts and repair cost. They claimed they will replace the laptop if not repairable.
The company charged me $227 for warranties which is over 25% of the cost of the laptop for warranties yet it doesn’t have the service and covers the parts the company claims.
Now I want to sell the laptop already but the warranties are not transferable either. Its a trap.Lenovo

1 starThe screen on our Lenovo laptop cracked. Called Lenovo Support and the associate said that if we reinstated our warranty it would cover the cracked screen & any other repairs we needed. Bought the warranty. Associate said she would call us in a month to schedule the repair. Associate never called. When I called Lenovo Support to schedule the repair they said the warranty would not cover the repair because the screen was cracked before the warranty was reinstated, directly contradicting what their associate had promised. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor promised to call within an hour. Never called me. Still unresolved. Lenovo Support has been terrible throughout this process and went back on their promise.Review fromDeb B.

1 starI bought a Lenovo IdeaPad on June 9, 2022. Set it all up then the camera and mic stopped working. I called ********* they tried everything. They told me to call Lenovo.
When I purchased the Lenovo, I also bought the Premium Plus for 19 months it cost $143.
I contacted Lenovo and they didn't even want to look at it they just told me to return it. I did. Then On June 14th I called Lenovo to get my money back. They gave me a order number and told me it would take 10 days.
June 23rd no refund yet so I called. Have to wait yet another 10 days.
July 21st still no refund. I called again. Gave me a song and dance telling me they are very sorry for the delay the refund will happen in get this: another 10 days.
Here it is August 10th and I verified with my card no refund. I called again.
I will NEVER Buy Lenovo. The customer Services is terrible. The person I spoke to on July 21st closed my refund stating it was done.. Got New Lenovo it wasn't.
When I called on August 10 I got another run around. I think that I will never see my refund!!
Terrible Customer Service. I love the product but because of them People stay away from Lenovo.
Customer Service is terrible, and the techs are even worst. So now, I am out of a laptop and out of $143. If I could give it an 1/8 of a star I would. Terrible!! Very disapointed..Review fromSusan T

5 starsThis is a VERY brief and condensed version of the headache I've been through with Lenovo and their customer "service" lately. Lenovo had a coupon advertised on their website. I added the product to my cart and the advertised coupon code would not work. I contacted customer service who told me that while the coupon code was still being shown on the website, it was no longer valid. The representative tried to get me to purchase another product but that was not what I wanted so I asked them to honor the advertised coupon. The representative created a quote. I attempted to checkout and was not able to use our military discount (5%) as we had done before (even when purchasing advertised items on sale). After contacting customer service, I was asked to purchase something else and when I declined, I was told that the only person who could fix the quote and apply the military discount was the person who created the quote. The representative who created the quote refused to apply the military discount. All of this hassle and back and forth resulted in losing a long-time customer - all over a measly $60 off of a $1200 sale. Way to go Lenovo. The issues
Lenovo tablet computer on a monthly or quarterly basis. The computer has been serviced by ****** ***** on an annual basis. As indicated I have made numerous calls to the Support Department of Lenovo on a monthly or quarterly basis. For issues of sticky keys, keys that don’t work at all, arrow key that do not work. The performance of the computer being slow, not being able to support Windows 11, and so on.
As indicated on my last conversation with the Support Department I was told that the only way to run the computer efficiently was to go back to Windows 10, and back up my files.
On 7/27/2022 I had ******* Maintenance Department to my home due to slow internet access. They determined at that time that it was my Lenovo computer. A speed test was performed at that time and it took approximately 5 minutes to boot up the computer to access the internet. ******* determined at that time that the computer was faulty, and stalled during it’s performance.
On 7/27/2022 I purchased a new computer at ****** ***** at the cost of $777.56 and connected to ******* internet with no issues when I arrived home. Lenovo Support Team did not remedy the issues with the Lenovo computer on 8 service calls that I placed. I feel that this product is not worth the cost of purchase of $400.00 in addition to the warranty insurance of $38.00, and my time spent.
I would never purchase a Lenovo product ever again, and will tell family and friends as well that this is the WORST company for any support in the US.Lenovo

1 starSo far Lenova has given me my worst customer service experience ever. Firstly, after 3 weeks they sent my laptop back with the same issue it started with. Oh yeah, are you aware that Lenova sends repaired products back without requiring a signature of receipt. My computer has sensitive personal information on it and they left it by my door for 2 days. I have a laptop from lenovo a yogac740. I paid for the warrant y to have techs to come to my house to mix my product i have escalated the ticket god knows how many times and zero people have contacted me. I have contacted them by email by phone and my product has not been fixed. Two month has almost gone by and ZERO contact has come to me about fixing my laptop and setting up an appointment. This is the last time I will EVER contact them. I am currently on the phone with them now begging for a manager and they will not give me a manager.Lenovo
