Purchased your company's windows via **** *****. Each window has 2 sections, for a total of 12 total sections. FOUR of the 12 sections were manufactured incorrectly - color combinations were COMPLETELY wrong. **** ***** Installation Svcs. ordered the FOUR replacement sections. Installation Services called 7/29/22 that replacements were received, and we scheduled an appointment for installation today (8/4/22). Can you believe Install Mgr came today with ONE replacement section because the other THREE were mis-manufactured AGAIN, and have to be reordered? Is it NOT the point of being in business to make a profit? How can ANY company make a profit if they do not manufacture the product correctly the FIRST time? Who can afford to waste time, energy, and resources?Cornerstone Building Brands

Our windows and doors are custom made - we make what is specifically ordered. Please contact our customer service team so that we can pinpoint the disconnect.Roy M

This is an obviously stupid response - This is the SECOND time they have to be reordered because YOUR COMPANY MANUFACTURED THEM WRONG. This is YOUR company's problem to fix.Cornerstone Building Brands

1 starAbsolutely the worst customer service. Have been in contact with Cascade Windows since November 2021 regarding a warranty issue. Representative came out to measure window in December 2021. Have called & emailed them numerous times & still waiting. Would recommend ******** Windows who we had to contact regarding a patio door which was shattered by the installers of our new shutters. That only took a few *********** are good. As for Cascade Windows, I would not recommend them to anyone. Emailed their executive team in March 2022 to let them know about the run-around & crickets!Review fromDeanna C.

I would give this business a zero rating if I could. Long story short my house was rebuilt due to a house fire in 2016. A few months ago with the cold and hot weather the top corner of my large living room window cracked. There had been moisture inside on and off all spring. I contacted my home builder to find out who supplied the window and if it was still under warranty and he stated Ply - Gem and yes it would be due to an improper seal. I contact Ply-Gem who were rude from the begining including the receptionist. The service guy that came out was rude and demanded to know who told me it was under warranty and that I was lying about the moisture. Within a week the crack went all the way down the window so I called another company to repair. it was found at this time that the window was improperly constructed and it was shimmed on all 4 sides which is incorrect and caused damage. Ply Gem (****) then started yelling at me that if it was because of the shimming it was the installers fault and not their responsibility. Back to the home builder I go. Through investigation with my home builder it came out that Ply-Gem were indeed responsible as the window came as an already glazed pre-sealed unit therefore it was them that shimmed it incorrectly. **** the manager from ********** phoned and apologized and accepted responsibility and said it was their fault after talking to my homebuilder. But he wanted me to take a window and I said I doon't need a window it has been replaced. He then said well I can't give cash how about a gift card? I replied yes and said a prepaid **** would work. This is when my calls became unanwered yet again. After another week or so **** finally picked up and said ******* *********************** will be dealing with this from now on. I have left numerous messages for him and have never heard from him. My question is when the responsibility has been accepted why did it have to be passed on yet again. Like a house fire is not hard enough to deal with.Cornerstone Building Brands

We apologize for any confusion that our warranty may have caused with your window. Our warranty is time limited on issues like the ones that you stated in your review. As a company policy, Ply Gem does not give out gift cards or prepaid visas as compensation for any services we provide. If you would like to discuss the warranty limitations in more detail, please contact a customer service representative at ********************** at ************, and they would be more than happy to assist in this matter.Review fromStephen S

1 starToo bad one star is the minimum rating. Plygem doesn't deserve even one star. April 15, 2021 Submitted a warranty request on 3 windows which failed. Received the programmed stock email response. May 15, 2021. Sent another note to customer service. No response. Since I was selling my house, I wanted to have windows in good condition. I replaced them myself. Two were fixed transom windows which were very high off the ground. Each window took me 8 hours to replace. November 2, 2021. Plygem assigns a case number. They indicate that they have a lot of cases. November 2021. I wrote back indicated I repaired the windows and sold the house. Using certified mail, I submitted the bills for the window glass only. ( $253) I thought that was very fair and a compromise. No response from Plygem since November 2021. I think a state investigator and/or an investigative reporter needs to look into the warranty business practices of Plygem.Review fromEllen M

I ordered 7 windows on Sept. 30 and was told delivery would be 3-4 months. After 6 months they finally came to install the windows, but we were told by the installers that they only had 4 of the 7 windows. No one at the office could find our missing 3 windows and we were told they would have to be reordered. At that point I set the installation date for the remaining 3 windows, for today. Yesterday I called to confirm and again, no one knew anything. The windows were "supposed to have been on the truck" and "they hadn't heard they weren't so they probably were". Their "system hadn't been updated" more than a full business day after the delivery to them. This morning the installers arrived and advised that they only had 2 out of 3 of our windows. Of course, they arrived at 8 am and the office doesn't open till 9 am. And based on my experience yesterday, they will not answer the phone or respond to my voicemails till late afternoon at best. So nine months after ordering, our order still isn't complete. Supply chain issues do not explain the lack of internal communication or the appalling lack of communication with me, the customer. The product is wonderful and the installation team is great, but the administration of this company is a total mess.Cornerstone Building Brands

Nice sentiments but I'm interested in actions. It's been over 2 weeks and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME, despite these assurances and despite my having left several voice messages. Your business needs to get its act together. And get me my final window.Review fromBrad L

1 starWe have had a warranty claim submitted on 3/30/2022. This was for a number of windows whose seals have failed and were seriously fogged. Ply Gem assigned a claim number on 3/30/2022 and to date no response from the company on status of the claim. Called Ply Gem on 4/19/2022 and they informed me they received the online lifetime warranty claim and to call back in a month. Called their warranty department today and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. What kind of customer service is this? Going on 3 months.Review fromChristine S

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered windows and sliding glass door for a renovation about 1 year ago. They malfunctioned since the minute they were installed. The sliding glass door looked like it had been through hell and back when it was installed. We are still waiting for the replacement windows to be serviced since they still do not work and waiting for our siding door to be replaced. I have reached out to **** ******* who Is the field service coordinator and ******* ***** who is apparently the customer service Supervisor, but still can’t get anyone to give answers or updates. It’s been AWFUL. do yourself a favor and do not use Plygem products.Cornerstone Building Brands

I signed a contract with Brock Windows for front doors in July 2021 that were to be installed within 8 weeks to 16 weeks. It is now almost one year and still no word on when I will receive installation of my doors. I have paid a deposit of $2, 060. I have called them various times and left messages. I was promised installation two weeks ago, which they cancelled at the last minute. I am still waiting for a date for the installation. ************************************************

Sharon, we have appreciated your patience while we anticipated the arrival of your entry door system. Ongoing supply chain issues have affected our industry, much like other sectors, and we apologize for the undue inconveniences this caused for your project completion. We understand your installation was completed on June the 2nd, in which you stated your satisfaction with the installation and disappointment with the delay.
We appreciate you entrusting us with your home, and we wish you the very best.
Thank you,

I have a two year old Ply Gem sliding glass door. Last May I noticed the ultraviolet sealant that was applied in between the two panes of glass started coming off leaving unsightly blotches on the slider. It is getting worse with time. I called my builder who sent someone out to take a look at it who then contacted the supplier ******* ****** ** ******* New York. It took them six months to get a replacement slider from the manufacturer due to COVID. ******* Lumber said it would cost them a fortune in labor to install the replacement and asked me to send them pictures that they could forward on to Ply Gem to have the labor costs covered. Ply Gem refused to cover the labor cost stating it was beyond their one year warranty. This damage is an obvious defect during the manufacturing process and I don’t feel I should have to pay for there substandard production.Cornerstone Building Brands

I called Ply Gem yesterday as per their request. I called the number provided by Ply Gem to their customer service department. I spoke with customer service and she had no idea why I was calling and who I was supposed to talk to. She said she would have her supervisor call me which he never did.
