    This company continues to pull false information regarding criminal background. We are losing out on time, money, and more importantly a home.

    Genuine Data Services does not prepare consumer reports, but rather furnishes public records data to consumer reporting agencies who prepare consumer reports.     I filled out a rental application and they ran a background check on me. The background check came back with a felony case on my record which is absolutely wrong information. The website that they went through was onesite, and the criminal site that they use to check background was Genuine Data Service LLC. The middle initial and date of birth is not even close to mine. The case #CR10-18-10628 the name is ******** * **** and the date of birth does not match mine.

    Genuine Data Services furnishes raw public records data in bulk to consumer reporting agencies.  Genuine Data Services does not prepare or supply consumer reports for employment or tenant screening purposes. To dispute information contained in a consumer report, please contact the consumer reporting agency who provided the report to the employer, landlord or rental property. In addition, you may contact us directly at [email protected] we will promptly investigate your concerns.
