      Worst ************* ever. Within this year alone my trash has not been picked up on 4 different occasions, they won't reimburse me for those times they did not get picked up. You try and call their customer service to get a recording and sit on hold for 10 minutes then they hang up on you and you can't ever talk to anyone. They want you to report each time your trash hasn't been picked up by it is hard to do when no one will ever answer the phones. I want my money back

      We cancelled our service with *** & had no signed contract, our last pickup was last November when we switched over to a less expensive service. They continue to send us bills & add on a late fee every month, it is now *********** wont let us cancel & wont pick up their dumpsters. They have terrible customer service & dont appreciate their past customers!

      Pay bill faithfully, lucky to get trash picked up once a month, customer service is a joke and higher *** don't ever call back!!! Worst service ever

      If I could leave zero stars, I would. ***** ******, from GFL Environmental office in *********. ***** has zero customer service skills. I run a small flower shop and when I took over in December, my first pickup was skipped and I was charged a fee for them "not being able to pick up the recycling". I let it go, because I was planning to cancel the service anyway. When I tried to cancel, he tried to convince me to keep the service, because "He gave the previous owner a good rate, and if you cancel now, but want to get our service again, I won't be able to give you the same rate." I still cancelled, and despite having no contract with them, he charged me for two pick **** a $200 removal, a $119 fuel surcharge and a $40 environmental surcharge , plus taxes. No contact since we complained about the arbitrary charges, but they did send us to collections.Never deal with them; you're better off taking your own garbage to the dump, or burning your recyclables, if you are able to.

      They keep leaving the garbage at my house when I put it out every two weeks. The scum bag garbage guys keep throwing a green sticker on the bags so they dont have to throw it out. They dont bother to cut the bag open or untie it a bit to see if their assumptions are correct, they just simply throw a green sticker on it and leave it.

      My experience with GFL Matrec was extremely frustrating. When I decided to cancel my contract, I was met with unreasonable cancellation fees and pressured to stay. It genuinely felt like I was being blackmailed just for wanting to leave.On top of that, their prices have been skyrocketing with no real justification. For the cost they charge, the service simply isnt worth it especially when there are other providers offering better rates and clearer terms.I went through with the cancellation and found a much better alternative. I would not recommend GFL Matrec to anyone. Their customer service, pricing, and contract practices are unfair and feel like a trap.

      They took my money and wouldn't do the job. In spite of a receipt and confirmation number, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and just do their job. They then tried to charge me even more money, on the phone, for a job they've still yet to perform. Absolutely worthless company. They don't do the job, and they don't take any responsibility for their mistakes. They just take your money. I don't understand how they're allowed to operate like this.

      Do not use GFL Env for any service or enter any contract with them. I have never dealt with a company that has this little respect for their customers. Their customer service is horrible, a better description would be non-existent. They charged me for services I am not getting and it is impossible to cancel your contract. I even went to my local branch in person and still have no resolution. They literally have 1000 one star reviews...

      This is the worst garbage collection company I have ever encountered you pay ahead for services and then if you disconnect your services because youre moving, you have to show proof that youre moving to get your money back. I would not recommend them to anyone.

      Would give them a zero if I could. This company always has a miss pick up at my house almost every week. Than I have to wait on the phone for 30 to 40 minutes just to be told we will have you on a missed route pickup. And they never show.
