      We had a rental in ******** Spring for 1 year and used Rupiblic Services for our trash service. Set up was great, and the first 6 months we great. Then they chnages pick up times from 4-5 pm to 6 am in the morning in an area with bears, so trash can not be put outside overnight.Then, when moving and canceling, you have to jump through many hoops. You have to call to cancel, cannot be done online. THEN, you have to cancel auto payments online, which I did, and then I was charged again a week later, so thanks for stealing our money. THEN you have to pay a pick up fee for the cans which CANNOT be done online OR by phone. Instead, it HAS to be done by mail?? In 2025?? Needless to say, they are absolutely terrible when you have to move, which already a stressful time. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

      Skipped our road on garbage day and refuse to come back to get it. On more than one occasion they only pick up part of the trash, despite it being in appropriate receptacles. I was unable to call as phone is busy for hours and then goes to a voicemail. Attempted to use online complaint form, it took more than 48 business hours for a reply that simply said sorry, we are trying to get through online complaints please keep waiting. When someone did call back they informed me too bad, we will not come back out as you didn't report it within 24 hours.

      If I could leave 0 stars I would. Signed up for new service. Did not pick up trash on scheduled day even though I called and was assured they were still out and would be coming to pick up. 2nd week exact same story! Beginning of week 3 - called to cancel service with a now 2 weeks full trash can and told 3-5 days for pickup - to leave can at end of driveway. It has now been a full week since canceling and stinky can is still here! Never ever again GFL!!!

      Looks like Im not the only person dealing with this company. You pay for a service that nothing happens. Two months they have been horrible, the past 3 weeks no pick up at all. Ive called 4 times, nothing gets resolved. Apparently they dont want residential customers anymore. *** should notify us if they cant keep up the contract. They cant cancels us or refund us during the quarter.Ive been a customer for 5 years. I feel like they would do more to wanna keep my business. Im still waiting for manager management to call me back .

      Do not use GFL for business dumpster use. They will raise the pricing and not pick up on schedule. Employees try their best but company is mis-managed. Support a local family owned trash pick up.**********

      The biggest thanks to *** for always being so helpful and accommodating! Our neighbour good driver is sensational (he drives truck number 41) and is the kindest, friendliest person and so professionally wonderful!

      Why are they getting paid? The truck just passed the neighbors housebc the person on the back couldnt keep up. Neighbors running telling truck the left garbagethey just pulled off anyway. Two days later trash still here all in the street. Called ombudsman, the said 24 hrs is 48 hours. Absolutely no help. We pay for trash yearly and to be told by trash worker cant pick up trash because the truck is too fast is unacceptable.

      Worst ************* ever. Within this year alone my trash has not been picked up on 4 different occasions, they won't reimburse me for those times they did not get picked up. You try and call their customer service to get a recording and sit on hold for 10 minutes then they hang up on you and you can't ever talk to anyone. They want you to report each time your trash hasn't been picked up by it is hard to do when no one will ever answer the phones. I want my money back

      We cancelled our service with *** & had no signed contract, our last pickup was last November when we switched over to a less expensive service. They continue to send us bills & add on a late fee every month, it is now *********** wont let us cancel & wont pick up their dumpsters. They have terrible customer service & dont appreciate their past customers!
