    If I could give this 0 stars I would. When we signed up for this we thought it would be an investment in our future and we would take our family.on trips each summer. However, then covid happened and things get tough, my husband and I couldnt start a family and have been unable to use it due to our work schedules. In the few times we wanted to plan a trip over the past few years, it has been beyond difficult to reach someone over the phone to ask questions about events and schedule a trip that we have just given up trying. We have only done day trips where no scheduling was needed. During covid we got charged extra cleaning fees when we hadn't even used the facilities and our maintenance fees keep increasing when we have never even stayed overnight. Now going through our finances, we cannot afford the maintenance fees and were told there is no way to cancel. We already trued paying off the main membership with a personal loan but we still couldn't cancel it. We were told you have to find someone to take over the membership. I do not want to burden any friends or family members with maintenance fees that keep increasing over time with no cutoff limit. We want to must cancel and get out but are trapped and can't. Even when we cannot afford the maintenance fees. My husband is out if work due to an injury and I am currently pregnant and will potentially have to take unpaid maternity leave from work. Leaving us with little income and no way to keep throwing money at a campground membership that we haven't used and we can't cancel and get any money back. We did not realize that your fees just keep increasing each year which make it harder and harder to keep and makes it not worth the money for the day or two you actually can spend per year using the membership if you are not retired.

    Wow, where to start? So I know all about time shares, and this is just that. They are a time share trap. We received 21 free days from this place when we purchased our camper. We did our research on them and decided before we went there that we were 100% positive we were not going to get sucked in. We arrived at ********** Battlefield location and let the salesman **** go through his thing. He said it would be about 45 minutes and ended up almost 3 hours. At the end we told him that we were not interested and he almost threw a fit like a child. Acted all pissy and gave us our 21 day pass, which by the way is a joke and we will absolutely never use it. So some back story on **** the salesman. Aside from using curse words in EVERY sentence, he was very rude and borderline racist. He literally said that public campgrounds ( which we like to stay at) are filled with pedophiles and drug dealers. Then he starts saying how public campgrounds draw all types of ethnic people that are loud and untrustworthy. WOW! This scam is not for us as we don't want to be part of that type of people that look at others that way, on top of that the $8,000.00-$16,000.00 price tag and $800 a year in dues. Beware not to get sucked into this.

    I got this a few months back and i realized it was a mistake and wanted to cancel my policy when i got it the guy said i could cancel and that there wouldnt be any fee. And when i called and got ahold of someone they told me it would be **** to cancel and I wouldnt get any of the money back i put in to it. I never got to see the paperwork after i signed up they messed up my email address and stuff and when i talk to the lady about cancellation she was very rude

    My membership is paid off, & now after it being paid in full, & maintenance fees are paid until ****, we can never get a reservation. Every time we try to schedule they state their full booked, Yet when I arrive to look theres 20+ vacant ****** ***** always get the excuse that the members are coming in.. Lies is all you ever get. Or harassed. About paying More $$ for **** maintenance fees or upgrading your membership. Why would I upgrade if I could never get in now. Dont bother purchasing a TRA its worthless.

We see only 2 incoming calls this season and we have made attempts to assist you in getting reservations and have not been able to make contact. It is our desire to keep as a member utilizing your membership as intended. Please contact us for further assistance with a reservation. Should you run into lack of availability, please advise our team that you would like to be added to the wait list as cancellation occur and wait list are cleared. We wanted to make sure you were aware of that option.Your question about the **** and **** maintenance fees was a promotion offer to prepay and freeze the rate for those two should you desire to take us up on that opportunity. Please note that was a limited time offer which has since expired July 31, 2023.Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at ************** or ************************************************************* We have added additional ways to make reservations this year through our Travel Resorts of America website through live chat where representatives are there to assist with immediate bookings.     We purchased contract in 2017. Something always came up and we moved to another state in 2020 so we never used any of these resorts in the 6 yrs.we had it. My husband died in May 2022 and I had to sell our truck and camper to pay bills. I am 76 and living off SS so I wrote asking to get out of contract ( attached death certificate). They called and told me to pay 4 yrs of fees or sell contract to get it cancelled. I told them I cannot afford this but they claim it is a lifetime membership of 20 yrs but nowhere on contract is 20 yrs stated. I have figured that we had paid over $15,000 during 6 yrs and I refuse to pay anymore. They are stating without paying the fees it will be sent to collections which hurts personal credit rating. No sympathy!!!

    They charged me 857 dollars on my credit card. When I called them they said it was a mistake and would reimburse me. Nice business move. Grrr Im glad I checked my statement

Accidentally, our portfolio servicer processed an auto payment at the end of the month on your account. I can assure you that I saw it reversed on your account. You are set up for a quarterly auto payment and this should not have happened. I will reach out to further research so this does not occur again.     I want to commend *********************** for being the best representative for Travel Resorts of America. She treated me with respect and patience. I was having a hard time getting my situation resolved and **** came to my rescue. I wish everyone would have the patience and professionalism that she showed me. *********************** is The Best!

    We received a statement for the first time since TRA bought Midwest Resorts, however, as our member fees are paid for 5 years; we are unsure of what it is for. Which is why we called the billing department number on the statement and left 6 voicemails now over a 4 week span. Why is this acceptable customer service for this company. Do you not take pride in your business or value your customers? We have been heartbroken with the treatment of us since TRA took over. We definitely regret being in bed with TRA compared to our previous relationship with MOR.

    This company is awful!! They use partial false advertisement. We just bought a ** Camper and received a certificate for 21 days free at any of their 11 resorts. That's all it said, no expiration date, no info on what we have to do to get it. A few days after we got the ** home, we get a call from one of their reps who was super nice by the way, and said in order to get it we had to either pay $99 for 3 days and 2 nights at a resort, which we would get refunded to ** in a gift card, and that would allow ** until June **** to use the 21 days or we could go to their site about 3 hours away for a 90 min tour and that would allow ** to use the 21 days until June of ****. We had to do this within 4 days or lose the 21 days. We just bought a ** that we had to put a down payment on and don't have the money or time to do either one of those options in that short of a time span. Ridiculous!!
