We understand how frustrating this situation may be and appreciate the opportunity to clarify our decision.After thoroughly reviewing your *************** Contract and the details submitted for your claim, we determined that the *** portion of the repair is not covered under the contract. The *** failure resulted from pass-through seals allowing oil to travel down the harness and enter the ***, causing failure due to contamination. Since the *** is an electrical component highly sensitive to moisture and fluids, this type of failure falls outside the coverage parameters of the *********** outlined in your *************** Contract under Section III: General Provisions Coverages and Covered Components, *** coverage does not extend to failures caused by contamination, wiring harness issues, or any related electrical system malfunction.However, we want to reassure you that we have approved the other repairs that are covered under your *************** Contract. I get most of my work done at this shop, and never have I had such a hard time getting this setup and approved as we did this time. It was crazy and very time consuming. I didn't appreciate it, and I know the shop manager didn't appreciate it, as he runs a very busy shop. But in the end when we got a different person to handle my case it took right off and we finished up in no time. Just wish we could have got him sooner. While you are welcome to use any servicer, working with one unfamiliar with our repair process can occasionally result in delays, as was the case here.Once the servicer submitted all the required documentation to verify the failure, the claim was processed promptly. Good communication and service with sales *** and plan admin! Working with your warranty/tech support and info people is not so good! It takes a long time for return communications and rudeness along with requiring a lot of information and at times needless info, when filing a warranty claim and process. As if you do not want to cover items as in any excuse to fail the claim, ugh very frustrating. It may be the warranty shop or both?National Truck Protection Co., Inc.

When my truck broke down, my initial thought was fear and many other things, being that it is the middle of December and coming off a not so great year in trucking. But once I made the dreaded call to *** as I was waiting for the tow truck to arrive things started to ease. The claim *** had explained everything to me very quickly and emailed me a list of all the shops that were near me(**********). I called one of the preferred shops (Cummins Sales and Service) in ****** ** 30 mins away. The man (*****) from the service **** insured me that he was very aware of how to properly work with *** and that he would have me in the shop hours later. I learned that all you need to do, was do every step that was outlined to me A-Z in the *** email and it was relatively easy and quick. From tow, to getting into the shop, diag, getting the approval, ordering all the parts, put the driveshaft backup, ***air, tested, and keys back to me was less than 3 days of missed work. This was much less than I thought it was going to take. My Tubo,my Actuator, were ***laced with OEM Parts, several hoses ***laced,radiator flushed, engine power washed, forced regen, and road test was $14K my half $6K. I purchased this policy through the company I am leased to (********) and when I added up all the numbers....I definitely got my monies worth. Thank God I had this policy. This company works harder finding reasons to not cover you. Spending ****** for warranties that do nothing is ridiculous. Spending extra money on an aftertreatment system warranty that you guessed it doesn't cover anything with the aftertreatment system because they find every excuse possible.
