2 starsI ordered a $200 tool in September of 2024. It stated that I could expect it to be delivered between October 14-18th. By October 18th I checked the tracking information and it stated that it hasn’t been processed yet. I emailed customer service, and they told me they don’t have the tool and won’t be able to get it until late November. Why let me order it and tell me when to expect it if you don’t actually have it.? Furthermore, they said they will keep the order open and will ship it when they get it which seems to be preventing me from canceling the order because in their system they never charged me yet. I’m glad I haven’t been charged yet but I need to buy the tool from somewhere else and don’t want to be forced to get it from them when they finally ship it! Let me cancel it so I can buy from someone else!!!Review fromNanette B

1 starOrdered item on the 7th and said it would be here by the 11th. Called today and said warehouse never got order! I will never buy anything from them again. 1 starI would never order from this company again. They shipped out my order separately and never shipped part of it. I tried to reach out to them on their website and by phone but they don't respond back. This is very frustrating, considering the tool that they did ship is completely useless without the rest of my order. Buy your tools from anywhere else!Review fromBrody F

I agree this company is a SCAM!!! I ordered a couple of tool boxes from this company on 07/04/2024, and they canceled my order WITHOUT any notice within the same day. On 07/24/2024, I found that my credit card was charged by ACME TOOLS without any notice too. I left them a message on their website questioning why it happened and refunded my money to my CC and I haven't heard back from them. Based on my research, TrustPilot.com has tons of reviews stating that ACME TOOLS has been doing this kind of scam for a long time (Charging customers after they secretly cancel orders.

This company is a scam. I ordered a tool months ago which they are now shipping. I asked that my order be cancelled and they refused even though they showed the product had not left their warehouse. I have no need for the tool after months of waiting and no warning they were now filling the order. Avoid this company to save your money and hassles.Acme Tools

We received and shipped out the package at 7:54am on 7/8/24 the customer contacted us at 9:05 on 7/8/24 it had already been packed in a truck and moving when the customer contacted us. it was delivered at 10:47 on 7/9/24. if customer would still like to return this we would be happy to return the item for free. please contact customer support at ************ option 3.

I’m not sure if another big distribution company is leaving all the bad reviews, but I ordered my dewalt metal saw on Friday, (a little skeptical since I’d never ordered from here before), but I got my saw the following Monday for an extra 15 dollars, (Kinda amazed actually when it showed up). I did have a little issue getting my card to pass security a few times, but after linking PayPal, it worked perfectly. I would order again from here and not even use Amazon for tools anymore. The price was cheaper than anywhere else. (That’s why I was skeptical). Oh and the customer service was shockingly great. She was super helpful and probably the most professional person I’d ever talked to on the phone. Go thru all the reviews and there are some of us who got a great experience but some did not. But as a very skeptical purchaser, I have also been scammed on Amazon and EBay so I totally expected to have to cancel my card purchase from this site. It was relieving that it wasn’t a scam site and I didn’t need to cancel my purchase. There is a scam clone site so watch out for it. Only type in Acmetool.com. It is a legit site.Acme Tools

1 starOrdered an item kit on sale and the photo clearly showed 2 x batteries for the tool. After not receiving two batteries as advertised I contacted support. It was acknowledged the advertisement was not correct. No offer to refund or correct the situation was made. I would not have made the purchase if the items had been properly represented. Misleading me the customer into buying items that won’t come and then not making any attempt to rectify is just poor business and they didn’t need to lose a customer over this order but they have. Advertising fraud doesn’t seem to be a concern of this company. Avoid.Review fromChris I

1 starI made a order on 11/27 no word until I called 3 weeks later they said sorry one of the items was back ordered but it was past the date the email said it would be in. Got my package finally but was missing the free starter kit that came with my m12 radio I bought callled today and the First Lady was super nasty with me and pretty much said tuff luck because I added a promo code that popped up while I was checking out that it takes all other promo offers off and she said good bye. I called back talked to a nicer lady this time but still told me Im not going to get my starter kit in a nicer way so now I’m out 100$ and got no battery for my radio very disappointed and will never do business with them again. I will also be contacting Milwaukee and letting them know that they are not doing there promotions as advertised
