I tried placing an order and was denied. No reason on my part, they say it's their security system and they said nothing can be done. So basically I'm unable to purchase from them according to the customer service supervisor. What a horrible way to conduct business!!

We were unable to verify the order with the card members information that was entered. There is another level of security we use to help safeguard our customer's payment information. This s an automated system.

1 starWorst experience I've had I ordered a couple of tools 11/27/23 they sent me an email couple hours later saying they received my order and the next day I got an email that 1 of the tools I ordered was on its way but the rest was still on hold so I waited about a week and finally emailed them and there first response was just a cookie cutter message that was not helpful at all and then a couple hours after they sent that email they sent another email telling me actually your payment didn't go through so I would need to call and update it so I did and they lady on the phone told me they will send an email if the payment went through or not so I told her thank you hung up and thought it was over but no never got my email confirming my payment so I emailed them again the next day to ask if it went through and they said yes it did and they will be shipping my order out soon it has since been another week no updates or anything and when you look up the order it says it's still open don't waist your time or money with this company they might be a good store in person but online they suck and should just stopReview fromMichael C

We are very sorry for any confusion. Acme Tools is a unique company that allows customers to order items that are not in stock. Your order has items that are available to order. This means, the item needs to be ordered with the manufacturer and is currently not in stock.

1 starExtremely disappointed with the company. Put in a big order, including some items I really needed. All was in stock when ordered. Got a shipment of one minor item in a few days. Contacted CS to figure out where the remaining items were and they said they'd ship the next day. a week later, now several items are out of stock, still hasn't shipped. 1 starI ordered a propane heater and it arrived broken. I called and Acme said that is now Mt. Heater and to call them. Mr. Heater said that Acme should have sent a new one. Mr. Heater sent me the new parts like I’m a propane repair man but I replaced the broken infrared plaques with my best knowledge. It’s working but always in the back Of my mind. 1 starRefused to refund tax for an item purchased (we are tax exempt and proved this). They shipped the order, said we are under a guest account and cannot refund. Customer service kept reiterating the same statement, didn't own up to the issue and stated their "system" cannot refund on a gues account. Udderly terrible experience.
