Shady marketing tactics. their sales price is the actual full price on any other site. they make up random list prices so they can pretend to have it on sale.

The list of products offered to a retailer by a manufacturer or distributor includes the list price as a pre-promotional regular price. We did a review of our list prices and were not able to identify any errors. If there is a specific item please let us know so we can make it right. We do our best to offer the lowest prices available. Placed a ~$250 order for Milwaukee Packout drawers, both came extremely beat up with poor packaging. Acme is quite the hassle to deal with. They said they'd offer a credit to keep the damaged items of a whole $10 not even a 10% or 15% discount. Instead just please "fix" the boxes and mail them back to usAcme Tools

We will work with the manufacturer and our shipping department regarding packaging of this item for the future. Damages are not typical, if they do occur we want to do what we can to make it right. Hey everyone make sure you are reviewing the right acmetools website this better business review link is for acmetools.com but there is also a acmetoolsonline.com and it doesn't not look like a legitimate website. If you look at these reviews you can see that they respond to some and not others and that's because some of these bad reviews are for the acmetoolsonline store. So because acmetools.com is a great website be sure you are placing a review about the right store.Acme Tools

I had good experience with this company. I bought DeWalt miter saw+stand bundle for great Black Friday price, while other traders were sold out yet. It was delayed because of backorder and took about a month, but I received my tools finally. Good costumer support and great prices.Acme Tools

5 starsFirst time buying from Acme tools. I purchased a Dewalt 20v 4 1/2 saw on Cyber Monday Nov 28th. The web site stated you would get the sale price + $10 off along with a free starter kit of a 3ah battery with charger, The website stated that both were on back order and would ship in 3 to 5 weeks. I searched many websites for this deal and not only did Acme have the best price but no other website was giving the free starter kit a $119 value. I placed my order and received both the saw and starter kit today 17 Dec. They also included a $20 off $100 coupon on other dewalt purchases. I spoke with customer service a few time about the shipping and both times they were polite and very helpful. I am extremely happing with my purchase and customer support. I will definitely be purchasing more tools from them. Most people only take the time to put out a bad review when they are not happy. More people need to also leave a good review when thing go as expected or better than expected. Shout out to the Acme team. They made my Christmas.Review fromDon C

I paid to return this pair of batteries unopened. I did everything they asked to ensure I got a full refund. They said my credit card company declined my refund, and my CC company said that was impossible. They told my needed to initial a Chargeback. A chargeback is a dispute, but no one is disputing anything. They agreed to a refund, so what is the dispute?To start a chargeback, you must supply your credit card company with supporting documentation about purchasing the item, what went wrong, email correspondence, and tracking information. This is a deliberate attempt to make it difficult to customers to get their money back. They're a bunch of crooks!Acme Tools

We sincerely apologize. We ask that you work with your financial institute. Unfortunately the bank is declining the refund. We are provided limited information when a credit card comes back declined. 1 starOrdered a tool with battery, got the package without the battery. I reached out and they were not interested in making it right, they said return it and rebuy the tool after the sale was done. Then they responded to an earlier complaint but never followed through. Terrible company and will never buy from again! Basically robbed me of a $200 battery!Review fromE

Purchaced a few items from them, everything seems ok and shipping was reasonable (a little ofer $20).
Next day my wife asks me why I was charged $248 when I told her $127. I checked my digital receipt and the shipping was not the $20 I saw before buying but $120...I called their customer support and was told they would stop shipment and cancel my order.
Within 30 minutes I recieved an email saying my order has been shipped...

1 starI made a purchase from this company totaling $ 147.10 after checking my account I noticed I was charged 4 different charges. I was charged $147.10 twice a charge for $62.06 and a charge of $1.00 after contacting them twice about this issue it has still not been fixed.. this was my first and last purchase from this company. Very poor business in my opinion. I'm curious how many people may have ordered from them and did not notice they were missing their hard earned money
