1 starHave been ordered most of my power tools thru AcmeTools.com since last several years. Not sure why it took them a long time to send to me (especially the promo items never in stock).
i.e. my last order on 03/21/2023 and today of this review 05/01/2023 and I still have NOT receiving my order nor any communication from AcmeTools. NO communication, NO receiving ordered items.
Many orders happened before and so late to ship out to me. If you are have the same problems like me please voice your experience here so potential shopper know before they spend their money here. I definitely have enough from acemetools.comReview fromQuinn D

Asked to cancel and order 5 min after placing because I wanted to subsitute another tool for the one purchased. They refused and said my only option is to pay for return of the item when it arrives. When I called Fedex, the package hasn't even been given to them yet. Forcing me to pay return shipping (on a item that hasn't actually been shipped out) because you don't have processes in place for changed orders is bad customer experience. I can't imagine working with this company if there was a real problem with my order as it's clear they don't care about the customer.

We do our best to fulfill orders as quickly as possible so changes are sometimes unable to be made.Unfortunately, our records show the cancellation request was received after the order had already shipped. Once tracking information has been provided no changes can be made. This means the item has already been loaded on the shipping carriers truck and is on its way to the next shipping hub. 5 starsThere are two acme tool websites. One is a clone. If the price is ridiculously low you are probably at the bogus website.
The real website is acmetools.com
The clone is acmetoolsshop.com. Note the Addition of the word shop in the clone address. The transaction appears as Peter ******* on PayPal.
I’ve reached out to PayPal through report a problem and am awaiting a reply. The clone site has invalid phone number and email address. I’m out $51 but am a little smarter nowReview fromChrystal D

Ordered a 6-thousand-dollar Generac generator and was damaged beyond use during shipping and refuse to send a replacement since its past the 30 days. We are building a home and it's taken more than 30 days to install. I contacted the shipping company and they even stated that Acme could replace it and file a claim with them. HORRIBLE customer service. I love how their website states "family owned and operated", yeah right, I am third generation business owner, and I would NEVER do this to a customer, especially one who drops 6 grand with my company. I will be seeking legal counsel and contacting my credit card company.Acme Tools

We are very sorry for the issues encountered. We have worked with the customer since this review. This is not a typical situation, and we are very sorry this happened. The damage was reported 5 months after purchase, To file a claim with a shipping company, it needs to be within 3 days of delivery. First online review ever! Just got off the phone with Acme Tool. Very disappointing. Bad company!!! I ordered a Dewalt batter and hedger. They sent the battery right away but the hedger was backordered . I wanted them together. Every month they would say the hedger is a few weeks away. The last email said 8 months away. I asked to cancel my hedger order and return the battery. They will not take the battery back now because it has been over 90 days!!! Why did you send me the battery in the first place without the hedger. I wanted them together. Acme Tool - NEVER AGAIN!Acme Tools

Not correct.I ordered the battery and the ****** together initially (please check your records. It is a fact).When I was told of the delay, I canceled the ****** order and was going to return the battery, I was then told that the ****** may come in in a few weeks. So I did not return the battery, and I re-ordered the ******.I was sent periodic updates that the ****** was on back order and I should get it soon. The last email said the ****** would not be in until October of this year. So I canceled the order and tried to return the battery, which I never wanted separately from my first order and they would not take it back.Please re-check my order status and consider taking the battery backM. Acme tools has been such a disappointment! I ordered something from their website and They took my money a week ago. Since then I have had 0 info on shipping. I called 3 times and even spoke to a supervisor who was just as clueless as all the other customer service employees! Yes their customer service is a joke. So far I only heard we can try to reach out to the manufacturer, we cant issue refund until they confirm, we don’t know when, we can try again tomorrow.
So far I have received nothing and they refuse to issue a refund so I can order from somewhere else!Acme Tools

We are very sorry to hear your experience was not what you had expected. Acme Tools is a unique company that allows customers to purchase items that are not in-stock. Our records show this was an out of stock item, it was purchased as a backorder and expected to ship in 3-5 weeks.
When a customer orders a backordered item, our team gets right to work with the manufacturer. We try to obtain the item as quickly as possible. With us having to work with the manufacturer, we have to verify where they are at in the fulfillment process before we can cancel the order. Although we show 3-5 weeks on the order confirmation, that is an estimate and the order may have shipped.

Shady marketing tactics. their sales price is the actual full price on any other site. they make up random list prices so they can pretend to have it on sale.Acme Tools

Placed a ~$250 order for Milwaukee Packout drawers, both came extremely beat up with poor packaging. Acme is quite the hassle to deal with. They said they'd offer a credit to keep the damaged items of a whole $10 not even a 10% or 15% discount. Instead just please "fix" the boxes and mail them back to usAcme Tools

Hey everyone make sure you are reviewing the right acmetools website this better business review link is for acmetools.com but there is also a acmetoolsonline.com and it doesn't not look like a legitimate website. If you look at these reviews you can see that they respond to some and not others and that's because some of these bad reviews are for the acmetoolsonline store.
