    Love everything about this site until I encountered Vail Auctions in Pasco, WA.

    They put super adhesive labels on rare items which destroyed the packaging. When I called to find out why, the owner lives in another state and the man in charge, Jack, is stuck handling everything with every answer being, “well I have to ask the owner” it has taken months to get an answer.

    They made me pay for shipping to and from and now are avoiding me for the refund.

    Every HiBid auction has been great so it’s unfortunate that this rating came after dealing with Vail.

    Still waiting on information on my bid on confederate note. I was the highest bidder and won the bid.But as of 12-17-24 7:35 pm haven’t heard anything about payment and pickup date. Definitely have a lot of different auctions on your site. I try to keep my search’s close to home.Will definitely check back in the future for upcoming events.??

    I recently bid on Lot #224 (Sharper Image Drone) in an auction from A Team Auctions in Texas. The auction was to end Sunday Dec. 15th around 8pm or 9pm I think. I placed my bid at $10 with about an hour left. The last time I checked on it,it had 45 minutes left and I was winning. The auction is over now but I can't find any trace of my bid on the auction. I never received an email from HiBid saying I had been outbid like it usually does but got no notice of winning either. I'm just wondering how I can go find out if I won it or if I was outbid. Thanks for your help.

    The fees and shipping charges are high for some auctioneers. I get you have the fees in the terms and they put to call a shipping company for a quote… I buy high volume. I can’t do that everytime.
    Look at Goodwill Auctions. You get immediate shipping quote by clicking one button, you clearly see fees.
    One auction, for a 10.00 poster, the shipping company called for payment… they wanted 48.00 to ship. A music poster can be shipped USPS MEDIA MAIL for about 3-4.00.
    Unless this site improves clarity , I will not be bidding anymore.
