I applied for a savings account on FNBO's online subsidiary, Milli Bank. After submitting my information, I received an email that said that I had been denied, but no reason was given and no opportunity was provided to appeal or to ask for clarification with information. There is no real customer support options, so I feel that this was actually a blessing. I can't imagine how bad their customer support must be.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

IMHO, stay away.
If they suspect you are a fraudulent person, you will get no help. Even if you actually are the customer on the account. They give just first name's to protect themselves as they get every personal detail from you. If you question why they need all of that info, they will hang up on you and when you call back and ask for a supervisor or manager, they will not transfer you. This is their policy! No I am not kidding. They will "block" you out of your account and have ZERO record of who did it. All because of a new two-step auth. that they switched to without getting auth. from the actual person on the account. You are nothing in the eyes of the world to this co.
I did not let this go and was able to get my situation resolved thanks to two very helpful managers!!!
It is in my humble opinion that all accounts be closed and find a co. that doesn't look at their customers as criminals.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I took advantage of a lower Interest transfer. They sent the payment amount to the wrong place. That place cashed the check and I have been paying Interest and payments on two credit cards for six months now. They are not willing to locate who cashed it, so as of now, I am making payments to two places and have yet to see the $3600 I was supposed to get.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

As an Amtrak customer, I was offered a credit card with FNBO that would give me reward points towards Amtrak. There was a membership fee of over $100 per year but I thought 20,000 points would pay off & was worth it. I pay bills by mail, and always give 10 days & mail from the Post Office. Every month though, I was incurring around $30 in late fees. I called & asked what the problem was, & if I should send bills certified mail. There was no explanation & no reversal of fees. Over the holidays, a bill never came, & unfortunately, I didn't notice. When the next one came the fees were outrageous. This time they said the address had somehow become truncated & I'd still have to pay the late fees. At that point, I paid the balance over the phone, & after one more charge went through, called a few days later to pay it & cancel the card. I have this funny feeling they will find something else to charge me for, or some error I made in closing out the card, even though I checked repeatedly it was complete. This is my record of what happened. I wound up paying more in fees than purchases.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I always pay my balance off on the 3rd the statement not due till the 11 th . I received a February statement for 11.00 saying interest due . They changed it on the 12th to a zero balance. When I called waited 15 minutes to speak to customer service . Got a run around about payment on time . I have never been late always paid on the 3 rd even though it's not due till the 11th . The card will remain locked and never used again . Some seems rotten . How can you say late never no late fees and paid on line 8 days before due date . Seems to be a shady company in my opinion .First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

We appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. Interest is charged on accounts that are in a revolving status. This revolving status can be can be caused by multiple factors, such as the statement balance not being paid full by the due date, a late payment, or by completing a transaction that does not have a grace period, such as a cash advance or a balance transfer. If an account is in a revolving status, you may see interest on the statement following the balance being paid in full. This interest is what was accrued by the unpaid balance between the last statement closing date and the date the balance was paid in full. To look into this further, and see what happened with your account, please call us at 888-530-3626, or submit a secure message after logging into your account from our full website.Review fromTERESA H

Horrible, rude, CSR working out of home- noise and they explain grandkids playing or another equally ridiculous reason for poor quality connection. The hold times always at least 10 minutes w automated system trying to get rid of you (their customer). Even supervisors are bad and of little help w an issue- ie possible fraud or hacked account- I have got to make the switch but that will be yet another checking account number change. Ive called about automated letters that make no sense- thats a long hold and unanswered question. I called once about refinancing my house- and they just never called me back. (I have an 815 FICO). Drive up- rude and they insist on giving you old bills that are disintegrating- you don't dare fold them because they will break in half. No foreign currency. No new bills or gift coins- Very unhappy emplyees- Even the tellers are rude.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

My complaint is about the offer of the FNBO Amtrak Rewards Mastercard, along with First National Bank of Omaha.
** I was buying tickets on the AutoTrain. At checkout, they offer the Rewards card, saying if instantly approved, it would be $100 off today's ticket, plus 20,000 points after 3 months if I spend $1000 in those 3 months. So I applied.
** Shortly after, I received a notice via my personal bank that my credit history had been pinged.
** But I could not complete the purchase without the number of the new credit card i'd just applied for. I waited many hours.
Finally, because I really needed to buy the tickets today, I used a different credit card.
** When the email confirmation of the new card finally arrived, the whole number was not in the email (of course), and it said the physical card would arrive in 7-10 business days. That's not useful for purchasing tickets today!
** I called the company, First National Bank of Omaha. All they could say is that I was not instantly approved.
With an extremely high credit rating, I should have been approved easily.
** I feel like this was a BAIT-and-SWITCH:
an offer of perks, but in reality, those don't exist right away as they SEEM to promise.
One of the webpage offers even says "Get approved in as little as 30 seconds!" ( I have screenshots)
I wonder if I did not get approved "instantly" -- with a super high credit score -- if ANYONE actually gets approved in time to use the card right then for that purchase.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

1 starThis bank is horrible. I recently used my card again to pay for a medical appointment I desperately needed. The next day, I got an email saying my credit limit had been lowered. No warning or anything. I exceeded my limit because of THEM lowering it, which further affected my credit score. I have faithfully paid every month, but that means nothing to these people.
I called, and they did nothing but say I could request a limit increase in 4 months even though they were the ones that caused this. This is unacceptable treatment.
