FNBO issues credit cards for Scheels sporting goods. I opened a credit line with Scheel about 6 weeks ago, and just had my first interaction with FNBO's customer service. In a word, they were awful. So bad that I decided to close my account.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

Yea, this is pretty much your boilerplate response to all of the reviews citing your poor customer service. In my case, I can comfortably reject it as insincere, because I already spoke with a customer support supervisor, and she was as bad as the representative I first spoke with. Again, my experience with you was so bad that I closed my account. For me, there isn't anything left to resolve, because I've decided not to do business with you. But you have the choice of listening to the many complaints, or continuing to brush them off.Review fromlori r

I have banked at the Johnstown, CO branch for about 8 years. Every time i went in was greeted with a smile and nothing but kindness. The in the last 12 - 18 months they changed management and staff, and they are now one of the most unpleasant places to go to. You have to wait until they put the cell phone down to get their attention, and then get treated like you are a big inconvenience to their day!! I am thinking about pulling out of there and going somewhere else.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

As a customer of BP which made me a customer of FNBO for numerous years, we never carried a balance on this credit card, always paying off the balance except one month where I accidentally shorted it 80 cents. I then paid it on the following month’s statement. AND also there had been several times where they’ve added interest charges when there was no balance. When I contacted customer service I’ve been met with terribly rude and refusal to comprehend what happened associates. Meanwhile trying to coerce me to now pay interest charges on their inappropriate interest charges. I’ve also sent numerous correspondence to the address on the back of the statement per their instruction with no response. This company’s customer support is the absolute worse. I canceled this card and BP has lost my business as a result.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I have never done business with a bank this bad. Everything from customer service to the website and app are just awful. Repeatedly locked out of my online account, and when I go through the steps to set a new password, nothing works. The app just closes and the website ALWAYS sends an error message. It’s all just useless. And good luck speaking to anyone who can actually help.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

FNBO just took over my Flagstar credit card account and within days I needed to call customer service for a "service fee" on my account that I have never had to pay in my entire adult life. The guy who answered in the customer service department was a rude jerk who would not help me and when I asked who else I could talk to about this issue, he told me no one and hung up on me. Absolute worst service I have ever experienced, stay away from this companyFirst National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I was a brand new customer through a JAL USA credit card. The advertised annual fee for the JAL USA card was $0 Intro Annual Fee for the 1st year (After that, $20 annually). I was fine with this so I applied for and was granted the card. In the first month of opening the card I received a notice that I owed $70 ($20 for my JAL annual fee and $50 for a FNBO award program). I called the bank and was informed that the $50 would not be refunded and it was in the "fine print" of my agreement but the $20 might be refunded. Not chancing further unknown fees, I cancelled the account immediately.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

Have been a custom for over 5 years and never late on my payments and nothing changed on my credit report and even received a credit increase in the past 6 months and they reduced my credit limit down to nothing. The is not really usable anymore. no explanation for why the reduction in my credit limit and when I contacted custom service they were very rude to me. And after the call I was looking at my account and my secluded payment was canceled?... I reschedule my payment...looks like there custom service was trying to make my payment late..for the fee,First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

Michael, we're sorry to hear that our services have not met your expectations, and appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention. If the decision is made to lower an account's credit limit, a letter is mailed that explains the factors that led to the decision. Please note, the most common reason a payment that was made online does not post is that the payment is not fully scheduled. When making a payment, you will need to click the 'Submit Payment(s)' button after filling out the necessary information, and then click 'Confirm' to confirm that the information is correct. If the payment is not confirmed, it will not post to the account. Once the payment has been confirmed, you will be thanked for making your payment and provided a confirmation number. If you have any other questions or concerns, you can call us at 888-530-3626, or submit a secure message after logging into your account from our website, and our Specialists will be happy to help.Review fromEddy D

1 starI am a civilian. I am completely intoxicated and I need a safe ride home and once again I’m conveniently and not advertised or scheduled. First National Bank is updating their system and cannot help me and I asked them if they were able to give me a safe ride home somehow and then bill me later and they told me nope there’s nothing they can do and once again being in the situation I was in I asked for help again and they told me no, so I am completely intoxicated and I am gonna walk down highway 20 miles to my house and I will call First National Bank tomorrow morning. Thank you for caring First National Bank 100 some years in Omaha, Nebraska bullshit I am pissed. I’m going public. I’m going to the paper, this is outrageous.Review fromVictoria F

FNBO raised my interest rate to the maximum allowed, regardless of my payment history, just because they could when the federal government raised interest rates. They lowered my credit limit from $17,000.00 down to $1000 after I paid the balance off. Effectively messing up my credit usage to availability ratio on my credit score. I would not recommend this card to anyone. They aren’t a partnership to build credit, they’re greedy and spiteful for no reason.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)
