We purchased a white couch from NFM and the salesperson sold us on the Trade Square protection plan because it included a free cleaning. This was a complete lie, as Trade Square has refused to provide the free cleaning. When bringing the issue up with NFM they said "well that's insurance company's for you". Stay away from any protection plan they try to sell you. NFM advertises Trade Square to have a 4.5 rating but if you Google their actual review summary their rating you will see it's a 1.1 rating. We've spent ten of thousands with NFM and felt completely lied to and taken advantage of just to pad their pockets.Nebraska Furniture Mart

I am sorry to hear about this issue and understand it is a disappointing situation. NFM as the retailer sells the product on SquareTrades behalf however, the warranty service and guidelines are handled through their company directly. I purchased a faux leather chaise lounge in Aug 2019 form the store at The Colony in Texas. I was sold a protection plan for $99 and was told it was good for 5 years and if not used in 5 years, the amount paid was refundable. Well, 5 years has passed so I called NFM and Guardsman (who provided the coverage) and neither company states they will provide a refund of the amount. I have purchased many items from NFM and having salespeople who lie is not something I will be returning for.Nebraska Furniture Mart

I apologize the protections plans are non-refundable if outside 30 days with NFM. If you cancel a protection plan it is pro-rated from the date your items are delivered and there is an additional service fee. This would be handled through the extended warranty directly. Received my furniture August 9 th 2024 however the big couch had no legs come with it. I put in a request that day for replacement legs. It’s now 10/18/2024 and still no legs!!!! We have already gone past the date they gave me for them to come and I have called several times with no help. My daughter bought a dryer from there and 2 months later it’s not heating. She is also working on getting her issue fixed. I would not recommend anyone get anything from this store!!!!!!Nebraska Furniture Mart

I am sorry to hear about these issues. We would be happy to check the status of the part order for you. It can take 8-12 weeks to ship depending on the manufactures stock availability and transportation. I am sorry to hear your daughter's dryer is not heating. My husband and I purchased what we thought was a new LG refrigerator from Nebraska Furniture Mart on 12/31/22. We recently had cooling issues with the refrigerator 9/7/2023 and called a LG for a repair and they sent their repairman, John E*******. When he started looking at the refrigerator he said someone had previously made a repair to the refrigerator. He also asked how long had we owned it, we told him and he said it was a 2018 model!
When we bought the refrigerator the salesman informed us as we were making the purchase that they had just sold the last one. He then offered that we could purchase the floor model at a reduced price. So we purchased it because my husband like the options on that model of refrigerator.
We have contacted NFM customer service but we just get an auto reply that it is no longer under warrtanty. The warranty is not our issue!
The point is they sold us an old refrigerator that had been returned and repaired when we thought we were buying a new appliance!
Why would we go to NFM to purchase a appliance that is 4 years old!
My husband and I are senior citizens and I feel they thought they could pass this off on us. Which they did which makes matters worse. We feel deceived by a company that advertises customer service. We are still going to pursue their customer service but would like to warn others of their deceitful practices.Nebraska Furniture Mart

Thank you for your feedback. This refrigerator has only been on NFMs floor as a sample model and has not been used so there would be no service or service record for the item. I received this reply and asked them to contact me. I called the store when I had no response on 10/25/2024, was connected to Beth a store manager in CHAT help line. She replied that all of our correspondence must go through BBB. Still don't see any reply nor have a had a reply about our refrigerator.Review fromOmari R

1 starAlways issues at NFM, whether it is broken furniture, used electronics, or shipping wrong items. I purchased an iPhone 16 pro max with accessories , and ended up receiving an empty iPhone box. Called nfm and they required a police report which is fine, supplied all information they requested, still haven't seen my refund or a return label for the accessories since I have no phone. Knowing NFM stole the iPhone which is trackable or just sent an empty box in general, I wasn't even offered any solution for my inconvenience. It's always an issue here , if you're not shopping for clearance items, stay far away. They have bad customer service and terrible credibility.Review fromMITCHELL C

1 starAlmost 4 weeks ago, we purchased over $10,000 of furniture from Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony, TX. In the first week we recieved about 30% of the furniture. Only bits and pieces of the complete sets. Since then, they have continually lied to us about the availability of the furniture and when it can be delivered. I purchased a couch from NFM about seven months ago, and it’s already falling apart with strings coming loose everywhere. Despite the store and manufacturer claiming that this is “normal wear and tear,” I don’t believe this kind of deterioration in such a short time should be considered acceptable, especially for a piece of furniture that cost over $1,200.
When I reached out for a solution, I was disappointed to hear that no repair options were available because it wasn’t considered a “vendor defect.” NFM did offer to reduce the restocking fee from 25% to 10% as a one-time courtesy, but this still leaves me out of pocket for a couch that didn’t even last a year. I appreciate the gesture, but it doesn’t make up for the poor quality of the product.
I’ve had a really frustrating experience and will think twice before shopping at NFM again. For a company of this size, I expected better customer service and product reliability.Nebraska Furniture Mart

Thank you for your feedback. As the retailer NFM has a 30- day return and exchange period from the date of delivery. This can be viewed at that following link Returns & Exchanges | Nebraska Furniture Mart (nfm.com). After that we do work within the manufactures warranty guidelines they provide for coverage. We would be happy to resubmit the pictures with the vendor (Fine Home Limited) for reconsideration. I am happy the team was able to offer a resolution outside our return period and the manufactures warranty. We did offer the return as a one-time courtesy with a fee because you have had use of the couch since February with no other issues with the unit. I do show you were provided an additional month (10/14/24) to see if SquareTrade could offer any assistance under the coverage they provide and then let us know if you would like to proceed with the pickup and reselection. I know it's disappointing when something does not meet our expectations, and we certainly appreciate your understanding we are doing what we can to assist you.Review fromMelissa T

Hi I received a 1300 dollar couch and it was replaced once already so now there coming to return for a found I've been waiting from 11:30 - 2:30 mind you that's over the 2hour window they gave me by an hour already.Now I'm waiting it is 3:52 and I am still waiting now how are they doing me any courtesy for a product they already having to return for the second time so now WHY would I want to go there to buy something again I am super confused wheres the excellent customer service here oh and we called they were suppose to be here a half hour after 3:14 pms call it's 3:56 and NO THEY R NOT HERE omg really trying to remain calm I've been doing nothing but waiting and waiting Now what is fair we'll for starters the review now let's see if they respond and how What is fair here never been in this situation?Anyone please comment !!!!!!!!!Nebraska Furniture Mart

a 3-hour estimated window that is why your window was between 11:30-2:30. NFM
does not offer a 2-hour delivery window. I am sorry for any misunderstanding
and if this was not clearly explained. The
call ahead notification can only be estimated as well. Our delivery teams do the
very best they can to arrive within those times provided unfortunately, we are
not able to guarantee the time frames because unforeseen issues can arise that
are out of our control. We do recommend scheduling your delivery on a “free” day
to avoid other scheduling issues. Thank you for your understanding and for

They say the same story every time I call. We will send a message to the manufacturer. Sorry we can’t give you a refund and we can’t do anything for you so have a nice day!! I cannot explain how disappointed I am with NFM. In October 2023, we purchased a dining room table, chairs and server. It was high end Amish and we paid almost $6300 for it. Fast forward to June 2024. We noticed the table faded exactly where we had a simple fabric runner. So now it looks like there's a strip running down the middle of the table. NFM sent someone out to look at it and he could not explain how this could have happened. Now they're telling me that the manufacturer does not consider this to be a defect and they are not responsible. NFM offered me $150 to settle it. I refused of course. Then I spoke to a "manager" and they came back and offered $300. After some haggling and it was obvious they were not going to replace the table, we settled on $550. Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear about the disappointment. I know it's very frustrating to hear that the issue was not able to be covered. I did review the order and claim to see if the extended warranty was purchased. Generally, this will cover issue considered accidental but unfortunately, that was declined at the time of purchase. I wish I had better news and appreciate your understanding.
