1 starI workd with Aaron M***** and I advised him my situation and it was not good. He was so good at telling me he could help that I believed him. He advised me not to pay my current mortgage because he was getting us a new loan. I tell you when I was bad I mean I was two months late on my car and had a terrible history paying my mortgage due to a botched home sale that fell through. So yes shame on me for believing him and word to the wise do not let them do a hard pull on your credit because they say "you got it", go somewhere else who will give you the real deal. I learned the hard way and now I am almost homeless.Review fromRyan H

Couldn’t have had a more aggravating experience. I spent over a year processing and sending more than 35 different versions of the same two claims I had for two knee surgeries only to receive complete claim denial, without a response that ever made any sense. Would recommend using absolutely any other insurance company than Mutual of Omaha

Omg! This company is so disappointing and lies about payout! My mom had insurance with them for a very long time and paid them faithfully. My mom passed away on October 29,2024. Every week the check is being mailed out. They will tell it takes up 15 days but I called in November no pay out I owed the funeral home and they think I’ll lying Dec no pay out this lady paid them alots of money exceeding $10,000 insurance. This is very serious for them to play with a love one burial and they aren’t been able to payout on time.Mutual of Omaha

1 starLet's start with not being a company that stands by their word! First took payment earlier than discussed! Canceled policy gave. Them ample time even according to their email...call about the issue and am given proverbial checks in the mail wait longer! Of course if you are late paying you get extra charge they are just like we are still making interest on your money we will send a check later but we just click a button and withdraw from you zero help from them stay away if you value your money half as much as they value taking it from you!Review fromLarisa S

Worst company in the world.
Taking money from people and don’t honor policy, scamming families that already SUFFER.
Loosing loved ones and being taking advantage of Mutual of Omaha at the time is indescribable.
Receiving hand written letter addressed to my deceased husband offering a great rates a month after his death is the most painful experience.Mutual of Omaha

I think this company has mastered the art of scamming people. One year ago I started the journey with them to cancel a life insurance policy my aunt did not need. She had paid in around 4000.00 in premiums. After multiple phone calls, blatant lying that they did not receive required paperwork even though it was sent multiple times, clear means on their end to derail my objective of canceling this policy, and finally belonging to the rudest customer service club, we finally got an answer today that somewhere around 235.00 will be sent back! How can that be when their guidelines state their fees are around 10 percent of premiums paid in. I will be obtaining counsel from a lawyer about this. It is not about the funds. Its the principal in this matter that this company runs in a very fraudulent manner and gets away with it. My suggestion to anyone considering picking up a policy from them is to run the other way fast!Mutual of Omaha

1 starI have short term disabilty through my employer. Its been nothing but a complete and total nightmare dealing with Mutual of Omaha short term disabilty insurance. ANYTIME I contact my claim specialist I am told something different EVERYTIME. I spent a considerable amount of time getting needed physicians statements,
extremely time consuming. Im very frustrated with this company to say the least. This has to be absolute WORST INSURANCE company I have ever dealt with. Seems to me they do not want to help their customers that are already struggling with physical impairments, but Only committed to NOT pay benefits. 1 starI have an outstanding loan on my policy and after 16 days numerous calls and promises to overnight the check I am now told it won’t go out until at least December 1st. This company LIES. I wish I could go back in time. I would NEVER use them under any circumstances. They are the worst company I’ve dealt with in my 77 years.Review fromLina D

1 starFor many weeks Mutual of Omaha has been putting off accepting my application for a Medicare Supplement Plan G because they want to know why my insurance was terminated. Mutual of Omaha was supplied with 2 letters from my previous employer indicating that the employment was contract (temporary employment). Mutual of Omaha does not proactively reach out to customers with pending applications. The potential customer has to constantly call to find out the status of applications. Poor customer service.
