1 starI want to start by saying all of the nurses I have worked with have been very nice but also very rushed and clearly stressed....
DO NOT SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS HERE IT WILL TAKE YOU YEARS TO GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT BECAUSE THEY CANT GET YOU IN.
Spending thousands of dollars on laser hair removal to never be able to get into an appointment is a horrible business model. I have been cancelled/rescheduled at least the last 3 out of 4 visits. One visit prior to all the cancellations the woman was so rushed even though I got there on time she started the appointment by saying we wouldn't have time for everything I had scheduled for and then graduated me from areas that were clearly not ready to graduate, as confirmed by a later technician.
The last time I went in the technician apologized for the previous cancellations and not being able to get in since October (it was Feb at the time) and said that not only was cooperate cutting peoples hours but also only letting them use one of the lasers they have in the office. I was told the only thing we can do is post a google review since the customer service phone line is outsourced and complaining there does absolutely nothing.
Surprise, my appointment today (3/11) has been cancelled, and I'm not able to get in again until April 18th.
This is between two offices, Aurora and Sheridan CO.
I understand I have paid for the areas I have been able to use, although its taken almost two years and im still undergoing treatments. I am asking to be refunded the toe hair removal that I purchased last summer and haven't been able to get in for, no one even mentions that I have that when scheduling an appointment since they can't find an appointment long enough to treat the areas that are already being treated.Review fromCoral E

They had a booking error with my appointment. I had been out for months after they canceled my last appointment. I am grieving a heavy loss so it took me a while to get back out and on track. They never bothered to reschedule after being out for months but I would receive promotional messages. I finally got around to schedule back in my appointment would be in 2 weeks. I get to my appointment to them saying I am not scheduled. They don’t care to investigate and say “she’s not scheduled she’s going to have to reschedule”. They were defensive and blaming me saying maybe I called the Lubbock office. I know I spoke to someone there and had the phone call log proof where I spoke to their line for 2 minutes. After expressing how frustrating the situation was because I already have trouble finding time that works for me and them. I hustle out of work run home shave to make it to my “unscheduled” appointment. I don’t live close and they didn’t apologize until after i showed the proof of the phone call and because a customer walked in and was listening to my complaint . They said they wanted to make a plan to make it right. I walked out with no plan or specific “offer”. It’s just frustrating wasting people’s time and they didn’t even care.Milan Laser Hair Removal

1 starI fel like I was being pressured into a agreement. I had no physical copy everything was done electronically.
I had to finally cancel my treatment given. I had some financial hardships.
I was not given an estimate of how many treatments I had left or how much I would have to owe if I refuse to go through the treatments anymore.
All I wanted was an honest answer And I kept getting pushed back. I feel like this one lady was trying to pressure me to continue three more treatments and I said no and it seems like it was insulting to her.
They didn’t give me any details of contract. I still don’t have it. I don’t even have an electronic one.
I need advice on why it’s so hard to get a copy of a contract.
I also wanna know why I’m getting so much runaround. All I wanna know is if I owe any more money for treatments and they won’t give me any Details. Mostly referring to Allegro Bank. They said that it’s the merchant or companies problem.
I also don’t like how shifty everyone was acting when I asked if they can tell me how many more treatments I had left, they kept shifting.Review fromNedum A

After doing ample research online I fear that this company is going under and is using false advertising and bank loans from their customers to bail themselves out. It seems like they opened too many clinics in too short of a time, and have tried to mitigate their poor revenues by firing staff and increasing their prices.
I was sold a package for "unlimited" treatments of my Brazilian and Underarm areas for $6,163. Even with their lifetime guarantee and suggested frequency of one treatment every 5 weeks, I have this is not a deal. After looking at other franchises (e.g. Semper) and even other MedSpas, I see that many other laser hair removal businesses offer services at ~100 or less per session for the same body areas.
I have already seen how letting go of staff has resulted in less appointment availability, as seen by my 2nd appointment being booked 6 weeks after my first (instead of the recommended 5) and multiple comments from the Clinic Manager about slots being sparse.
They claimed that my package was heavily discounted at 60% off but after looking online I see that this sale is year-round and they only show the marked-up prices to convince customers to sign the contract.
I was told that their laser is not as painful as waxing but after my first session, the laser expert told me that the sessions will only get more painful as I continue. My research shows that the models they're using are old and newer med spas have much less painful laser.
I have reasonable suspicion that Milan laser is close to going out of business and if that's the case their customers who took out financing loans will never get their money back. I would like a refund of the package minus 10% for the one service I received (even though that is a ludicrous amount for one laser service and the company themselves know that one laser session is not worth $600).Milan Laser Hair Removal

I made an appointment for a free consultation on January 16th, 2025. My only intention was a consultation, not to commit to anything. During the consultation, I was given information about Milan and laser therapy, which I liked. What I did not like was the price. After showing me the price, she said they have payment plan options. Looking over the payment plans I was a little hesitant because the total price was WAY more than I was looking to spend. I asked if I could come back next month with a decision. I was told no. I asked if I could have 24 hours to decide. I was told no again. I had to make a decision or else I could no longer get the deal because it was a "consultation only" deal. I sat there trying to decide what to do for about 10 minutes before I agreed, but after I signed, I realized that I was actually taking out a loan, which made me even more uncomfortable. Fast forward 12 hours and I had the worst buyer's remorse ever. Now, I am trying everything to cancel my contract. I have not paid anything yet and have not received any services. I tried contacting the clinic manager today and I have received no response, even after sending multiple messages. I have tried to contact corporate and they just told me they contact the clinic manager. I even tried contacting the servicer, Westlake, and they said they cannot cancel my contract.. I just would like to cancel my Milan and loan contracts and have them refund the loan servicer, especially since I haven't received any services yet, but I feel as though I am getting the run around. I cannot even figure out how to access the full payment agreement, just the summary!Milan Laser Hair Removal

The staff at the Sioux City location are friendly especially my nurse Katie. However, I've tried multiple times to get a refund for services I didn't use. The manager Kayla only keeps saying all sales are final, and won't even attempt to have a conversation or come to an agreement on refunding me for the difference. I've paid in full and have only used the service a total of 4 times since 2021. I am a grown adult and am not blaming my decision on them whatsoever, but it's not easy everytime you're sitting there for the service you actually want they give you a test area and sell you something else. The service I have received did not help nor improve the reason for starting in the first place, and I don't want to be responsible for paying services unused. Lifetime service but only a promise of up to 10 sessions or they'll schedule you months out. I'm only looking for the company to do the right thing and have some common courtesy for my specific situation. Being shut down and unapologetic is certainly not helping my negative experience, and makes for an awkward visit every time I go in for the service I do want. This is not cheap by any means and I've already covered all my payments.Milan Laser Hair Removal

1 starI have been calling since October 15th trying to get a refund and cancel my subscription. Ever since then, no one called me back or emailed me, as I was told I’d get a email regarding this information. I found out the staff I was used to and comfortable with was laid off and called them voicing my concerns to get my money back and to stop my billing. I upgraded to full body because I was very comfortable with the old staff and felt confident in their expertise. I am disappointed in the recent changes with the company. I paid a premium price promising NPs to do the treatments and now they’ve laid off the NPs I built trust and rapport with for almost 4 years. I tried to contact the company and they keep passing me along and haven’t been able to speak 1:1 with someone who can help me regarding my concerns. There has been many treatments where I have not came in yet been billed. I feel as I have wasted so much of my money and time. I want to cancel my plan and get a refund.Review fromAndrea H

1 starI scheduled an appointment for 11/6/24 at 9:10a and received a text while in the parking lot at 9:14a and was notified via phone/ in person to reschedule. I rescheduled for 11/14/24 at 5:20 p.
I obtained a Laser treatment and my eyebrow was hit with the Laser wandering by the technician on 11/14/24. I immediately informed the technician and front desk that my eyebrow was singed. I was informed to submit pictures via the website. I then proceeded to document the incident via Milans laser chat. However, the link to post pictures was not valid indicating an error message. (404 things are getting hairy. The page you are looking for doesn’t exist)
I was informed that the medical team would contact me the same day which was 11/14/24 and it is now 11/20/24. I have yet to receive a call after reaching out a second time due to the invalid link. I have a burn and is missing half of my left eye brow. I am at a loss for words regarding the unprofessionalism. I don’t have confidence in their ability to provide effective services without resulting in additional complications. Therefore. I’m requesting a refund for services paid.Review fromLa Shawn H

The ****,******** location misrepresented the service to me and did not disclose that the treatment would not work on my gray hair (all of my laser treated hair is gray) As a result 5 months later I am in the same position that I started. I am being requested to pay roughly $1,000 for a service that I would not have signed up for had I been told that the service would not work. This is truly disappointing. I talked with the team and they are not willing to cancel my remaining $600 amount due. I truly believe I should not be expected to pay for a service that they had the responsibility to disclose would not work for me.Milan Laser Hair Removal

1 starI was due to have my consult the next day. When I received a confirmation call, I decided to disclose that I am blind and I would be able to make it to the appointment. I was told everything was fine until I received a call back and was told I had to bring someone with me who was over the age of 18 to help me read the documents: according to a regional manager. When I asked if someone there could help me by just reading the forms as I am able to make informed decisions for myself, I was told no because it's a legal document. I was also told that I might have to reschedule my consult because the documents may take a while to complete once I bring an adult with me. I made it clear that I was surprised since I do make my own decisions and no bank/hospital/etc expects me to bring an adult to sign documents. The continued response was that no one could do that there since it's a legal document. I asked if I could be sent the documents in advance (to offer another work-around) and I was told the same thing about it being a legal document. I confess I hung up after stating I would find somewhere else to go. I see this as blatant ableism since I disclosed out of the kindness of my heart. What would have happened if I had just shown up to my consult the next day without having disclosed? How would I have been treated then? I wonder since they clearly were not making accommodations for my appointment beforehand. This was in the Halsted Chicago location. I am heartbroken by this form of discrimination since I am an adult with a career in the mental health services field who can advocate for myself. How do other disabled customers get treated at this place?
