So I clicked on an ad in my ************* that said "Shop Today and you will get free shipping and four free burgers.". I did shop today, but they would not give me free shipping or free burgers (they have a $*** minimum order, and charge $** for 4 steaks, so 4 free burgers is nice, but not the deal it sounds like).
I called and the person I spoke to said that the free shipping/burgers deal applied only if I bought specific items. But that is not what the ad said. It said "Shop Today . . . ". It could have said "But X product today . . . ". Clearly misleading.

I purchased two promation steak packages, and during checkout the site asked if I received one of the packages after Christmas, I would receive a $** credit. I never received the credit and when I called they said the package was not priced high enough for the credit promotion. So when was the $** credit offered in the first place. I could of received my steaks before Christmas but opted to get them late for the credit their site offered. Omaha Steaks lied and mislead me.Business Response

If the offer was only for orders $**, then your site should not of offered it to me at check out. Thank you for sending the credit to my email. Your product is great and this makes me want to purchase more in the future. I appreciate how this issue was handled.

Ordered package to be delivered December 31 to college grandkids who couldn't get home for holidays because they work. Items were delivered but did not notify recipients, so was locked in office of apartment until January 2. I received an email saying delivered, but traveling with another grandchild to ***** so didn't read emails until 7 hours after delivery and even though recipients were home all day, they didn't know about delivery until I read emails. Needless to say, items were not cold and steaks had leaked on everything in cooler. Contact with Omaha, said refund or resend, be sure address correct, etc. originally I said resend. Kids could use some nice food. But then I never heard back from them! So I guess a refund of $*** is best. Very disappointed that they ask for recipients phone number, but then don't use it! Even ******* keeps updating delivery right down to the last minutes. Embarrassing! Wanted to send a treat for them, but spoiled meat and bloody desserts not what I was hoping for. Have sent plenty of emails, no response now. Will be heading home soon, but hopefully will resolve soon. I am glad Omaha at least let me know about delivery or it would still be in the room!Business Response

******************************************* Our daughter sent us a $*** gift certificate for Christmas. We bought 4 prepared meals. We invited guests over and used 2 of the meals. They were so bad we had to apologize to our guests. We called Omaha Steaks and they sent us a $**. Gift card to replace the 2 meals. We tried to use the gift card but it said we had to order $**. Worth of food, effectively making us spend $**. Because we used their "guaranteed satisfaction" promise. We called the help line and instead of apologizing and fixing the problem - ************************************************************** - they told us to either order more food or forget the guarantee. Please either refund our daughter's entire $***, or allow us to use the $**. gift card you sent us as part of your guarantee. I put in an order and paid extra for December 23rd delivery. The order did not show up until December 27th. My kids were in from out of town for the holiday. Our Christmas dinner did not arrive till my kids were gone back home. This left the order useless to me. I explained this in an email to Omaha Steaks. They responded with a refund for the shipping charges. Really???? I sent another email with no response. Finally today I had to call them and spent about 40 minutes on the call. First the woman said she was processing refund. Then she came back on and asked me if I used a gift card for the purchase, I answered no. I was again put on hold for a long while until she came back and offered me a ** dollar gift card......ha ha... I said no, I want a refund and offered to send order back, again I was put on hold. Finally when the rep came back on the line she told me I would get a refund but not until the 6th of January because they are busy. Wow!!!! But get this, here's the kicker.... the rep told me if I got a refund, I would not be allowed to order from them again.........I haven't stopped laughing yet. I really doubt that I will get the refund and the company will not honor the 100 percent unconditional money back guarantee. If I do get refund I will update. Until then I would not recommend this company to anyone. ******************************************************** I by no means have a lot of money but wanted to have a special Christmas dinner with my kids. I placed two different orders before Christmas and was told on checkout I would receive a $** off reward for agreeing to receive the shipments after Christmas. I only received 1 out of 2 rewards. When the reward arrived there was also suddenly a mention of a minimum purchase of $***. I called customer service and was put on hold for 36 minutes. I have reached out to Omaha Steaks Customer Support on numerous occasions, to stop marketing calls and to stop mail delivery. I have been harassed with their mail over the past 4-5 years after making a single purchase from the company. ********************************************************* ******************************************************************************************************* I recently reached out within the past 30 days, to Omaha Steaks, and was assured that I would be completely taken off of any mailing/phone list. My USPS informed delivery is showing an inbound advertisement from Omaha Steaks. *********************************************************************************************************************** It's unbearable how this one company sends me more mail than any other company I have done business with in the past. I placed an order on November 25th to be delivered by their "Christmas delivery" which states approximately 10 days before Christmas. On November 26th I received an email stating my order has been shipped and is on the refrigerator truck expected to arrive November 29th.

Omaha Steaks allowed me to order a Holiday thanksgiving packabge but then would not allow me on their app to schedule the week of thanksgiving except for today, wednesday. Thats a problem since the stuff I order came so brick hard the instructions tell you it has to be thawed 3 to 4 days. The meal is now totally worthless to my family who will arrive tomorrow and I will now have to go spend the same money again to have something to feed them. The practice was at the very least deceptive and I will be out over *** bucks for a special meal my family can't have.
