I was disappointed in the quality of the meat "bundle" I bought as a thank you gift for relatives. The hot dogs were said to have cooked up dry and were not as tasty as brands that come from grocery stores. They did not complain about the steaks. On my second purchase, I decided to buy burgers and a Thanksgiving ham for myself. The burgers cooked up slimy with grease. There was little taste. I was embarrassed that I took the ham to the family dinner. The color looked artificial--too pink-- and it was not as good as the well known brand so popular at holiday meals. The kids who usually love ham for Thanksgiving did not eat it. Yet, it cost just as much as the popular brand. Twice a disappointment .Not a good buy all around.Omaha Steaks

I have ordered from Omaha Steaks for many many years. This year the phone order for what would have been a couple of hundred dollars plus was going well until the delivery fee came up. I have in front of me their personal gift list form that clearly states an order of $99.00 or more, no delivery fee, not stating conditional per order....well I was thrown the curve ball, told needed 39.00 more to deliver, was placed on 2 holds to talk to a customer service rep, I referenced their form. Placed on hold again and I ultimately hung up after being on the phone for 30 plus minutes. I wrote in to customer service and explained the horrific experience with Omaha Steaks. A few days later I got a voice mail from Barbera B, asking to help. So I call back, ask for Barbara, gave all my info and was put on hold to transfer....a man answered the phone, I again requested Barbara whom had reviewed the comments I sent them and wanted her...I was promptly told they have many many Barberas and that simply wasnt going to happen. As I requested Barbera B again I was talked over and virtually treated like dirt from this individual that was representing their customer service dept...as he told me. I hung up as he continued to talk in a very disconcerting manner. No thanks Omaha Steaks if this is how your company is positioned today!Omaha Steaks

Dear Omaha Steaks, let me reiterate, I was treated so badly by your customer service representative and now have so much time trying to order as you state is free shipping as I pointed out to the customer service representative on the initial call and the follow up call that its important for me to alert all that will listen that Omaha Steaks practices bait and switch with delivery fees and or your customer service reps are greatly inefficient. My placing an order after all this is not an option.

Horrible customer service! Steaks shipped. Took 4 days to ship 1 hour away! Steaks were thawed! Customer service was hours on hold for 3 different times. Did nothing but say WE had to call back for status. Finally received thawed shipment and customer service (after hour on hold) would credit my account and send an immediate email to the fact. Now a day later and no email or credit!Omaha Steaks

1 starPlaced an order for a Christmas gift. To my surprise the cooler was shipped without any tracking information. Came home to find it sitting on my porch for god knows how long. I immediately unwrapped the shrink wrap to find my food did not contain any dry ice! I emailed the company immediately and received a responses that my shipment would come with dry ice and shipping information. Two weeks pass and I contacted company again and was told I already received my order. Again explain about lack of shipping info and dry ice but to no avail. No one has responded after that! I emailed explaining how I have no proof of lack of dry ice as I didnt videotape the unwrapping of shrink wrap and they have no proof of sending shipping info so I could make arrangements to be there to receive my merchandise but again -no response. Very disappointed with lack of consumer satisfaction and food safety. Consumer beware as they more interested in making $$$$ then food safety regulations and keeping a customer satisfied . Beware! I've ordered steaks and other promotional products from Omaha Steaks for a long time, usually for family and friends out of state. These three most recent orders will be the last with Omaha. When I placed my order, I was given a few choices for delivery. I chose the Christmas delivery for two addresses and made a mistake by not checking the Christmas delivery on the local order. The local order was delivered on Dec. 2, 2022. The other two, out of state orders, were delivered Dec. 3, 2022. I'm pretty sure Omaha uses the same calendar as we do. Two out of state orders delivered on Dec. 3, 2022 doesn't get close to being a Christmas delivery. There are too many companies out there who would love to have my money and since Omaha has a strange sense of when Christmas is and my orders delivered accordingly, I'll be trying different places next year. Other than being fairly easy to order and ship, their steaks are extremely costly and very so-so for the money so they will no longer be getting my hard earned money.Omaha Steaks

I ordered a package from Omaha Steaks with multiple items. When I received the package, I was missing the steaks that I ordered. I called customer service and was on hold for an hour each time with no answer. I then went to their website and sent them a message explaining the problem, no answer. I then messaged them on Facebook and Instagram to which I finally got a response. I explained the problem and they told me they could either send me the steaks after Christmas because they are not sending single orders (not even for their own screw up), send me a gift card or refund me some of my money back. I chose the gift card option because I truly wanted the steaks I originally ordered and still had some hope in the company, silly me. The gift card was for $60. Upon going back and shopping their website, that $60 would not even cover the steaks I originally ordered. If purchased alone, the steaks were $100+ and I did not want to pay any more out of pocket than I already had paid. I contacted them and told them to cancel the gift card and just refund me my money. They then told me that they would cancel the gift card but my refund will not get back to me for up to 4-6 weeks. I'm appalled. Absolutely unprofessional, inconsiderate and unorganized. This was a gift for a friend and now I have to find an alternate route before my soon to be deadline. Very disappointed and regretful in trusting this company. They could have at least made an exception for their mistake and made an unhappy customer's faith restored. I will never go through this company again and I encourage everyone who is curious about them to stay away at all cost. Overall, this is the worst experience I've ever had with ANY online website and I truly feel like I've been robbed and tricked. Supposed to be Christmas delivery, but was delivered in November. Meat ruined because recipients were out of town. Contacted customer service twice prior to delivery with no help. Would not recommend.Omaha Steaks

Selected a 15 day delivery date that was a option at check out. Order was shipped the next day. When it shouldn't have been shipped for at least two weeks. Now it's expected to be delivered Nov 26th over thanksgiving weekend. The family that it's attended for is out of town for the thanksgiving weekend. When I called Omaha steaks customer service it was stated sorry it's already shipped. They suggested that a neighbor go pick it up. It's not the neighbors responsibility to drive over and pick it, and then make room in there freezer. This all could have been avoided if Omaha steaks honored The ship date that i chose at check out. Ruined my family's thanksgiving! I paid extra for my thanksgiving meal to arrive yesterday and now they tell me it's not coming until Saturday. They refused to refund me even though I explained I needed the money to buy a new thanksgiving meal at the grocery store, and instead offered to refund my shipping and a $25 gift card.
