      I recently found out that Planet Fitness doesn't care about the customer it's all about money$$$ for them. They will allow you to start a membership online. But, they won't allow you to cancel it online. You have to visit a location or write a letter, which is very inconvenient.

      They will allow you to put in your credit card information and electronically sign to start. But, say they need your hard signature to cancel. How does that make any sense? It doesn't make sense; it just shows it's about keeping the ACH payments coming out.

      I will no longer do business with Planet Fitness because of this!! Bad customer service/practice!

      The worst company to deal with. Untrained “customer service” and you must jump through hoops to cancel. I would never recommend this gym.

      I was sold a $10 advertised join fee. When I joined, they demanded $49 instead. I was told I had to join through the app. Guess what you can't do through the app? QUIT! That's right, you have to go to your "home" club to quit.
      I only hope that congress passes the new law that outlaws this behavior.

      When planet fitness sells an upgraded membership included in that sales pitch is free fitness training. Guess what a lot of planet fitnesses do not have trainers, and one market in Colorado springs flat-out said they would not be getting trainers. How can a company include a product in its sales pitch that they don't actually have? I recommend no one sign up for a membership of any kind at a company that openly misleads its patrons.

      For over a year now, I have been on a national tour. I cannot go to my “home gym”. And I have been wanting to cancel the two subscriptions they’ve been charging me for. Almost $1000. But their site says and I quote “the process is easy. You can fill out a cancellation form at the front desk of your home club, or send a letter (preferably via certified mail) to your club requesting cancellation. Memberships can't, unfortunately, be cancelled by email or phone”. What part about sending a letter or having to go to the location is easy? I’m very upset and would love compensation when they get sued for this.

      I love the Toms River, NJ (Rt.. 37) gym, and am utterly baffled by the numerous angry reviews. The place is immaculately clean, the staff has been great overall, the machines are wonderful and plentiful, and I just feel damn good going there. Admittedly, I've been a member just a few weeks, but.... so far, so good.

      They have an app but makes it extremely difficult to cancel. You are required to go into the gym to cancel. Even in California where they are required by law to allow you to do so online the make the website very hard to navigate. Very shady.

      The PF in Denver, Co has no hot water. If you need to shower after training, you'll need to find a new gym. It cost me $100 to find out.

      Joined, quit and joined again, now having to cancel again due to health problems. They are changing a $58.00 cancelation fee. No more Planet fitness for me. I'll go somewhere else when my health improves.

      I was duped by a "roll-over-clause" in PLANET FITNESS'S contract. I am on Social Security Disability and live on less than $400. a month. I was very disappointed when I found out 5 months ago that you all charged me for 10 months ($24.00) after the contract ended. I wrote a letter to my local PLANET FITNESS. The manager called me and said he will have a resolution by the end of the week. I never heard from the manager at PLANET FITNESS because he quit and blah blah blah. I FEEL ignored and unimportant by PLANET FITNESS.
