    Marcam Associates keeps calling me and my family over and over. I have called the number back numerous times with no answer. This is harassment! I see that this is a common complaint about this company. I'm looking for an explanation and no further contact with my family.

    I have been continuously harrased by Marcam Associates with calls reaching up to 20 per day. They falsify their numbers to local ones to trick callers into thinking its someone else. I have been unable to block them via my service provider.

    I only had this phone number less than a month and this company has been calling me non stop. I don't know what this is all about. They didn't answer the phone when I picked up the call, they just left me a voice message for me to call them back. I would like for them to stop harassing me.

    This company started calling daily at all hours. I don't answer automated calls from unknown company's as they are most likely a scam. Please get them to stop bothering me. I should not have any outstanding bills from anyone.

    I have been receiving notices from Marcam Associates claiming a debt on behalf of Angel Ambulance for medical service on 01/16/2019. There are 4 entities that are mentioned in different correspondence
    - Marcam Associates
    - Angel Ambulance
    - Maine Medical Center
    - Anthem / Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

    Marcam Associates claims a debt on behalf of Angel Ambulance and/or Maine Medical Center, and states that Anthem/BCBS has told them that I should pay them an amount of $2769.

    Here are my responses
    - The supposed debt has a service date of 01/16/2019 which is more than 4½ years ago.
    - Angel Ambulance is not even listed as a business anywhere that I can find
    - I have an EOB from Anthem / BCBS that says that I do not owe anything for that particular service.
    - I sent a letter to Maine Medical Center at the address that they provided asking for an explanation of the Anthem / BCBS EOB and my letter was returned by USPS as undeliverable.
    - Marcam Associates has provided no documentation to substantiate the debt on behalf of Angel Ambulance

    I request your help in stopping Marcam Associates from contacting me any further, under the protections provided to me by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) under the No Surprises Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

    We did respond to his request for validation and provided it to the  address we had on file. The EOB the debtor provided on this complaint  shows Anthem's check to the debtor (first page of EOB) which is intended to pay the bill with our client, which he never did. The EOB states nothing is owed, as Anthem has already paid the debtor directly, to pay our client. We have placed the phone number on our DNC per this complaint for no further contact. We have also updated our system to cease sending letters to the address on file per the debtors request on this complaint of no further communications.  The debtor can reach out to us at ###-###-#### to resolve the balance.

    To date I have no outstanding debt with any dentists, doctors, or any institution that would merit multiple phone calls a day from different numbers. I was under the impression that the DNC registry means that automated callers must connect me to an actual human being in two seconds upon me answering the phone. This has not been the case.
    Please, stop calling me and leaving voice mails. This has begun to border on harassment.

    I have been getting daily calls from them for a year. Multiple calls per day! Changing their number frequently. I have no known debt unpaid and no letters from anyone saying I owe a debt. And yet the calls never stop.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

    I am writing to file a complaint against Marcum Associates a collection company that continues to exhibited rude and aggressive collection behaviors when attempting to collect on medical bills that have not been properly been processed through my insurance company.
    Despite my verbal request for a cease-and-desist, this company has continued to harass me and my family by calling my place of work and both my and my wife's cell phones.

    I have repeatedly informed this company that only US mail would be an acceptable method of communication, yet they have disregarded my instructions and continued to call me. This behavior is not only unprofessional and disrespectful, but it is also causing undue stress and anxiety for me and my family.

    I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter, as I believe that this collection company's actions are in violation of fair debt collection practices. I request that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that this company ceases their harassing behavior and adheres to the laws and regulations governing debt collection.

    Our records show that the phone number ending in **** was placed on our DNC back in May of 2023 per the initial request. There has not been any phone calls placed to that number since then. If the debtor could call us at ###-###-#### to request the other phone number to be placed on the DNC, as we do not show any other numbers on file for the debtor. Or respond with the phone number to be placed on the DNC.

    They keeping calling everyday leaving a automated message to call a 1800 number. I tried blocking the call on my phone but they keep calling.
