We have been on constant touch with this customer and recently it was determined that the failures were due to an issue with the engine in the customers vehicle.

This company is disgusting, they are scammers, thieves, advantageous, they sold me a defective torque converter transmission and they changed it, the warranty said they would pay for the repair and it was a lie, I paid $1,500 to install the first one and I had to pay the same amount again because they said that's how it had to be, they don't care if you have the money or not to do it, and the transmission they sent me had no sensors or connections, nothing, they removed everything even though it was more expensive for me, and they have not answered my messages or calls, take care of your ******************'t take risks, DO NOT BUY WITH MOVERAS, look for other more reliable options. This company is not trustworthy, even knowing that they sell defective spare parts, their policies are ridiculous.

I received 2 bad transmissions from moveras and they refuse to honor their waranty. One last a week and was throwing GM codes. The other would not shift on 4th gear. Clearly these transmissions were not tested before being released to the customer. The put so many hurdles and their final word as of 2 days ago is that they will not honor it.

Well, I got this transmission through advanced auto parts and we had it installed and went to install the rear transmission mount and one side of it was totally stripped out and had to return it. You would think that their quality control would have caught that its pretty major, and obvious to the operation of a transmission to have it mounted properly.

Absolute joke. ****** on a used unit instead, likely to last longer than anything these people have touched. They paid out 2.8 hours on a 7 hour job @ 50 per hour. Hardly worth sending a check let alone paying my employee for his time.

I have bought a transmission from autozone.. installed the transmission and the transmission came faulty... took around 2 or 3 weeks for the company to call me back and resolve the problem...my truck was in the shop for all that time without use... they told me i have 2 options... 1. Remove and send back and in a week or so i get a new one... 2. Replace part and they were going to pay for labor and part... the second was best option for how long ive been waiting and they assured me they would pay me back.. ****** is good after replacing part and now when it comes to paying me the labor and part, they send me money for part.. now i paid for oil and the labor out of my pocket because they were too cheap to pay me all 300 the total was with the part... ***** that i wanted to be a good person so they dont waste more ne sending the ****** and they have to pay for shipping and sending me back another one and then they would pay alot more for the labor that at this point i dont think they wouldve paid it.... so if u buy movera cross ur fingers the ****** is good and u dont need no warranty bc u wont get labor money back

Customer update as of 5/7/24: Crazy thing is that they know their transmission was bad.. the transmission was faulty and had nothing to do with the insallation but yet they wont pay..... tbh there are just some companies that want to make money but just dont care about their reputation... got an email from them saying we wil help you and only because i put a bad review in ****** but until now no response.... thanks movera for ur awesome customer service i will definitely not come back... i guess my 3 year warranty has expired the day i bought it....it was installed by a professional mechanic but because its not a shop no more warranty...

Our warranty covers parts and labor if the initial installation was performed by a licensed automotive repair facility. This was not the case in this instance, which is why the labor claim was denied.

If Moveras would spend as much time and energy ensuring their transmissions work properly before delivery as they do on finding reasons to deny warranty labor installations, they might have a higher Customer Review Rating and greater gross annual income.
I was shipped not one, but two defective transmissions and it was only after installation(s) that the transmissions were confirmed to have been shipped defective. The two additional installations cost just over $1000 each while the maximum reimbursement is only $350, and that is if you meet all the requirements, including installing unnecessary parts, in a case-by-case basis.
I was only reimbursed $220 for one claim where the transmission leaked oil when it got up to temp, while the second claim for a unit that would not even shift gears was denied altogether for lack of a new transmission cooler, which my PROFESSIONAL mechanic said was not necessary in this case.
Research into Moveras' history is disappointing to say the least with the sheer number of dissatisfied customer complaints and mechanical quality failures.
My advice is to stay away from Moveras and do better research before selecting a rebuilt and/or replacement transmission company. And, Moveras' affiliation with **** **** does not do much for A*** *****s reputation either.

The Warranty requires that the transmission cooler must be replaced otherwise the warranty is void. Even though the customer did not follow the installation procedures we sent him a replacement transmission at no charge. They then installed the replacement transmission and once again failed to replace the transmission cooler as required by the warranty. These transmissions were never deemed defective, the customer simply did not follow the installation instructions. We also paid the first labor claim even though the customer did not follow the installation instructions.

A transmission that immediately leaks oil from a hole in the top of the casing is NOT a function of the transmission cooler.
A transmission that does not shift into gear during the post-installation test is NOT a function of the transmission cooler.
Both transmissions were already defective when shipped to the PROFESSIONAL mechanic for installation.
    These are facts, not opinions.

2 BAD TRANSMISSIONS from MOVERAS! 15 to 35,000 miles max on both.
The president John C***** was helpful w the first bad one. 15K miles and broke down thousands of miles from home. Had to wait almost a month in a hotel for the tranny to arrive and needed to beg him to pay for the remove and replace of an additional $1000. I also had to buy a second oil cooler (300$) required for the warranty which is so bad it will cost you thousands because the limit of 50$ an hour is only a portion of what shops charge.
Here is my unsatisfactory back and forth texts from Mr. C***** with an offer he thinks is very "FAIR". He wants me to buy a third lemon from him and pay $2500 to him, and $1200 to the shop to install and $300 for a third oil cooler..to keep a warranty in effect. My well maintained 2010 Limited Town and Country has many new parts, tires, brakes etc and a perfect body and totally clean interior, but worth nothing not running. AutoZone sells the tranny I need for $2670 so essentially he wants to sell me one he sells to the retailer cheaper and thinks it's a more than fair deal.
I need more space to add our text communications here.
So many bad tranny's that don't go the distance. 92k on my original then 15k on the first and less than 34k on the second one. The point of third one is to get my car running for the worth of the car to be salvaged towards a more reliable one. I have no faith in the product reliability and the expense and stress of the repeated costs alongside having no transportation for over a month each time is NO WAY TO TREAT COSTUMERS.
Moveras LLC has a very bad reputation with Transmission Shops and Mechanics. Run..you can't do worse. Even a junkyard tranny with low miles that's OEM would be cheaper and more reliable.
My local big Transmission shop sells reliable components with a better warranty for $5500.
Mr. C***** wants me to pay him $2500 for a third tranny then $1200 install and $300 oil cooler plus tax for another.
    can post text change.

When Ms K***. purchased the transmission from us in October 2019, the repair facility did not follow the installation procedure properly which resulted in the transmission failure which voided the warranty. Even though this was the case we issued a replacement transmission at no cost and reimbursed her for labor above the warranty guideline limit. Now her vehicle has another transmission issue after 50k miles of driving since the original purchase and is almost a year and a half past the original 3-year warranty. We offered to send a replacement transmission to her at our cost as a customer satisfaction consideration which she has declined.

I will never purchase anything from this company EVER again! Purchased a transmission for my 2018 Yukon XL in October of 2022. The transmission was installed by a professional shop and the transmission was defective from the time I drove off from the parking lot of the repair shop. My vehicle jerked and jerked. I could not drive my vehicle because of the severity of the jump it would do when I drove it. Keep in mind I got a diagnostic test completed on my vehicle which was an additional expense that I incurred in order to prove to them that it was defective and we needed a replacement. This transmission was purchased through Autozone and I had to do a replacement warranty - it was granted and I am in the process of getting reimbursed. I spoke with a representative who gave me a "max" of what they would pay which was only $385 plus $150 for the programming fee. My vehicle is ready at the repair shop and the bill is $1950. I am a mother with children and I do not have the money to cover all of this. My vehicle is in the shop, ready to go (for a week now). It is not my fault the transmission was defective and I feel as though Moveras (whom sold the defective transmission from the initial install) should pay for the labor and reimbursements in full. I have tried contacting a supervisor to escalate the situation and I get told by the representatives that they do not have a supervisor readily available and I have been waiting on a call back since Friday (grant it, they were closing) and today is Tuesday and I have called three times to reach someone and left my phone number twice and no one has contacted me. Autozone said that it is in Moveras hands but they sold the part from the company. This is insane and I am looking for a solution to this madness.
