      It doesnt even deserve one star. The technician came out after a month of showering in cold water. He refused to come back out because Choice Warranty owed him so much back pay. I dont blame him. This company will NOT ANSWER THE TELEPHONE.

      Choice home warranty is based on lies and deception in order to take money from customers and deny claim's. AC Compressor went out during warranty coverage and the repair/ Replacement was denied. Their reasoning was we didn't have the warranty long enough and it shouldn't have gone out so soon. This organization should be investigated and closed. They're modern day thieves taking advantage and stealing from people.

      BEWARE OF DOGS Choice Home Warranty is a horrible horrible organization *They use very aggressive sale tactics - stalking customers with phone calls from multiple numbers even after I have politely declined renewal *The agents especially the male ones start out being nice then get rude and insulting when the conversation is not going their way *They have made several erroneous charges on my credit cards **** of America card ***************** card and Ive had to have the charges reversed *They call multiple times using multiple numbers and when you tell them to stop calling they get very aggressive especially the men *They find flimsy reasons to deny claims BEWARE BE WARNED I would shudder to have an older person have to do business with them

      This company is garbage, we paid up front for a policy, they cancel our policy during a service call because the claim was to high. Our A/C went out and need replacing, they avoid our calls most of the time hung up on us 7 times. Finally we received a e-mail saying our policy was cancel.....Stay away from this company.

      I think this company is a scam, Ive had multiple technicians come to my home to service my AC unit, theyve all said the unit should be replaced, and have turned in the paperwork and pictures from the problem stating that. The compressor is a part in the policy that should be replaced. The line to the compressor isnt. However the connection thats on the compressor is leaking which is part of the compressor, but they refuse to fix or replace the unit. Theyre saying it needs to have failed do to normal wear and tear. Its outside in the elements and rusted, if thats not normal wear and tear then what is. They have been here serval times and has never fixed or replaced anything but they continue to take our money religiously and go up on the price. All the technicians that have come has said this is and should be a replaceable unit. Im seeking a attorney to help resolve this problem.

      I was told upfront that that that all my appliances including the **** system would be fixed or replaced no matter what the issue is. All I had to do was pay a service call fee. Well I paid the fee on 3 different occasions on my a/c unit and each time they said there is nothing they can do for me.

      I put money into choice home warranty and I never received no service on my air condition they never replaced it they gave me the run around on my air conditioning unit after all them years did I put money into the warranty company and when it was time to get it fixed or repaired I kept getting a run around on my service it is not right to pay for a warranty when they do not produce or service that product I lost a lot of money over the course of the year so the warranty company is a fraud because they advertise that they will fix your unit when did time comes and I shouldn't have to be taken advantage of that by me spending a lot of money on my warranty so now I lost a whole lot of money so never go to this warranty company it is fake it's manipulating and they will take your money thank you

      I purchased 3 warranties for my rentals and primary home in 2019 paying a total of $3800 for 4 years. We did one claim on one of the houses for a water heater in 2020, and they agreed to cover it. On the second home, we did a claim for a roof leak in 2022, since supposedly we had this coverage on our warranty, the 3rd party contractor came and stated that Choice did not want to pay for it and this leak was not included. ( I asked myself, a leak is a leak what is the difference and there were no stipulations/restrictions on what type of leak would be covered. Long story short, they refused to pay for it so we paid almost $1500 on our own. Our last claim was for a toilet leak, Choice sent an incompetent contractor who took a look at the toilet and said no need to change anything, I will put putty on the hole and that should solve the issue. I told him that I needed a permanent solution not temporary one. 35 days went by and my bathroom flooded. I immediately called Choice Warranty and they stated that it was not their responsibility and if I wanted to have another contractor go, I would have to pay the service fee again. I took immediate action and advised them to cancel my policies and provide me with a refund. After waiting on hold for an hour and speaking to a resolution manager. She advised me that I would only get a refund of $400 in one of the properties, $150 on another and $0 on the one that I did the claim for the water heater. It has been over 60 days and I still have not received my refund!! I have called 6 times and their excuse is that it takes 30 days from the day that the refund was approved. LIARS!This is a warning to all consumers!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! CHOICE WARRANTY IS THE WORST COMPANY.

      Do not purchase this warranty company, they are fake and frauds! I bought two policies ( one for both of my homes). I had thirty days to cancel before the policies went into effect. I tried canceling day four after the policies were sent to me via email. After reading, I knew I did not want to use them. I have been put to voice mail over 25 times when I call to cancel. Hopefully, my credit card company will charge them back, and I will not have to pay.. It is in dispute now. If not I will file a claim in Superior court in ******, **. It is done online up to ******** and seems pretty easy to a Home Warranty from this company! They take your money, but will not refund it iif you decide to cancel. I can"t even imagine how long a repair would take!!!!!! Just a terrible, ripe-off artist company! TERRIBLE, never seen anything like it, in my 60 yrs of age-- never seen anything like them! If I don"t get the credit back from my credit card company, you better believe I will take then to court.

      I put in a claim for my AC not cooling down my condo. I filed the claim online and didn't remember when it stopped working and put in a random date. Mistake on my part because the date I choose was prior to when the policy started apparently. They automatically filed it as a pre-existing claim and stated I would not be eligible for repairs. When I explained what happened they said they would amend the claim and send out a technician and make a decision when the tech comes out. The first technician was absolutely horrible and never showed up. When called to complain they brushed it off and sent someone else. The second tech was amazing came on time inspected it and said that the compressor was out and the unit was just a very old unit and could have went out at anytime. He would not have known and that the whole unit just needed to replaced along with the compressor. Choice called me the next day and said they still denied the claim because it could have went out at anytime and they didn't believe it fell in the timeframe of when my policy started but again how would they have known that for sure when the Technician clearly said that they compressor could have gone out at anytime.
