1 starI would not recommend *** to anyone. I placed my claim on May 12, 2025 and it is now July 4, 2025 and my AC unit still hasnt been fixed. One company initially came out on May 13, 2025 and supposedly fixed it. The same company had to come out a total of 3 visits for the same claim and was unable to fix it. On the 4th scheduled visit, 3pm-8pm, the company stated he was going to replace the evaporator coil, but he never showed up. Instead I got a cancellation via email by CHW 10 minutes, 750pm. I called *** and they had another scheduled company to come out 5 days later. On the morning of my 5th scheduled appointment, the company called me and stated they will not repair my AC unit unless I pay up front. They stated because *** hasnt paid them for the last 10 services they did for them. I called *** and to this very day I still havent gotten another company to come out to fix my AC unit. I have suctioned nearly 30 gallons of water since May 12, 2025 and now my wood flooring has water damaged. *** stated I could do the reimbursement plan and repair all the damages out of my own pocket and he reimbursed up to 30 days later, but why should I do that if a company told me that havent received any money from ***? Also, the point of having a home warranty plan is to give customers financial freedom, not financial stresses. Why are we paying them monthly or annually and have to pay out of our own pocket for repairs?Review fromTommy S

I called them on a Wednesday. They said theyll get someone over to me Friday. I called them. I will put you at the beginning of the list fall on Tuesday. nothing our house got up to 103 15 fans running in our house. I called them again all they kept saying that theyre on the list, Im on the list. I called people around me. Nobody from Toy got a hold of them. I called them to cancel. They gave me a run around saying I cant cancel. They can give you a better deal only anytime they canceled me as when I said Ill have to get a hold of my attorney to sue them! He finally canceled then I found the reviews oh my God if I only knew! Please dont go to use and seeing scammers. The owner is a lawyer. He knows how to amend the contracts. What wording to put to s**** you over.!! I canceled them June 29 2025Review fromSharon M

1 starDo not under any circumstances is this company!!I have been paying for a Choice Home Warranty policy monthly for several years and used it one time before. I called and requested service for a washing machine about a month ago. My washing machine was on the second floor, and there was eventually water leaking through the floor and dripping onto the first floor - Choice Home Warranty could not send anyone for a week almost and I had to stop the water dripping so we had to move the washing machine to the hallway and I called a repair man to help do that which he did and also began working on the restoration of the ceiling and told me that the washing machine needed to be replaced. At that point I called back to the Choice Home Warranty who told me that they would send someone which they did in a few days. There was no option for me to leave the washing machine sitting where it was spewing water while waiting for the Choice warranty person. The choice #Warranty person Appliance Pros serviceman told me that the washing machine COULD be repaired. He would order the parts and be back. No one showed up in a week so I called back. No one called. When I called today, almost a month later, they said they sent me an email sometime last week telling me that because the machine had been moved to the hallway out of the laundry room that they could no longer service it under the warranty. Their excuse was that it had been moved well how could I have left it where it was? They have a severe lack of service!! - lack of communication, they said they sent me an email. They made no effort to call me. They have taken my money every month and provided terrible service and I believe they are completely dishonest. the one other time I called them and they sent the service man out. The service man warned me about this company and I shouldve listened.Review fromShir A

1 starI want to give them 0. *************. They took my money for 6 years warranty & have been nothing but headache dealing with the customer service, resolution team, escalation team. No follow up but ** & the ********************* is has to deal with nothing being done. I have a bathroom light for my elderly handicapped mom since 4/8/25 & still no follow up after they took the $75 till 7/3/25. Tri State blaming ******* blaming Tri State. Technician is nice. Owner is not reliable. Last year my central AC went bad & left 2 handicapped sick elderly people with 105 degrees weather & no one came to fix it. Company they outsourced kept cancelling appointment. My mom was so sick. They don't care. The customer service gave me wrong info told me to get someone & let them know which I did & they said they wouldn't pay since I needed 3 estimates. I had to pay $12000 & no reimbursement. ******* ******* only person good & heard he doesn't work there anymore. I thought ***** was bad but this is the crappiest company ever ????????????????????????Review fromA R C

1 starNEVER again!!! Seeking legal counsel especially after reading so many people experiencing the SAME issue. I tried to utilize their reimbursement option that THEY offer after they couldnt get anyone out here to fix my AC in this heat for almost two weeks. I called one company and they were here next day. The contractor came out, completed CHWs required information and photos requested via the link CHW sent and NOTHING. After an hour the contractor was over it and so was I so he began the work as I called CHW to follow up. I was told I would not be reimbursed even though the contractor was still at my home because they still had not confirmed authorization even though it stated he would have it within 10 minutes of submitting. I spoke to **** ******* the claim specialist and he told me my claim is not valid because per their rules I violated the terms of service! I also spoke to two customer retention **** and all they would offer was 2 months of ongoing service with them not coming close to the $800 I just paid out of pocket.Review fromAlan R

1 starI never anticipated having use the service but I realize things do happen when you own a home. That being said, my AC went out on Tuesday July 1, 2025 so I called you all for the service in which I pay for. Let me say process of getting a live person is very difficult unless you ask for the sales department, imagine that! I opened a claim via a recording and was told I would be notified within 24 to 48 hours of an appointment time. Think about what I just said, my AC went out and Im to wait 24 to ********************************** with the 90 degree temperatures. That same day I get an email with an appointment for July 3 between the hours of 7am to 11am. There was no way I could wait 2 days in 90 degree temperatures. I reach out to Choice Home Warranty the same day and the only way I could speak with someone was I asked for the cancellation department. I spoke with a female and she said the claim was closed. I replied, no way my AC is out and there is no way I can wait for a 2 day appointment. The female representative told me she would reopen the ticket and that I could get another company to come out to service my unit if it was quicker. This way I could be reimbursed for any charges. I did just that and another company came out the same day to service/repair my unit. (See Receipt $390 charge). I called back on Wednesday to explain to a male representative and he told me the claim was yet close again and that I didnt get approval from Choice Home Warranty to get the repairs done. I explained to him that I did and at this point I was done with Home Choice Warranty and I wanted to cancel my policy. He asked why in a very nasty way, I replied you all are not honoring you service. He stated he would put my phone number in the cancellation department que and someone would call me back shortly. I waited and did not get a call back. I called three more times Wednesday, got a recording left my message and no one called me back. I called again this morning ThurReview fromSHAWNTA B
