This purchase was made in error, I immediately emailed card cash to let them know this. I also tried to phone but card cash has very limited customer service. They are saying that I can't return because I am past the time to cancel and cards were sent. But I DID TRY IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE to resolve. On Sept. 25, 2022, we confirmed we had 100% full balances on three of my daughter's American Girl gift cards ($75, $50, $50) and agreed to a purchase price with CardCash. The cards were mailed to CardCash on Sept. 26 and on Sept. 29, two of them ($75 and $50) were fully redeemed while in CardCash's possession, leaving only one $50 card intact. This was all re-confirmed with American Girl yesterday.I don't know if this theft is from rogue employees or is normal practice for CardCash. American Girl confirmed they were redeemed on 9/29 (the day CardCash received them.). CardCash is aware of this and is giving an vague/inaccurate response.

I Placed an order to sell 2 cards on 9/14/22 and received confirmation that **** delivered the package-which I sent a picture of in my inquiry, however I have yet to receive payment nor does my account reflect that they have received them. When I contact for assistance all I am told is that they will look into it, 24 hours goes by so I message again only to be told they will look into my new inquiry and need another 24 hours. Unfortunately, there is a lot of fraudulent activity in the secondary gift card market and we, therefore, must take extra precautions to avoid any issues. This business buys gift cards, when I sold my ********** $100 gift card to them, I had to give the account number and the pin and value of the card for them to approve the balance and my account. The transaction was approved, and they sent me the *****. When i go to sell another card, they say that I have a liability on my account and will not release the funds for this current transaction. There is no reason they should be holding my money when the first transaction was approved, and balance was verified otherwise they would not have taken it from me in the first place. I want the $***** that is owed to me, and my account cleared from this liability. ***** stated that she was going to do this months ago and it is still on my account. They owe me this money as my card was approved the very first time, otherwise no transaction would have taken place. On September 20 I started a transaction to sell a $100 CB2 gift card to CardCash. Before starting the transaction, I confirmed the balance using CB2s balance verification system. After I provided all the information necessary to CardCash, I was offered $77.50 for the CB2 Gift card. I processed the transaction and selected PayPal as the payment method. I received no order confirmation within the following days, so I decided to check the order status on my account. Upon checking my account, I noticed that the transaction was canceled. The order number for this transaction is #*******. I got no notice about this, so I was pretty confused. I reached out to support, and havent heard back yet. My main concern is now my CB2 card has a $0 balance. So, its apparent that CardCash took the full value of my card and provided me with nothing. Now I am without payment for the card, and I also lost the ability to use the card again.I just want them to send me what was promised.Business Response

We have ordered and received multiple gift cards from Card Cash and have used several of them. However, in several other instances, we attempted to use a card at a merchant only to be told that the card has a zero balance, when we had not previously used the card. The most recent occasion was a meal at Cracker Barrel, for which we had a Card Cash gift card for $97.16. The merchant said the card showed up with no balance which is ludicrous since we had never used it prior to this. Card Cash guarantees their cards up to 40 days after their purchase, but after the 40 days they will do nothing to rectify the situation. We buy gift cards to use at various restaurants over a long period, say a year or more, so it's ridiculous to use all of these cards in only 40 days just to ensure that they work correctly. Card Cash needs to make these cards good or refund my money.Business Response

9/10/2022 I attempted to sell a 500 bed Bath and beyond gift card to this Cash Card.com. I realized that I would have to mail the cards as they could not be processed electronically so decided not to accept the terms, but In the matter of 1 day, the balance on my gift card had been used to make a purchase on Bed bath and Beyond.com Luckily I caught it right away and contacted BB&B and thy got their fraud team on it. I have proof that it was my card and once I receive the transaction information from the fraud claim I filed with BB&B I am seriously considering contacting the authorities. Company sells discounted gift card that engage in fraud - they sell Target gift cards that are attached to other Target customer wallets. This is clear fraud - however they refuse to issue refunds when a card is attached to someone else's wallet - forcing you to either lose money or commit fraud. This is not acceptable. CardCash is a secondary marketplace selling pre-owned gift cards at a discount. As is clearly (and prominently) stated on the website, some Target cards may not be able to be added to customers' wallets, yet can still be used both online and in-store. *************** had been advised of this repeatedly both by our customer service and claims departments. The card in question for which he filed a claim, has a full balance and is available to be used in the manner indicated on the website.

I am rejecting this response because:When you purchase a gift card you should be able to use it any way you wish - the fact that this business sells gift cards that are attached to other Target customers wallets is FRAUD, plain and simple. The party purchasing the card has no way of knowing if this card is an active card for another party. It places the user in jeopardy with ************ for using fraudulent payment methods. By encouraging their customers to use the cards attached to other people's wallets (personal accounts), Cardcash is encouraging its own customers to commit fraud against Target and against Target customers.
The gift cards sold to customers should not have the baggage of being possibly belonging to others.
A customer can not reach an American, US based employee of the company. The company's own employee in charge of "Customer Experience" refused to speak with me or respond to my emails, even going so far as to block me on LinkedIn. This is after I have spent well over $100K over the years with this company.
This company is clearly a fraud - their presence is the ***** area is *** simply be a shell company for an overseas group, fraudulently selling stolen gift cards. If it isn't - then why can't US based employees be reached?
Bottom line: I tried to reach an executive of the company in good faith and was ignored at all levels. This company is a fraud. Prove me wrong and call me to discuss. I'm happy to withdraw this complaint after a productive, professional conversation with someone from the senior leadership team of CardCash.
