I went to purchase about 200 dollars worth of things at the store . Upon leaving I didnt know we couldnt take the carts out of the store . Loss prevention informed me very nastily that I couldnt take the cart out so I said ok well I have to leave my purchased items here while I bring my car up to the store because it was too much to carry . When I went back in the girl working boss prevention took my cart with my purchased items and and put it back to where the empty carts were so anybody could grab my things. She wasnt at the door when I entered so I grab the cart and bout it out to the in form of the door where the side so I can transfer into my car . The woman came out trying to grab the cart while Im putting the things in my cart and then she started trying to grab my bags from me . I told her to get off of my items . And she called me a rude b**** . I then told her to keep her hands off my stuff and she said b**** tell ur mom to **** my p**** . The incident got so bad with words going back and forth . I was humiliated and will never ever go back to the store . People like that shouldnt be allowed to work in customer service . I am a nurse and I take pride in caring for people but how she treated and talked to me was totally uncalled for,Initial Complaint

I opened a credit card with this company and it's the worst experience ever I've been on phone for 46 minutes and no one is picking up. I at this point want to close this account because I am being billed twice. I paid in full my first time using card to keep open status and I have all these late charges after I paid the balance. No one sends me my statement in the mail even after I called for it. I ended up paying online and never getting the statement in the mail and no1 is answering the phone it's been 50 minutes nowInitial Complaint

I was shopping at the Burlington’s and it was 1154 and they came over the intercom saying that they would be closing at midnight. I was looking at one last thing and on my way to the register when a lady walked up to me and told me that I was unable to check out because they closed the registers. The sign on the door says they close at midnight and this is not the first time that this is happened. I’ve showed up before before midnight and they have been closed. I had to put my things on hold and come back another time so I don’t have time to come during the day so I do my shopping at night and thought that this was a convenient place because they’re open until midnight. Unfortunately was wrong because they close early because they’re lazy Unacceptable and I am super angry because I’m gonna have to drive all the way back out here to pick out the items that I had already picked out and something needs to be done about itInitial Complaint

Burlington is setting up with the technically charges. Charges that is ridiculous. This need to stop or needs to explain well to their customers, and I want my money be send back to us.ON 3/7/2024 Purchased was made on ********************, in the amount of $172.04. 4/9/24 Payment was posted for the amount of $102.04. 4/23/24 Burlington Charged $2.00 for interest.3/7/24 Payment of $72.19 At this point Payment to $172.23 and the $2.00 interest is already paid off.. Total page $174.04 Now that our account is zero balance Burlington still charged us on 4/23/24 of $2.00, even sero charges. Then on 6/18*/2024 another $2.00 for late fee.I called the Burlington and discussed what was going on....they can not rectify the problem, and on the end I end up total charges of $8.00 for interest.This needs to be stop and the people need to know I think is a set up.Initial Complaint

I went to Burlington today 6/26 at 5:00pm located at ***** ********** ****, Sugar Land, TX 77479.
I spoke to the manager Karyl because the store had no air conditioning and the employees were complaining and asking to go home due to temperatures reaching nearly 100 degrees today but they were told they were not allowed to go home. I confronted Karyl and told her this treatment is unacceptable and that they should not force their employees to work in these type of conditions until the air conditioning has been fixed. She laughed in my face and told me the AC had been out since this morning and she refused to do anything about it.Initial Complaint

5/31/2024 at Burlington store at ************, *** I tried on a pair of Nautica trousers : green corduroy. I went to the trial room on 2nd floor, showed trousers to **** the staff member and went in to a cubicle. When I pulled the pants up, I felt intense pain on my left thigh. A security device with a pin was in the trouser, improperly secured and this had lacerated my left thigh. I immediately took a video, informed the staff who did not even have an disinfectant. I called the manager, who treated it like a joke even when I said that there was a risk of HIV and/or Hepatitis transmission from this. I asked her to hold the trousers as evidence. I called 911 who asked me to go to the *** I did. I also contacted my personal doctor. I am autistic and diabetic and a heart patient. I was shocked and am in terror. Subsequent visits to the store showed that such pins were lying around all over the place hurting other customers. Also pieces of glass. The stores are grossly mismanaged and are a health risk. I have videos. including one where a pin from a security device pierced a man's foot. These people do not take customer safety seriously. I called and complained to their corporate HQ and they did nothing.Initial Complaint

I entered into the new Burlington in ********* ca on the evening if September 5th *************************** a local hotel during a last minute trip due to a family emergency. I arrived intending to pick up clothing and supplies for the next few days for myself and my 3 children as we did not get to go home and pack before needing to rush to help a family member. Thankfully my mother stayed at the hotel with my kids! Being my first time ever at a Burlington store, I was initially thrilled and had a basket that was already half full about 15 min after I arrived and was thankful for the distraction after such a hard day. While looking at the womens clothing I didnt know at first their were suddenly two people speaking to me since I am hard of hearing, until a loud male voice startled me when suddenly yelling Maam! While standing behind me. I turned to find a police officer and a manager. She claimed that the corporate office called because they spotted me and recognized me from 2 previous visits over the last few months that involved stealing shoes and running out the door? I shared that I had never been in this store or any Burlington store ever in my life and actually dont even live locally so they are mistaken. They insisted the person was me or looked exactly like me and then told me I have to leave and am not welcome back ever and further humiliated me by having the officer ****** me out despite my lack of protest. I have since called their corporate office and filed a complaint 3 times and have never recieved a call back and am still very angry about this. Customer burned gas to do a return. Told come back Friday, they can’t take any returns this week due to inventory. Shocked! Ok, I also explain concern for return with in the time frame of one month, Friday will be to late. Is it ok. I was told no. Ask for a manager. The manager sent a message, saying no, I can’t return. Receipt date: 5/02/24. Thank God I notice, According to my loyalty, on the bottom of the receipt said return up to 06/16/2024. Unapologetic, incompetent, … in addition to annoying, no one at Burlington is refunding my gas to return items a second time. Thirdly I will not want to deal with such incompetence again. Very poor customer service. Manager was of no assistance, didn’t even care to address the customer. Careless, inconsiderate… Denton Tx location. I purchased a luggage but they had them chained up so I wasn’t able to see that the luggage was ripped on the inside. Upon finding that I also noticed that one of the wheels was slightly cracked. When I went back to the store to try and return it they were extremely rude and did not want to help me exchange or refund this company is negative. I had a horrible shopping experience
