      I put layaway at Burlington ******* location. The store abruptly closed, did not notify me of the closing or reopening and have not given me any of my money back. I have been in contact with the ********** corporate headquarters via phone, via email and store managers ******** and *********. Well ********* located my layaway and receipts and turned everything in. I also submitted and resubmitted my banking transactions proof from my account where the money was taken from my account. They kept the merchandise and my money. Recently they have not responded to my emails. My purchases/layaway were on March 7th 2020 and were posted to my account on March 15, 2020. They let the manager ********* go/terminated her for assisting me. How is a business able to steal my money with no recourse and resolution. I have all of the emails and transactions.

      **************** is very rude to the point where they hurt customers whether it's with their words or physical their store is always dirty filthy their products are always on the floor or in a pile where you can't figure out what is what fitting rooms are always locked so you can't even try on the clothes to see if it fits The lines to wait are about 45 minutes long and the workers are always on their phone not paying attention to customers The manager is very very rude yelling at customers All you have to do is look at their reviews it's appalling how they treat customers that are spending hard earned money. If you could maybe look into the management and the workers and just clear them out and get new people in there it would be a better store this is the worst Burlington I've ever walked into and I've been in a lot of them around the country from ******* all the way to **********. it's ridiculous

      I have been to this Burlington for years theyve had a theft Issue but its not the actual customers issues they refuse to re open the bathrooms and I have children and a bowel myself so instead of me having to walk all the way back home or to another store they need to re open the bathrooms and i just gave birth and would like to try on clothes to see what fits but since I have been here at this location they will not open the dressing rooms either this is unprofessional and unacceptable

      I visited Burlington on *********** on Friday October 13, 2023. Everything was fine until the last 15 minutes due to the fact that the store was closing down. I work all day so I couldn't be there earlier. I was looking to buy some jackets and was browsing through the aisle. I was confused between 3 or 4 selection so I had pulled those out and put them on top of the others so I don't lose track of where the item was and help me decide which one to purchase. However a lady that worked there approached me and my friend and asked us 4 times in a row "Are you buying all that?" We answered no each time and she left saying things like "Crazy! Can you believe this?" And a few minutes later i could hear her speaking ill of me and my friend to someone saying things like "I just did the aisle can you believe that? I have to recover everything again! How crazy is that? Can you believe this?" over about 4-5 shirts that i pulled out of the aisle. So I approached her and politely asked her for her name since she is not wearing any name tags whatsoever. She refused to give me any sort of name so I took a picture of what she looked like and went to pay for the products I wanted to purchase. As Im paying i could see her by the registers explaining things to the supervisors. When I went to speak to the supervisors about the matter they were being very unprofessional and rude in the beginning not letting me or my friend explain how things went and saying things like "What you did was illegal! You cannot take pictures of my employees without their consent!" After struggling to speak I finally was able to explain the entire situation to them then I was told by them to contact corporate if I wanted to file a complaint and that they would see to it. When i asked them "How would they see to it if I do not provide a name or a picture of the employee? How would they know who I am talking about?" They again got angry and said that's their problem on how they handle it. So i left it at that and as I'm walking out the lady that was originally saying insulting things was now telling the customers that were waiting in line about how she feels attacked by the fact i took a picture and how illegal it is. This is defamation of my image in public. I tried to go about this matter respectfully since the beginning I did not yell at her or anything of the sort to deserve this kind of customer service. It's unacceptable.

      I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this location with an extremely rude manager named ***** located in ****************, ** @ ***************************************** I bought a dress here a few days ago for an event this weekend and my husband and I were trying on our outfits. Thats when I noticed the dress was damaged as the zipper would not fully go up. I drove back to the store to express my concerns regarding the dress and I was met by the extremely rude manager named *****. The manager shows no sympathy what so ever, giving a very rude attitude and look towards me. Extremely unprofessional. I unfortunately do not have the receipt as it was thrown away in the Burlington bag at home that day by mistake. I was pleading with them to please just let me exchange it for the same thing as I wasnt asking for my money back. The manager literally walked away from me as I was speaking to her. I have never seen such bad service in my life.

      My name is Tequila my daughter and I went into Burlington Coat Factory on August 5 to go school shopping. We where in Burlington about maybe 5 to 10 minutes when an employee approached us . She stated that her supervisor asked me to leave the premises. I asked her how come she stated she didnt know. I asked to speak to the supervisor.When the supervisor approached us. He already had an attitude. I asked him the same question why do we have to leave the store? I stated we just been in here for about 5 to 10 minutes. You can take a look at your cameras. He stated on Friday, August 4 he watched me stealing a bag full of clothes. I was so confused I stated no you did not see me and your store Friday night stealing anything? I explain to him that I do have a job not just one three jobs and there was no need for me to be stealing out of a store. He stated that I was a liar and a thief and he watch me steal. He then kicked me out of the store. I went outside. I stood out there and I called the police which they did nothing .I dont know what to do from this point need some kind of assistance.I also called and made a complaint with Burlington coat factory complaint department on August 8. I made the initial complaint August 14 I called back to check the status of the complaint which nothing has happened. Call back today which is August 21 still nothing help me please.

      Every time I go shopping at this store I am followed around as if I were a shoplifter, I tell them I buy something every time I am here and to stop.

      For the past 3 years this Burlington on ****************** in the Bronx has become one of the worst shopping stores in **. I have never seen a Burlington this bad. They have 3 floors with several departments on the third floor and have completely shut down the second and third floor registers/ cashiers. The line on the 1st/ main floor only has 2 cashiers and people stand on the line for 2 hours or more!! The elevator barely works! The staff does not allow customers to use the back exit, they dont allow customers to use the bathroom. The line will have 200+ customers but the store general manager refuses to open second and third floor cashiers/ check out. There are always fights breaking out on the line. People are treated like herded cows on that line. The aggressive tension arises in customers and people have stolen from the store because of long lines. Its truly disgusting

      I purchased a comforter set very recently from Burlington on (*********************************************************************) I was sold a defective product. The product has rips at the edges. I tried to return this item and the store manager *****/**** told me that they cannot return any comforters that have been opened and he will not exchange or return the item. He told me to contact the corporate office and gave me no other assistance. I would like my money returned. If Burlington has such policies, it should be made known to customers to make an informed decision before the purchase of the item. No one told me while I was purchasing this item that they cannot return the item if opened. I have the original packaging. The cost was about $50. I want my money back and feel that the company needs to change its product quality and change their exchange policy or inform customers before selling products.

      Recently I purchased a suitcase from one of the Burlington stores, this one is located at ****************************************************************************************, I packed items in the suitcase to go on my trip and after packing and lifting the suitcase by the handle to head to the airport, the handle broke, I had to leave the suitcase and upon returning from my trip I visited the Burlington store and explained what happened and requested a refund for the faulty item, the manager flatly refused my request and suggested that I cal the suitcase manufacture, I advised that no number was provided to me by the store and the store rep did ask if I'm a loyalty and suggested that loyalty members are able to take items back for a refund. They lied and I need my refund for the item, Kindly assist.
