Our residential community call box was hit by an Amazon delivery driver who drove off without reporting it. We promptly reported the damage to the Amazon ARC team, as our maintenance staff saw it occur. We have uploaded all necessary bids, photos, videos and supporting documents per ******* and cannot get a return response. This incident occurred in January 2023. For a period our community had to leave the gates open for residents, guests and delivery drivers to enter. At this point we have replaced and repaired everything necessary for the residents to enter our gated community as they cannot without said call box. We have emailed three different email addresses, including ******* who responded once in January. We need to rectify the money spent to repair the call box that was damaged by an Amazon employee. We have called and/or emailed every few days for months but we never get a response back or an answer after March 10, 2023 response from ******* directing ** to upload bids and supporting photos and videos. It would have been greatly appreciated for the ARC Claims through Amazon to do what they are supposed to do and respond/complete out the claim submitted in January of 2023.

I was not able to locate this file in our inventory. I sent an email to the claimant on 6/29/23 requesting the ARC file number for this claim. A second request was sent to the claimant today. I will follow up with the claimant upon receipt of the ARC file number.

The file was closed due to the fact the claimant did not submit an estimate after multiple requests. An estimate was submitted after the file was closed. I have contact the supervisor and the adjuster assigned to the claim and requested the file be reopened and the claimant be contacted.

On 1/31/23 a ***** driver hit my full brick mailbox (3 guys couldn't move it) laying it out in my lawn. The crash was so loud my neighbor across the street ran outside. He saw the driver laying rubber and going through my next door neighbors lawn. I went to the police **** who said there had been no report made. I called ***** who looked at the video and admitted their driver did the damage. I was referred to ****** got 2 estimates, one I felt wasn't adequate, the 2nd I decided to go with. *** sent over their own adjuster who parked across the street and never got out of his truck because it was raining. Over the next 2 1/2 months I spoke with at least 18 people, some of them several times. A supervisor attempted to low ball the estimate by $1343.+ and said they would take off an additional $100.86 for depreciation. I said there is no ***** Blue Book on mailboxes. Even my mail carrier laughed at this. I told them I was ready to take them to court and it would cost more for their lawyer to show up plus court costs, etc. A supervisor, ****, gave me the name of their legal rep but refused any further info (i.e. phone number, address, email address) saying he would contact me. He didn't so I had to skip trace his info and called him on his personal cell phone. He was impressed that I could find him. He said he was never told about my case. After speaking with him in great length he agreed that the full amount was owed to me and sent an email to me indicating the same. By the next week I received a check in the full amount. I should never have had to go through the hassle of this and with the post office who threatened to return my mail if I didn't get the situation fixed immediately or get a po box. Everyones consensus was at least it wasn't a 7 year old girl that was hit and killed (RIP ********

Had an Amazon driver shove a 20 pound box into a very expensive planter full of expensive succulents and a king **** that was snapped at the base, causing about ******* in damages according to my landscaper who installed the planter and who takes care of them. Amazon sent me an ********* that I filled out the day of and submitted (March 15th). I heard nothing until yesterday when I got a missed call from my adjuster who goes by both ***** and ******. I called back and it goes straight to voice-mail. 2 minutes later, with no contact with me, she sends me a settlement offer of 75 dollars and asks if I want a paper check mailed (30 day turnaround!) Or a digital check I can print out at home and take to a "big chain bank as some smaller financial institutions do not accept them." After contacting Amazon back to escalate this issue, they simply transferred my call to a random ARC agent who told me that I would have to wait to talk to ***** when she contacts me again to hear anything about my claim and I just need to have patience. When I told her it's been a month with no answer and I don't appreciate being lowballed for damage caused by someone else, she told me I was rude and that they work very hard and are very busy, ignoring the fact that I'm taking time out of MY workday as they don't respond to emails and close at 2pm PT as they are east coast based. When I asked to speak to a supervisor and if the call was being recorded she said she didn't know and that I couldn't talk to anyone else, refused to give her name AND HUNG UP ON ME. She also claimed that they are NOT an insurance company and are a compensation company... a company contracted with Amazon to reimburse customers when property damage occurs... that's the definition of an insurance policy in my book! They call themselves adjusters which is an insurance industry term, but they aren't insurance? I guess they're compensation adjusters then! Whatever that means! Don't trust them to fix ANYTHING! SCAM!!!!!

On December 16th, 2022 an Amazon delivery driver drove approx 30 feet onto newly laid sod, leaving tire 3-4" tire imprints in the sod. The driver did a 3 point turn in our driveway and left the property in almost the same way, leaving identical tire imprints on the sod. Luckily, or so we thought, we had video of the incident. We reported the incident to Amazon and a claim was filed with ARC. We provided the video of the act and pictures of the damage to ARC. On January 16, 2023 ARC sent an email notifying us of that an available claim payment, in the amount of $350, was available through an electronic portal. Around this time we obtained an estimate for repairing the damage - which is approximately $1,100.In contesting the settlement amount, we were told by an ARC **** ***** on February 10th that we could provide an estimate of damages. We uploaded the estimate we had obtained the same day. Following several telephone attempts by us to discuss the matter with our adjuster ****** we were finally able to get through. ***** informed us that ARC policy is to not accept estimates/quotes on Amazon settlement claims. We were also told by ***** that her supervisor approved the amount and the claim was settled from their viewpoint - no explanations given. We contested the claim via email and on February 24th we were informed via email that our claim had been "escalated" and someone would reach out for a second look.As of this writing, April 11th, I have made dozens of calls (most of which go to VM) and spoken to several individuals who have been unable (unwilling) to assist - other than to tell me the adjuster will contact us within 48 - 72 hours. All VMs to our adjuster go unanswered. My experience is similar to most other reviews here on unfortunately. I am preparing a similar complaint as this to submit to ********** Consumer Affairs. We will also be in contact with an attorney and, for whatever it's worth, copy Amazon legal.

This company undercut me on a claim payment but I was willing just to accept any payment as theyve made it an impossible process. The first check they sent me bounced. Now they are refusing to pay me.

Made a claim over a month ago after a Fed Ex van put 1' deep ruts in our yard (grass area) and sprayed an entire side of our home with mud. Some chunks as big as a softball size instead of waiting for my landlord who was minutes away to pull him out since he didn't stay on the gravel portions. Once I submitted a claim and all documentation and got a quote to have it repaired, I have not heard anything else since. 2/16/2023 it's now 3/28/2023. Since we are renting, we will now have to cover costs ourselves to our landlords to fix Fed Ex's mistakes! $800+ down the drain for something we didn't even do!

Why can't you offer ZERO stars? The Amazon driver pulled into our driveway to throw a package out. Backing out, the driver backed over our mailbox. Once the driver recognized what happened, they were seen actually getting out and trying to straighten to pole back up and then left. We were not contacted by Amazon at any time about this and it is clearly a hit and run with the driver knowing what he did. Based on this being a hit and run, according to ******* law O.C.G.A. 40-6-270, if a person is involved in an accident with another vehicle or property (such as a fence or mailbox), they are required to exchange contact information with the owner of the property, even if you do not know who the owner is. Failing to do so results in a hit-and-run charge with a $500 penalty and a license suspension. With $2,000 worth of damage, the resolution offered was $600. Their process for determining both the material cost and labor cost for the repair was laughable, the adjuster did not have the ***** to call me. At one point they commented in an email that I should, "kindly note this is a goodwill gesture hence we did not receive any irrefutable proof confirming Amazon driver is the direct cause of those damages." We have a new police report with witnesses stating they saw the driver do this, yet *** refuses to return a call back now. They mailed a check and closed the case. So...I'm back to Amazon to let them know what a crooked company they have working for them.
