On Jan 19, 2025 an Amazon driver backed over my mailbox. ****** put me in touch with ARC and they opened a claim. After filing the claim, I did not hear back anything. I received one email a few weeks later requesting further photographic proof. I restated (this is the quick version): 1)I heard it happen while in my den 2)My wife saw the delivery truck right after, parked down the road 3)My neighbor witnessed the delivery and the accident 4)The mailbox is bent against traffic flow so it being just a passerby is unlikely I contacted them multiple times requesting updates, offering more info, and to discuss it on the phone. I received no replies. After 3 months I informed ARC I am filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and I received an email reply 3 minutes later denying my claim.Basically, they are implying that unless I have video evidence of Amazon Prime driving over my mailbox, they are rejecting the claim. I checked and no doorbell or security cameras reach my mailbox. So, I would need to manually record every Amazon delivery as it happens, on the outside chance they may drive over my mailbox. That is absurd. I can only conclude that ARC does not conduct claims reviews in good faith and that I have been railroaded towards this denial. Further proof is that my only (and last) two email replies happened in 3 minutes. They could not have read my email and responded in that time. I must be getting form letters. They should put their email reply-bot on a delayed timer to make it at least look like they reviewed my email!By their actions, in my opinion this is not an insurance company. It is a sham front stalling claims and hoping people will give up and just go away.ARC Claims Management

The file reflects Claimant did not notice damage until the following day. They further contended that their neighbor (after the fact) had seen an AMZ driver hit mailbox and flee scene. (described only as a white female with blonde hair)Demand made for $1,696.54 (noted issues - part of demand - $1,359.54 for "light post" which there is none noted - there is one on property - approx 10 yds behind mailbox along driveway/ NOT RELATED TO LOSS. As well as $118.00 demand for new BOX of metal stakes (10) which exceeds scope of damage claimed - (1) One Stake The adjuster emailed claimant 02/07/25 with request for any evidence to support claim 02/09 Claimant responded with "I don't know what further evidence I can provide"Scott S

Addressing each point ARC makes. 1) Correct, we did not notice the damage until the next day. The reason for this is the Amazon driver left the scene instead of doing "the right" thing and letting us know it occurred. Further, in ********* on 1/19 at just before 7pm it is dark. Also, my house is approx ******************************* the suburbs, you cannot see the mailbox at night. 2) Correct, my neighbor contacted me the next day. That still does not preclude the fact that they witnessed it happen. This is not an emergency in the big picture of life. Just something that needs to be properly addressed. 3) The $1359.94 is not for the "light post". It is the replacement cost for the mailbox and the mailbox post and the post wrap. I included a receipt from ************ (whom I have already purchased the replacement mailbox and post from) showing this and attached to the original claim. Part numbers clearly indicate this is for the mailbox, my lamp post is just fine and not part of this claim. Also, I did not choose this mailbox, it is specifically required per our Subdivision Deed Restrictions. 4) I agree one stake is all that is in scope for the claim. That is why I only included a $11.80 estimate in the total damage claim. I included a screen shot of of a box of 10 costing $118 to attempt to provide validity to the estimate that one would cost $11.80. This screen shot is in the document named "Replace One Metal Stake" and the heading shows the $11.80 estimate. 5) The statement that "The adjuster emailed claimant 02/07/25 with request for any evidence to support claim 02/09 Claimant responded with "I don't know what further evidence I can provide"" is mostly accurate but taken out of context. The email on 2/7 (the ONLY CONTACT ARC EVER MADE WITH ME) specifically requested more video evidence. Better here is the email, it is not long..... Good Afternoon Thank you for your claim submission. We are in the process of reviewing this matter We further request you provide any photo, video or other evidence you may have to support your claim of ****** involvement in this matter. Upon receipt of this information, we shall continue our review Sincerely ARC My email reply on 2/9 stated I have filled out their claims form with a lot of information and (here is the accurate quoted reply) "Assuming I was successful in creating this claim form and uploading photos/documentation, I am uncertain what further evidence you are looking for." I then in a reply longer than all of these, I detailed that I did attempt to gather further video proof but my neighbors doorbells or security systems are not aimed at or see my mailbox. I then spelled out in more detail my points showing/proving that ****** did this and I would like compensation for damages. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I ended with "If you would like to coordinate a time for a phone call, I would be happy to oblige, but I would prefer to not spend too much more time in electronic documentation or conversations." Knowing I am in the right, I welcome(d) direct conversation in an attempt to avoid ************ conclude, after I sent my reply on 2/9, I NEVER HEARD FROM ARC AGAIN until I threatened to file a complaint against them with the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. This email was met with an email reply 3 minutes later informing me my claim has been denied and I was informed of this on 2/11. I have been using two email accounts to monitor this activity and neither got that reply, so it is my opinion that is a lie (that they sent me a reply on 2/11). Further, I followed up with a very long email restating my argument and stated I am moving forward with my complaint. This was also met with a reply exactly 3 minutes later. No human could have read my long reply in three minutes let along composed a response. In this form letter (sent by human or machine) ARC stated "We have carefully examined the details of your property damage claim. Based on our investigation, there was insufficient evidence or documentation to grant your claim". Based on the response ARC provided here, they obviously have not "carefully examined the details of your property damage claim" since they still don't even understand what it is I am asking coverage for, let alone how it all happened. This just further proves my point that ARC Claims Management simply ghosted me for THREE MONTHS hoping I would go away and did not research anything on good faith with me. In my opinion, this is a very shady business practice and not the way an insurance company should conduct business.ARC Claims Management

ARC represents ****** for damage to personal property. An Amazon driver hit and damaged my stone retaining wall during their delivery. I filed a claim for the damage. After multiple redundant emails asking me to submit the same information three different times, a person named ***** ****** called to discuss. I was explaining the damage and he interrupted and said "You think I'm stupid and don't know the difference between rock and stone?" He then was the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, ABSOLUTELY RUDE pathetic bully who thought it was okay to YELL and SCREAM at me for whatever triggered him. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said "Oh yeah, that's how you want to handle this? I'm not going to process your claim then." This person should be fired on the spot! ARC should be embarrassed, but based on the reviews from the BBB, sounds like a *********** altogether. Sorry ******, but you're accountable too!ARC Claims Management

Amazon driver ran over large wood poles that were secured to the sides of our driveway. We have all of it on video including the driver, license plate, the wood pole knocked into the grass and the sound of the crunch. It also left a large crack in the pole in addition to no longer being secured to the driveway. And she ran over and broke a sprinkler head. We provided all of the information required, including the video and photo of the damage and the ARC agent has responded with sassy emails claiming he doesn't believe it costs so much to replace (we spoke to a contractor about it and know exactly how much it costs) and demanding more photos even though they already have the strange photo at the angle with the house in the background as required. Once I saw how expensive it would be to replace and the difficulties working with the agent, we decided to file a claim with our insurance. Also our insurance suggested a police report since the driver hit this and drove away. When I mentioned this to the ARC agent I was met with another sassy reply about our deductible and how he thought it wouldn't be worth it to me. Not sure why he cares about our $75 deductible. Felt like an attempt to scare me away from making a complaint. Then he said he would close the case without proof even though they already have proof. This company is ******ARC Claims Management

After three weeks of waiting, today I received notice from ARC that I need to submit a claim to the ************** myself. All they provided was the **** policy number. I already had that from the police report, I could have done this myself weeks ago. This experience has been beyond frustrating.ARC Claims Management

The Amazon driver has his own Auto Liability policy. When *** concludes its investigation, the Amazon driver has the option of paying the claim or referring the claim to his insurance carrier. In this instance the claim was referred to the Amazon driver's insurance carrier.Review fromKELLY D

1 starIn January ***************************************************** that the new employee, 1st day on the job that was driving, backed over my entire mailbox breaking the post at ground level. Driver handed me a napkin with claim info on it and ARC phone number and informed me that he took pictures. i contacted ARC and after many messages that were left and no return call i finally got in contact with them after multiple multiple calls. They ended up denying the claim as i did not have pictures even though the driver who called in the claim did.called again today to speak with a supervisor...got their voicemail again. they are horrible! Just because i did not have pictures doesn't mean it didn't happen and ****** should cover the expenses. i have read the other reviews, so to ARC claims. My phone number is on my claim. Call me. Do not send an email.Review fromDouglas S

Worst company ever! Amazon driver, who works for Black Nile Logistics backed into my farm gate, destroying my post, gate, and fencing in February. Sent them a quote to repair and replace everything, with a response of they will only pay about 70%. You cannot speak to a live person, email only and you do not get answers. You ask them for more details in their quote, which is supposed to be base on your area and scope of work based on photos only. 3 months in and all i get is that its under Management review!I wish we can put 0 stars!ARC Claims Management

On 2/7/25 an Amazon driver backed up into my basketball hoop breaking the rim and backboard. The driver pulled out with the hoop stuck to his truck pulling out the base. I filed the report on 2/7/25 and received a claim number. After the initial response with my claim number I have emailed several times following up and left multiple voice mails as well with no replies to date. I filed video and pictures of the event but it seems my claim is being ignored.ARC Claims Management

12-4-24 Driver ran over my landscape lights while backing down my driveway. I provided clear evidence: photos of the damage, video of the incident, and a detailed list of replacement items and labor. I filed the claim in January 2025 with a total cost of $340.98. They responded end of March 2025, offering only $334.93with no explanation for the deduction.Since then, I rechecked the replacement costs (as of April 2025), and the total has actually gone up to $346.98. Despite this, they still refused to pay even the original amount. When I asked why, I received no clear answer and was met with rude and dismissive responses.Extremely unprofessional experience. I provided all the necessary proof and was treated poorly throughout the process.ARC Claims Management

I had the worst experience trying to get compensation after the driver of an Amazon delivery truck accidentally broke the front window of my house. His truck was stuck on the ice in front of my house, and he floored his truck's accelerator which shot gravel at my front window and broke it. My wife was at home at the time, heard the loud bang of the glass breaking, and (a) took a picture of the license plate, engaged in dialogue with the driver who acknowledge he broke the window, and (c) provided video evidence from our security cameras of the incident. All of this data was uploaded to ARC shortly after the incident. Aside from exceptionally poor to non-existent communication, despite my numerous emails and phone calls, they eventually denied the claim. They did not provide a reason, so I escalated the case. It was very difficult to get any information from ARC on how to escalate our case. I was sent on a wild goose ****** Eventually I did get hold of someone on their escalation team, and they were very helpful. After offering to have my neighbor talk to them, who also witnessed the event, they appealed the claim on our behalf and we received compensation. Why we were denied compensation in the first place was totally unacceptable, as the driver admitted what happened to ARC. I was told this by ARC when I asked questions about why the claim was initially denied. The emotional stress, and over 12 hours pursuing a resolution, is completely unacceptable, as was the lack of communication from ARC, during the process, up until their escalation team got involved. I would like an apology from the company. Nobody should have to go through this.ARC Claims Management
