      Tried MM in the past and received a couple orders and then they just stopped coming even though I was still placing the orders. Took me forever to get a hold of anyone at the company to let them know we had no longer been receiving the boxes. I stopped ordering from them as I could no longer rely on actually getting deliveries. Someone recently told me they had been ordering from them and had a good experience so I decided to give it another chance because I do like the mission of less food waste. Well Im sorry I gave them another chance. Our first week, had several order issues. Came a day late, missing an item, and eggs were rotten. I also ended up at the dr with stomach pain a few days after consuming the new foods we received and turns out it was e-coli. I did not even mention the e-coli because I cant prove where it came from. They at least refunded our shipping, the eggs, and the missing item so I decided to try a second week. When I went on the site to pick out my items for the next order, I saw my delivery day was different and I just thought it was because they were backed up. So I deleted the items that Misfits had chosen for me and confirmed my new items within the allotted time and waited for them to arrive. 2 days early, I got a box of food that was completely different and mostly foods that we do not eat. I reached out to ask what was going on and where this other box came from and the response I received was that I changed my delivery day which I did not do and somehow that created two orders? They refused to compensate me for the foods that I did not order. I also could not ever log into the app. Would tell me my password was wrong every time and make me change it and even after I had just changed it and 100% knew that I was not making an error, it still told me it was wrong. I couldnt even unsubscribe from emails as it would just send me to a blank page.I would never recommend this company to anyone (even tho they offer you money if you do)

I'm also very sorry for all the confusion about your first order back with ** and the speed bumps you ran into while we were merging our computer systems. That's just not the way we want to take care of you! I'm really glad you were able to reach out to our customer success team so that they were able to cancel your account for you. It also looks like we've refunded the charge for this order to your card but if you're still seeing a charge for the March 29 order, please reach back out to ** so we can research this for you and make sure it is refunded.       There was a second box added that the company states that I requested when there was no action taken on my part to create a new order, only to edit the order that they had created. When reaching out to customer service they stated that there was nothing they could do/were willing to do. In response to this I stated I will be cancelling my account. Without my consent the customer service agent cancelled the account resulting in my rewards being revoked. I had planned on using these credits prior to cancelling the account. Once again they are saying there is no way to rectify the situation. I would reccomend staying far away from this company.

I'm very sorry for the confusion about how we work and about your January 22 order with **. We're a subscription service which means that we promise to send you groceries each week unless you skip an order before your shopping window closes for it. We explain this while customers sign up and in our welcome email once you open your account. We also send you reminders to shop for your orders when your shopping window opens. I'm really glad that you were able to reach out to our customer success team when this happened and they were able to refund 50% of the charge for this order to your card. They were also able to cancel your account for you but I'm really glad to see you've rejoined ** on our a la carte service that will only send you orders when you shop for them.       I was a very happy customer of Imperfect foods for about 2 years, a company with an almost identical business model and website set up to Misfits. We are preparing to move at the end of this month, and I realized that Imperfect does not service our new address. Misfits, however, which recently merged with Imperfect, does service the new address. I set up our Misfits account with our new address, and, prior to the end of the shopping window for the weekly delivery, skipped the first two weeks of deliveries, as we will not live at that address until the beginning of Feb. and we literally cannot access the address. The skip process appeared straightforward and almost exactly like Imperfect's, with which I am very familiar. I received no further communication from Misfits until several days later, when it notified me that my order was confirmed and would ship in 3 days. I immediately reached out to Misfits, using their email as they don't have a phone number (utterly ridiculous, btw, for a business with a time-sensitive nature), to let them know there was a mistake somewhere and asking to cancel the order. In the 4 days since, I have contacted the company 1/2 a dozen times and received NO response - not even a "Sorry, we can't help." The box shipped, and will sit there and rot for 2 weeks, and I was charged for the order. This is not a function of the type of business - Imperfect is nearly identical and when I had this exact issue with a supposedly skipped Imperfect box, I was able to call them and use an online chat feature to immediately let them know, and because it was shortly after my cart had finalized, they were able to cancel the order because THEY HAVE A PHONE and send customers reminders that they have a few hours remaining until their cart automatically ships. All that to say, it is not rocket science - it is entirely possible to use this exact business model and not steal money from customers by sending a cart closing notification and having a phone number.

      You are unable to browse in the site without entering your personal information, including your payment method and then suddenly you receive an email that you ordered when you took no other action, but entering your information. To add, the small print tells you that you have within ***** hours to cancel an order & that there isn't a phone #, but you will be contacted within 48 hrs when you request contact via their website. It never happens, you only continue to receive marketing emails, order confirmation & any notification regarding your payment. I am still waiting for a dialogue re: closing/deleting my account. BEWARE!!!

      I did not place an order. You can't look at their website without giving them your credit card number. No wonder they only offer an email address for complaints. What a shady company. Of course they aren't a member of the BBB, they are breaking the law. No need to advertise that. I'm going to investigate what State and Federal Bureaus I can file a complaint with.

      I previously ordered from Misfits Market a couple of years ago. I moved outside their area at the time. OOOOO they deliver to my area now, let me sign up because I had no issues in PA when I lived there. I now live in **. They didn't deliver here in 2020 when I moved. The local ******** market closes over the winter...let me see if I can get Misfits again...OOOOOOO they now deliver to my area. First couple deliveries, they were great. All of a sudden I get **** misfits perks and order them, my box that the free items are in gets delayed and then cancelled. Coincidence? Seems like it. I have emailed twice about getting these perk items valued at $30 or more. They lose my box, refund my money for an inconvenience fee of $10. It cost me that much in eggs at the grocery store, not to mention the other items that got "lost". I have always received quick responses from emailing concerns to Misfits before cashing in my perks. Now my box is cancelled and I am refunded for everything except the $30 in free perks I was supposed to get. Coincidence? Starting to think not. Emailed X2 no response. Never refunded perks. We shall see if I get my order this week. My motto is three strikes you're out. They mess up this week, I am done. Not impressed at all. Y'all get a ONE star review because right now you ****.

      charged 750$ for an order I did not place! If you leave anything in your cart, it is processed automatically as an order- without your permission. Can you imagine if this happened with your amazon cart or other stores? There is no number to call on their website. They are still processing the order, which is four boxes of food. If it is still being processed, why can't they cancel it? I am so stressed out. This was my mortgage money for the month, not my food budget! This company is fraudulent. Stay away from their website, and never give them your credit card information. I did not place this order! This is criminal. I called my bank to cancel the payment.

      1. I was only looking at a possible a la carte order, NOT a weekly subscription order and could only tally the total amount by putting everything in my cart. I abandoned my cart & a few days later a charge for over $100 appeared on my account. I did NOT authorize this order. 2.) I received several notifications that the order was going to be delayed. I filled out a contact form, asking for a refund. No response. Then a text notification that the order was damaged due to the delays. THEN after this 3rd party vendor contacted Misfits, I got a notification that they were told to deliver the damaged (spoiled fish and meat) ANYWAY. WTH? What kind of business is this? They take your money without consent and then bait and switch?! How is this not theft and fraud? Very simply, this ecommerce model is creating a lot of dissatisfied customers and makes it appear as though the company has poor management, poor customer service capacity and/or is in financial straits.

      I have only had 2 orders from this company and both were wrong. This order for today contained less than HALF the items I ordered and upon complaint they tell me to wait for an email. I work all day to come home and use my ingredients only to find my box basically empty. I am disgusted at this point !
