I was using Misfits for a few months and at the beginning, I really enjoyed it. I was able to select produce and other pantry items for a reduced cost, I also was receiving a discount on my first few boxes. In the recent weeks, the quality of the products has been very poor - including rotten or near rotten foods. This past week, I hit "skip order" in the app but it must not have gone through because I was charged for a box of items they picked for me. I contacted customer service to request a cancellation and they told me it was already processed for shipping and they were unable to cancel my order - no option or offer to refund my money or give me a coupon for the next box. Any other company would have offered to either refund my money or give me a free box for the next week to keep my business. So, I responded and requested a refund and they told me no and just reiterated a second time that it auto ships unless I skip it, which I'm well aware of and did but it went through anyway. As soon as I received the 2nd response saying they would not give me a refund, I cancelled my plan with them and will not return.Misfits Market

Signed up and it clearly says on the screen that card wont be charged until you order. So I think. Thats good. I enter my card info (huge mistake) then got busy and forgot about it until 2-3 days later I get an email thanking me for my order. I was like what order. I go and look and its showing an order placed and after going and looking and reading faqs it says an order would be automatically placed if your minimum was $35. So perfect for them they build your basket with that much it. I didnt even k let one had been made. Tricked into ordering $50 worth of food I will not eat and also caused an overdraft on my bank account because I didnt have the funds but my bank covered the item. Of course there is. I phone number to reach these people. Beware people of this very shady company.Misfits Market

Do not order from them! I was intrigued yesterday and looked, was not impressed because the prices are not great, actually more than my local store so I left my cart. Wake up today to overdraft because they took it upon themselves to place an order for me!!! I have emailed them and now have to wait for a response. Absolutely ridiculous, just dont do it. Terrible organization. Misleading. Poorly run.They don't allow you to see anything that's available until you sign up for a plan. They take your credit card and all your information then refuse to cancel your subscription, which I placed and requested 2 mins after sign up. They don't have full size products like milk, their produce are overpriced and I haven't even gotten to the cost of shipping/delivery. I have contacted several times customer service and still no reply. They don't even have a phone number! Now they have all my information and who knows what they are going to charge me.Misfits Market

However, when comparing the average grocery bill for organic produce and other high-quality grocery items we offer, we estimate that our customers save 25-40% versus grocery stores or other delivery services.The savings can vary depending on where you live/the availability of local groceries and organic produce, but when comparing apples to apples (so to speak), the overall savings are still there. I am another one of your unsatisfied customers, very unhappy at your non-existent customer service. I like the idea of organic food and all but I really did not want to place an order, not even having sent it to me which I did not authorize and the only way was because my credit card was part of my profile and so you charge me for something I did not even authorize and usually you send it back when you're not happy, but there's no way to send it back to you. In short, please refund my money! It's pretty bad when you don't even approve an order to be sent to you but your company just sends it to me anyway and charges my credit card without me saying anything. Isn't that a bit fraudulent? With as many people as up in arms about the poor customer service of your company, I can kind of see a class action lawsuit against your company for reasons that you know good and well you are misrepresenting your good name and stealing our money at the same time. I really want to see something done, this is just not right whatsoever!Misfits Market

I was curious and really wanted to like this. My husband and I love vegetables. And with a newborn I really wanted the ease of having the foods I like delivered to me door. However the veggies were very underwhelming. They weren't very good quality and pretty much all of them went bad within 2 days of arriving. To top it off I ordered cold foods, never received any of it. Were talking different types of meat and fish, like 10 items total. They did refund it but for being my first box it turned me off and I won't be back.Misfits Market

Was a charged for a box of food EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT GO THROUGH WITH FINALIZING MY SUBSCRIPTION. How? Misfits Market requires cc information in order for one to "build" a delivery box. Spent some time considering options and decided the subscription wasn't for me. I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR BOX, it's arriving today, and here's the kicker: it's full of things I don't eat lol. Who made the decision to sign me up? Not me Who decided what to put in the box? Not Me Who is being charged $48 dollars. Me. I expect a full refund. It's a pity you waste food as you do, forcing boxes of unwanted food on people. That doesn't seem to fit well with your branding, does it?Misfits Market
