      I went on this website thinking I could save a little money on groceries since my husband was laid off and my home was taken away from my family by a tornado, I went on this site to look around and NEVER once did I put in any of my credit card information and somehow this company seemed to ****** it up anyways!!!! I was recently charged for a box and delivery has been set up for September!!! Unbelievable how scammers get your personal detail information, if my family hasnt been through enough being homeless!!!! I would most definitely give this company a 0 star but its not available!!!! Not a happy person right now. Shame on people like this!!!!

That's just not the way we want to take care of you!We're a subscription service which means that we promise to send you groceries each week unless you skip an order before your shopping window closes for it. The last button you have to push to create your account and start shopping that is right below where you enter your credit card info makes it clear you are purchasing a subscription service that will automatically populate and send you a box of groceries each week. You can't view our inventory without opening an account and you can't open an account without entering your payment info and pushing the start shopping button. We don't have access to your payment info any other way.I'm really glad that you were able to reach out to our customer care team when this happened and they were able to pause your account and move you to our Flex Plan so we won't be sending you or charging you for groceries unless you actively shop for them. You can cancel your account on your My Plan page and scrolling to the bottom of the page for "Need a Break."We're not able to refund this order to you since it's already been disputed at your bank. I can tell you that we will abide by the bank's decision in that dispute.Thank you for the chance to work with you on this.       0 stars if I could. EXTREMELY hard to contact. My card is being charged for an order I did NOT want. I tried skipping, pausing, contacting the company via company page. There is NO contact number to reach a live human being. This is incredibly frustrating. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE my card to be charged like this and I can't even deactivate my account with them. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to reach them, get a refund, take off my card info, and deactivate my account. How they are allowed to do all of this is beyond me. PLEASE stay away from MISFIT MARKETS. HUGE SCAM going on here.

It looks like we processed a credit for the full cost of this order when you reached out and we refunded the charges for 3 items that weren't in good shape for you. I've gone ahead and refunded the full charge of the order to your card as a one time courtesy and you'll see it there in a few days, just as soon as your bank processes it for you.I can also tell you that while we will usually respond to an email or a submitted contact us form within 24 hours that we're working on giving customers the option of reaching out live through chat or phones.       My account has been cancelled & I requested for my personal information, including my credit card information, to be removed from their database completely. They refuse to delete my information from their database. This puts me at risk for identity theft.I have never placed an order. There is no order history on the account. The account was cancelled within minutes of logging in. So there is no legal, accounting, operational, or service reason to retain my personal information or my credit card information. Also, according to their website (privacy policy) they intend to sell or share my information AGAINST MY WILL, including to affiliates, 3rd party vendors, online advertising and direct marketing partners, and to track me across the web.I believe its illegal to retain & use my information in this way against my will. The resolve I asked for is to have my personal information completely removed from their database. The account is already cancelled but I want all of my information removed from their database. Any reputable company would not require me to ask more than once. They have great financial/ marketing incentive to retain my info against my will, as noted in their website, to:*- market & advertise the Services, both online and offline (including via direct mail and TV) and provide announcements about Products and Services, promotions, and information about upcoming events;*- identify you on the Website or across the Internet so that we can advertise our Services to you & personalize our ads to you;make certain inferences regarding your preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitude;*- we may use and disclose it to others for any purpose, including, without limitation, to improve our Services and for research and marketing I do not consent to my information being used and I want all of my info completely DELETED from their database.

For security reasons customer care does not have the ability to delete personal information for customers. You need to do this through our **************. The new link after completing our merger with Imperfect Foods is **********************************************************************************. We use the same link for all 48 states in the continental ** that we deliver to though some language may seem to be specific to ********** since they have very specific regulations about personal info. Follow the instructions there and your info will be deleted as quickly as possible though it can take some time to finish.I also checked and your account with us was actually still open. I went ahead and canceled it for you so we won't send you groceries anymore.       Just because Misfits Market tells you that they are saving you a certain% off of grocery store prices, does not necessarily make it so! Research prices yourself. Don't be made a fool of!

      Hi ******,My name is **** and I'm part of the leadership team at Misfits Market. I totally understand how frustrating high grocery prices have become and sometimes our prices are higher than we'd like. I can tell you that with the combined buying power and supplier lists of our merger partner Imperfect Foods and Misfits we will be better able to purchase imperfect produce and overstocked items at a significant discount to "normal" produce and groceries and we're passing those savings on to all of our customers. Now that our merger with Imperfect is just about finished we're focusing on our pricing to get you the best possible prices on our items.Sometimes, particularly for in demand items that we may not be able to recue from a lesser outcome, our prices will be closer to but still usually competitive with those of regular grocers. We will still have trouble beating the prices of low cost grocers like Aldi or ******* due to their much greater purchasing power but we will be lower than they are at times on particular items.       Terrible service. Signed up for bi-weekly delivery(every other week)2nd box randomly shipped after first week. **************** said every other week not an option then was shocked when I provided screenshot of account setup.Still refused to offer any refund saying "system does not allow refunds"Do not use. Read additional reviews as they are not a good grocery provider.

I understand you have concerns regarding your order from August 15, and I'm happy to help.I see based on our contact history with you that one of our customer care team members responded to your email on August 16, though I totally agree our response could have been better for you.It looks like you had 2 primary concerns. The first was you thought an order wouldn't ship if it didn't hit your order minimum and you're right about that. Since we're a subscription service we start you with a box and you can add or remove items from that box when you shop for it. Whether you shop or not we will ship the order if it meets your order minimum. Your August 15 order was over $40 - well above your $15 order minimum so it was packed and shipped to you.You were also concerned that the August 15 order was delivered after you changed your orders to biweekly. I double checked and your orders were set to biweekly on August 16, the day after we packed and shipped your August 15 order so that change would not have stopped the August 15 order,I'm sorry that you had this kind of experience with Misfits Market, we very much thank you for giving us a try, and hope that you'll try us again soon now that you better understand how we work.       If I could leave zero stars I would. This company should be avoided at all cost. After you sign up you are supposed to be able to skip a week anytime however when you tell them to skip the week they completely ignore that request and still take the money out of your account. You can't call them. You can email but they don't answer until it's too late to cancel the order. They completely disregard anything you say in your emails and offer to discount your order for the 1 item you don't think you will use. Ridiculous. Please be aware and avoid signing up.

      Do not under any circumstances give this company your contact information. First off, they require you to enter payment info to even look at their website. Then, they'll keep that payment info on hand and start charging you unless you are super aware of how scammy they are and empty your grocery box immediately (they set up a box to be auto-charged as soon as you create your account). I didn't want them to have my credit card info, so I used Apple Pay just to create the account. Turns out, they get your credit card info anyway and keep it on file. I cancelled immediately, and unsubscribed from all emails. However, they just keep emailing me. So many emails. I've opted out, sent to spam. Finally, I reached out to customer service asking for all of my information and ENTIRE account to be deleted. Legally, they are required to do this when you ask. However, I have continued to get emails. Because they lied and said my contact information was deleted (clearly it hasn't been, since I keep getting emails), I assume they've kept my credit card information illegally as well. Just don't give these people any of your financial or contact info, you will never be able to escape them and their shady practices. At best, they are incompetent. At worst, they are intentionally scamming people for financial benefits and contact information.

      I was interested about the service and the website said sign up for free but did not mentioned about automatically enrolled to their weekly delivery problem. I realized a few days later that they send me the weekly delivery without my agreement and charge to my account. I try to contact them and did not get a response for days. I have problem to login my account and there is no contact number and live support. Please help.

      I had filled out the billing info but never submitted it pending an answer to a question about products. I never got the answer but Their system somehow processed the order anyway and sent me a bunch of produce I would NEVER order. I wish there was a way to give them a Negative star.
