      I was sent an order through my credit card I didnt place??? This is a scam. You cant contact anyone and I have had to cancel my credit card and order a new one. I stopped payment on order immediately. Beware!

      I was scammed! I was charged $49.18 from this Company and without my Approval. I have sent several emails and have not received even an auto-reply stating that they have received my email.They have a website where you choose to look at BUT ask for your credit card/debit card information before you can even view what they offer. Next I know, I see a charge on my bank statement for $49.18 and an order that I did not select nor approve!I hope they plan on crediting my card and ASAP. This is NOT the way you run a business, plus, to top it off, there is not a way to contact them through phone nor a phone representative to help you via Chat. I demand my CC be credited back or legal action will pursue. Order # ********. You have caused an overdraft on my account. Thanks a LOT!

The last button you have to push to create your account and start shopping that is right below where you enter your credit card info makes it clear you are purchasing a subscription service that will automatically populate and send you a box of groceries each week. I'm really glad that you were able to reach out to our customer care team when this happened and they were able to cancel your order and refund the charge for it. They were also able to cancel your account for you so we won't be sending you or charging you for groceries anymore. We tried to email you about that on October 18 but due to some issues with settings on your email account our emails were bounced. I'm sorry we weren't able to get the email to you.I'm very sorry that right now we don't have the ability for customers to call or chat with us but I can assure you it's something we're working very hard on and we will have those capabilities soon.       After being a weekly customer for nearly two years, Ive sadly stopped shopping with Misfits Market due to a steady increase in poor experiences over time. Its unclear whether theres been significant management turnover or a fundamental shift in fulfillment practices, but operations have degraded significantly since 2021. Ive repeatedly provided direct feedback to the company about these changes, yet the quality decline has persisted and intensified.1) Theres been a substantial, sustained increase in the amount of product arriving unusable. Its not the result of transit damage, but instead poor and negligent origin packing. They claim to prioritize preventing food waste, yet boxes now routinely include heavy and fragile products thrown haphazardly together without protection, leaking cooling packs, unwrapped broken glass, dented cans, and bruised/split/rotten produce. 2) Missing items and picking mix-*** have also increased. Either theyve transitioned to a far worse inventory platform or staff training has gone way downhill (or both). 3) The website and app have become increasingly buggy, with usability issues while shopping, redeeming rewards, and reporting order issues. A few of these glitches resulted in unprocessed refunds, erroneous double rewards redemptions, and other financial headaches that necessitated multiple follow *** to correct. 4) Support that used to be provided instantaneously via automated prompts is now handled via email. Reported issues can take days to resolve, and its a crapshoot whether the agent responding can competently resolve them after one contact. 5) Other than a small subset of produce and heavily discounted short-dated items, pricing for most inventory is now on par with, or in some cases MORE expensive, than at a local grocery/retail store or competing online source. The platform no longer offers a competitive consumer advantage (outside of perhaps serving food deserts with no other sourcing options).

      Hi There!I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with us. That's just not the way we want to take care of you! I came to Misfits about a year ago in the merger with our partner Imperfect Foods and I can't find your account with the info in this review so I will only be able to speak generally about the last year. I'm happy to look into your account in detail if you'd share the email address on your account. You can reach out directly to Misfits using the contact us form and please mention this is about a BBB review. One of the operations that came over to Misfits in the last year was the packing, shipping and delivery system at Imperfect. While there have been way more bumps in the combination of the systems from both companies into a shared platform in Imperfect's distribution network than any of us would like, our packing and delivery system is improving and becoming much more reliable again. It looks like we delivered in your zip code through our delivery partner ***** which can sometimes complicate getting everything to you in good shape, particularly during this crazy hot summer we just went through. I can tell you that we're working very hard to make sure we can get your groceries to you in good shape and we will get better.We also had inventory issues and packing issues as we combined our two companies and the computer systems that manage shopping, packing and shipping. We've completed just about all of that transition now and our inventory issues have largely gone away and we're able to more consistently pack the right items for all of our customers. The last part of the transition was moving the combined company into a brand new combined platform that manages customers' shopping and accounts and our back end for orders, packing and delivery. I can tell you that process came with way more bugs and technical issues than anyone expected to happen and I'm terribly sorry that happened. I can also tell you that most of these technical issues are fixed now and we have moved into taking feedback from our customers and our customer care team to make the website and app much more user friendly and reliable. Part of my job in customer care is to monitor and report issues with these systems and the number and severity of the issues has decreased to almost zero so we can completely focus on system improvements as we move forward. Another big component of the merger was to bring Imperfect's customer care team and philosophy to **********************. This week we completed the combination of both teams into one and you will see continued improvement in customer care as we move forward. To be completely transparent during the roll out of the combined platform for both companies we had excessively high customer contact volumes while we sorted out the technical issues which caused long delays in responding to our customers' concerns. We've worked through those backlogs and we're again meeting our promise to respond in 24 hours. We're also staffing and training to bring live channels like chats and phone calls to Misfits' customers which we didn't have before. Imperfect's live channel customer care has been very appreciated by it customers and we can't wait to bring that to Misfits too.Finally, pricing has been a pain point for all of us with the inflation we've had recently. We're now working on our pricing to pass more of the savings we get from buying imperfect produce and overstocked groceries on to our customers. We've also been working hard to be more efficient and to reduce costs per order for packing, shipping and customer care while maintaining high standards for taking care of our customers. As a combined company we will have more pricing power to get lower prices on our items than we had as just Misfits. Because part of our mission includes reducing food waste and waste in all of our operations in general we do face costs main line grocers just don't take on. We will usually be competitive with the main line grocers but it will be hard for us to consistently beat the low cost grocers like Aldi or ******* due to their much greater market power. We will always work to to give you great though imperfect groceries and interesting products at a fair price. I'm sorry this is so long but you raised a lot of issues and deserved an equally thoughtful response. I really hope you'll try us again down the road now that the merger is largely behind us.       I received an e mail today 9-13-23 stating I had an order that had been filled. I had looked at this site 2-3 weeks ago but it was nothing I was interested in so left the site and never thought another thing about it. I went to the site after receiving the notification and realized it's a weekly order they put me on with no authorization from me. I am not sure how they got my credit card info, I sure don't remember putting the info in this site. I feel like this is a scam from another site but not sure how it originated. I have had to cancel my credit card and get another to prevent future orders.

      Box was ordered without notifying me of my shopping window.Box receipt was filled with slop like Oat Milk and sugary muffins, NOT produce.I brought this to customer service, who ignored me and immediately closed my ticket without attempting to resolve, also lying about their Terms and Conditions page.BOX ARRIVED WITH LITERAL BROKEN GLASS, GINGER BEER SPILLED ALL OVER ALMOST EVERY ITEM FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LAZY, SCAM OF A COMPANY

That's just not the way we want to take care of you!I'm really glad that you were able to reach out to our customer care team on September 6 after you received your order confirmation but I'm sorry you didn't get a reminder that your shopping window was open. You'd been with us since July 20, 2023 and had skipped each of your orders since then, While your shopping window and the deadline to skip are the same each week I can understand how you might miss it without seeing a shopping reminder and I'm sorry that happened regardless of how it happened.I am glad you were able to reach out to our customer care team and that they were able to respond to you on September 8. While I'm very sorry that we're not able to exercise our discretion to refund charges for every order a customer isn't able to skip on time, I am glad you were able to obtain automated refunds for about half the items in your order on September 9. Since you didn't get these groceries until September 9 and you didn't reach out to us about the broken glass bottle in your ginger beer we weren't able to address that situation with you. I can tell you that we take broken glass claims very seriously and our leads team would have refunded the order and gotten more details from you so we could report it to our Safety team. I really wish you had given us a chance to make that right with you. I've gone ahead and refunded the full charge for this order to your card. As a heads up it can take **** days for your bank to process the refund back to your card.I'm very sorry to see you've canceled your account.       I was comparing prices between delivery services and somehow unintentionally ended up with an account. When I got a message that they were intending to send me a box on August 9th, I messaged them to tell them that there was some mistake, I had not ordered anything, I had just been looking. On *************************************************** the service. The delivery was canceled (someone obviously received my message), and I thought everything was resolved. Fast forward one week and a box arrives at my house, one which I clearly didnt want, and I was charged almost $60. I contacted Misfits Market to tell them that they had made a mistake, and I wanted them to refund my $60. I was told that they had not been told I didnt want the shipment (refer back to 07 August) and that I was not *********** a refund. I then went on to explain to them that even what they had sent was unusable, and thrown in the trash, because it arrived just as a huge storm had passed and we had suffered a 2+ day power outage (any reasonable person should/would have realized that this was not a time to deliver perishables, even to customers who actually wanted their products. After quite a while arguing with the customer service representative, I was given a $19 courtesy credit for the meats that were spoiled in the package.So, I never tried to order anything, I contacted them immediately when I realized that they were trying to send me something, I clearly stated that I did not want to participate in their service, and then a week later they sent a package anyway, and charged my credit card. Actually, now that I think about it, I need to call my bank and file a fraud claim but thats another issue this review is to protect others who might fall victim to this ****.Thank You,************************************ **

I understand that you thought you were just looking but before you clicked the Start Shopping button to open the account we made it clear right underneath the button that you were purchasing a subscription service that will charge you for and send you groceries each week. Because you didn't skip your first order set for August 7 we started packing the order for you to keep our promise to send groceries each week. Fortunately you reached out to us right away and our customer care team was able to cancel the order and refund the charge to your card so you shouldn't have any charges from us for the week of August 7.Just as important we explained in our email back to you on August 7 that we're a subscription service that promises to deliver you groceries each week unless you skip an order. We also educated you about our Flex Plan option where we only send you groceries when you actively shop for them. You didn't respond to this email or change to the Flex Plan after we sent this email.When you didn't skip your next order set for August 14 we again kept our promise to send you groceries each week. Because for some reason you still didn't expect this delivery the groceries were outside longer than either of us would have liked so we refunded the charges for the thawed meat in the order to you. We weren't able to refund the whole order under the circumstances since we explained again how we work and what options you had to manage your orders and your account and we can only refund unwanted orders as a one time courtesy. We need to work together to successfully manage your account.I'm really sorry that meeting you more than half way to try to help you hasn't been enough to resolve this to your satisfaction.       SCAM COMPANY. my husband checked them out years ago, never signed up. He logged in again yesterday to check it out one more time, and they immediately charged us over $100 and sent us a bunch of stuff we can't even use. No customer service number to call. I have filed a dispute with my bank, had to shut his card that was used down and I will be filing a police report if Im not reimbursed. We are a low income family and this took our bill money out of our account and we don't have any savings to cover it. HIGHLY upset!!!!!

You have to click the start shopping button to open your account. We tell you:"By clicking Start Shopping you are purchasing a continuous subscription and will be billed each week that your cart meets the $45 order minimum until you cancel. We will populate your weekly cart with the value of products described above in your weekly plan, and you'll be charged the price of the products in your cart at the close of your shopping window, plus tax, shipping and any applicable fees.       I went on this website thinking I could save a little money on groceries since my husband was laid off and my home was taken away from my family by a tornado, I went on this site to look around and NEVER once did I put in any of my credit card information and somehow this company seemed to ****** it up anyways!!!! I was recently charged for a box and delivery has been set up for September!!! Unbelievable how scammers get your personal detail information, if my family hasnt been through enough being homeless!!!! I would most definitely give this company a 0 star but its not available!!!! Not a happy person right now. Shame on people like this!!!!
