      *** denied All but one claim of mines. They even sent out a repair guy to charge me a service fee/ deductible for a repair that wasnt included in my contract. I hope the BBB can assist in getting any items that was mentioned per contract to be covered and/or reimbursed.

      My complaint is the same as everyone else. Horrible customer service, **** the resolution manager is totally useless. No phone calls or email returned. My microwave has been broken for 4 months. They first send over a tech who cant speak English who takes my money and doesnt show up to appointments. They sent over a another company who said the claim was declined because the person at HWA who took the claim entered incorrect info into the computer. The tech said he is cancelling his service with HWA because they dont pay the techs, or will only reimburse a portion of the techs expense. No wonder they cant get any techs to take their claims. They constantly s**** the tech company and the home owner. They finally told me a 3rd. company was going to come out on a specific date between 7am-11am. Nobody came out. I called the tech company and they told me that they haven't received authorization yet to work on HWA claims...so why in the h*** does HWA schedule a company that isn't even approved. I got up at 6am even though I was sick and the company said they never do calls at 7am.....Such an unorganized company with terrible customer service and a horrible reputation.

      This company is horrible. It took 2 weeks after I filed my claim to get a technician out to my house for my broken dishwasher that leaked water all over my wood floors causing severe water damage. The service techs finally came out today from a different state, I live in *******, **, they sent an *** from *******. After the *** diagnosing the problem and was instructed by *** not to fix it just to send the diagnosis in, my dishwasher is lying in the middle of my floor not fixed and looking like its not going to be fixed anytime soon. I had to pay the service tech $85 today for nothing when I could have put that towards a new dish washer. I would have rather saved my $55 a month and could have bought a new dishwasher by now, instead of give it to HWA for nothing. I will be contacting our local news problem solvers about this issue as well. These people should be shut down after all these terrible reviews and experiences people have had , how are they even allowed to take money from people. They should have a civil law suit filed against them.

      Its been nearly a month and HWA still havent sent anyone out to fix my hot water tank. They sent somebody on the 4 of November and that person refused to come back out due to their own fault. When they were suppose to come back, I took off when nobody showed up I called they said they had to order the part which nobody call and informed me this company was ******************* they got upset that I called them out and refuse to bring my order part. *** said I can find my own plumber but they have to approve well I guess Ill be waiting forever for hot water because theyre been paid for a year to do that themselves

      I have been without a working microwave since Aug 27, 2023 when I filed my claim. *** sent out a technician who determined the magnetron was bad. Was notified by HWA after checking status that I needed to contact ******** as the magnetron was still covered under warranty. I was told by *** that they would reimburse me the $250 labor fee charged by ******** I submitted paid invoice along with additional repairs needed to HWA on Oct 2, 2023. I am still waiting on reimbursement of funds. *** notified original tech to come back out and finish repairs. Made several replies to HWA on Oct 13, 17, and 26 to verify repair status. *** cancelled previous tech request and sent out for new tech. I received a service appointment with new tech for Oct 27, 2023. Service tech sent response back to HWA for additional parts required, and is waiting on approval. Requested update on Oct 31, 2023; *** said tech was notified and parts on order. I followed up with HWA today (Nov 13, 2023) to verify status. I was told by *** that additional information was needed from tech, and they (HWA) was sending another request to tech. So bottom line is, were are almost three months without a microwave, and no positive info on getting repaired. So as of today Nov 13, 2023; I am without a microwave, and without the additional labor costs I paid out of pocket.

      This company is a rip off and should be shut down, absolutely horrible company, with horrible customer service, we feel like we were ripped off by this company and would not recommend anyone doing business with them, and the levels of ineptitude and unprofessionalism are almost criminal. This company should be shut down and not be allowed to rip off hard working tax paying citizens.

      They should not even be in business and sued by everyone they steal money from! THEY ARE FRAUD AND SCAMMERS!! I have had a call open for 6 weeks and I call them daily and all they can do is tell me they are working on finding a technician in my area. I filed a claim in September, they raided my monthly rate in October and the monthly service fee from $75 to $100 and are expecting me to pay the service fee in effect IF/When they ever find anyone. One-person apologized and told me she would credit me for the 2 months I was charged. I have yet to see that credit and the next day another person told me they would not credit me for the services they have not provided. I have filed a claim with the State ************************ and the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND BE PREAPARED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION. unfortunately, I have no option to choose ZERO stars on the rating but I certainly do not give them even 1 star!

      I WOULD LEAVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I would not refer to this company on my worst enemy. I am not sure how they are still in business. The customer service is awful. My microwave broke. They sent a tech over to look at the problem. (I paid him 100 dollars.) He never came back, they sent over another tech, told me the same problem and that Home Warranty of America did not want to fix the problem. I work in the real estate world, and when I bought my home this was the home warranty on the property. They never respond to emails., they do not answer calls. They do everything in there power to not fix the problem. I have gotten the run around multiple times.

      So when we bought our house, the previous owners got us a year with hwa. They refuse to cover anything, making excuses and then if we did appeal they forgot to call ** on the designated date they gave, then they refused to listen to anything we had to say. This is our last month, and they have called at least 5xs a day every single day, they've texted multiple times a day, and they've sent emails constantly. This is a scam company. I'm the past we used a competitor of them, and every issue we had got resolved. If you don't want to do what your company is supposed to do then fine but you should expect my business, when you don't do anything then proceed to blow my phone up 24/7.

      If I can only give them negative rating! I have a plumbing issue, my house is flooding, i filed a claim, they assigned it to NEXT DOOR PLUMBING, and plumber is available 3 days later. I asked if I can get a plumber and they should the cost. The customer service was very rude, wont even transfer me to supervisor. We dont have water 24hrs now (since we turned it off due to leaking) and this home warranty is useless!!!What a waste of money! Dont ever get this home warranty. I guarantee you will only regret it!!!!
