      These people will deny even the most basic claim. Their customer service office closes at 6 pm. Their claim denial office is open 24/7. Don't waste your money.

      This company took my money and now because my frig is no longer under warranty they don't want to replace or fix it. I have small children on my home and need a refrig, They sent tech and he told them that it is no longer under warranty, now they don't want to replace as stated in they contract. I spent almost the contract amount for the PLATium warranty and still no frig after 4 days. I wish I could get a refund and buy my own frig as it looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do.       This is the most deceptive and unethical company I have ever worked with. The polices are not worth the paper they are written on. I am shocked this company is allowed to continue operating.

      This IS A CRIMINAL, IMMORAL business! Declining a claim because an AC unit is "dirty", despite a licensed company servicing the unit 2x annually & replacing filters monthly (i.e. we're not irresponsible and we didn't let the unit just sit and rot)...AND TWO vendors videoing leak bubbles. They claim that a "dirty" unit in the attic of a home is not "normal and ordinary" and outside the terms of their contract. Really? HWA, and its parent, Choice Warranty, should lose the ability to service clients.

      Absolutely the worst people you can imagine. Please if your considering using this company I hope these reviews show you they will never approve your claim. If they approve your claim they will inflate labor costs/materials to cover their liability.

      This company does not deserve a star at all. I wished I had the time to cancel this service months ago. They take your monthly payment but don't have companies available to fix your issues. My air conditioner went out and it was in the middle of the summer in **************, both my husband and I are older, husband has medical issues with heart and lungs, he was suffering with the house temp in the high 80 degree range. WE CALLED AND CALLED THEM TO GET SOMEONE TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT THE PROBLEM, DAYS LATER WHEN THEY DID SOURCE A COMPANY THE GUY CAME OUT AND LET US KNOW THE **** NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *** DECIDED TO ORDER PARTS FIRST AND THEN HAVE HIM TRY TO FIX IT. THEY SENT THE PARTS TO A PO BOX SINCE THE COMPANY DIDN'T HAVE A STORE FRONT. THE GUY NEVER RETURNED ANY CALLS AND JUST DISAPPREARED. WE THEN HAD TO START ALL OVER WITH THEM. THEY COULDNT FIND A COMPANY TO FIX THE **** AND OFFERED THAT WE COULD TRY AND FIND SOMEONE AND THEY WOULD REIMBURSE A SMALL PART OF THE **** BEING FIXED OR REPLACED. AFTER WEEKS TRYING TO WORK WITH THEM WE PAID A RELIABLE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE ****. THEN LETS MOVE ON THE THE WASHING MACHINE, THEY SENT OUT A REPRESENTATIVE (REMEMBER WE PAY THE DEDUCTIBLE EACH TIME WE HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT), HE STATED HE COULDNT FIX IT (IT WAS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD) AND TOLD US WE NEEDED A NEW ****. AGAIN, HWA OF AMERICA GAVE US A ***** GIFTCARD FOR `$340 DOLLARS TO REPLACE IT. ITS BEEN ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. YOU CAN SEE THAT THEY HAVE ONE START RATING AND I'M SURE THEY WOULD BE IN THE NEGATIVE IF IT ALLOWED THAT TYPE OF RATING. THEY OWE MY HUSBAND AND I AN APOLOGY AND SHOULD FEEL ASHAME OF WHAT THEY CHOSE TO DO TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, I HAVE HEARD FROM FRIENDS THAT THEY HAVE GREAT SERVICE WITH OTHER COMPANIES AND DONT GO THROUGH NEAR WHAT WE DID. TERRIBLE TO TREAT ANYONE THIS WAY MUCH LESS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS.

      The little pamphlet they send you for your policy is misleading. The customer services hoyable. And if you want to cancel your policy they charge you fifty dollars. I would never do business with this company ever again.Or do I recommend this company to anybody? Not even my worst enemy.

      We just bought a home a few months ago and decided to go with Home Warranty of America.m and it has been the absolute worse decision we have ever made. We have never had to deal with so much c*** from a company. Their resolution team is the absolute worse and havent resolved anything after we appealed our claim. They have made our life h*** and they claim to want to help but just blow smoke and pretend to want to help and in reality arent doing anything to rectify our problem and repair our refrigerator. I wouldnt even recommend this company to my worse enemy.

      This company doesn't even deserve 1 star!They are the absolute worst!I opened a claim for my AC the end of May.It took until July to be approved for an HVAC replacement.After unit was installed it was determined to have a defective condenser.HWA assured me they would replace the defective condenser but basically gave me the runaround for the next 2 months saying they were waiting on the technician to submit additional information.At 1 point they even claimed to have ordered the replacement for the defective part which was not the case.They had the technician return the part to the distributor only to have him pick it up again 2 weeks later saying it would be scrapped if he didn't do so.Finally the technician advised me to warranty the condenser myself and was able to obtain a King ***** to fix the defective condenser. This was in September! I lost 2 months of rental income and paid an additional $3000 in hotel fees for my tenant waiting for HWA to resolve the issue.I lost $7000 which could have purchased an HVAC out right!Their customer service employees are completely incompetent!I really don't know how they are still in business!This is the worst customer service experience I've ever been through!

      I had been a customer for 12 years. These last 3 years have been a nightmare. No techs want to work with them because they aren't paying the companies. It is impossible to get reimbursement after you find your own technician. Spent hours on the phone. It took me 2 months to hopefully stop my renewal. Cancelling was impossible. Then they wanted to give me 2 months free and an extra $250. I said you have ripped me off enough. On top of that my rates were going up! Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
