      I had a plumbing problem and no one could send some out to help me, as of right now its been over 7 days and they still cant find a plumber to come fix the problem, and no technicians are available.

      Filed for AC not working properly they found a technician and said they will b out within ***** hours. It's been 3 weeks and they just keep rescheduling. I called and asked what they are gonna do about it and it was basically a script I was reading for him that they will keep rescheduling and call for any problems and I'm like I do call with a problem and you won't do anything about it.

      Home Warranty of America is a Horrible horrible company. This is my 2nd claim and I cannot wait until this warranty expires next March. They make appointments for the repair technician to come to your home and the repair company does not even have you on their schedule. this has happened twice now. We sat home 2 days, 2 weeks apart and the repair tech did not show up on those days. I live in ******* and have not had AC for 3 weeks now. I called Home Warranty of America and they gave me a complaint phone number that belongs to another home warranty company. Called back and after talking to cs rep and being put on hold twice, they hung up. My first claim, a month ago, took 3 weeks to get the partial money to buy my new washer. I ended up paying ****** towards the cheapest washer Lowes had. I should have just purchased it myself.

      I am extremely frustrated with the level of service provided by Home Warranty of America (***) regarding the repair of my refrigerator. The repair process should never take over three weeks with no communication on the status of the repair. It is unacceptable to leave a customer without a refrigerator for such an extended period, especially when they have paid for a service that is meant to provide prompt repairs. To make matters worse, the customer service provided by *** was subpar, to say the least. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out, I was met with a lack of concern and empathy from *** representatives. The constant finger-pointing between ****** E & A, and *** only added to the frustration, leaving me with no resolution or explanation for the delay. I was forced to seek help from a local repair service, which ended up costing me over $800.00 on top of the *** service fees. This experience has left me incredibly dissatisfied with the level of service provided by *** and has made me question if I should continue to use their services in the future, particularly considering that I had purchased a service plan with *** to prevent such expenses and inconvenience. My last call to *** I was transferred to some so-called manager who just made me even more frustrated. He said they were waiting for parts from *** I had the authorization from ** before I filed the claim with ***, which I informed them when I called after filing the claim. This so-called manager also said there was nothing he could do for me, but give me two month free, Like that's supposed to make up for the terrible service I've been getting. Well, I've had enough. I'm cancelling my service plan with *** and I'll be sure to warn others about my negative experience with this company's complete lack of competence.

      The policies of this company are designed around not covering anything as stated in their policies. I've been a customer for years, and since the company merged with another company (Choice) the service is problematic. For the last two claims they used the same 'scripted' narrative to deny coverage. It went to the tune of 'damaged caused intentionally' even though it was logical (e.g., fridge wiring malfunctioning, toilet handle breaking). It was frustrating to deal with their customer service - scripted answers to get you to give up asking for service with the claim that it was intentional mishandling/damage and it is not covered under their policy. Also, the technicians they use do not seem skilled nor honest. I have been so frustrated with them - using this company is like flashing your money down the toilet. Not worth the frustration dealing with them. FYI - when I called them to cancel, the representative tried to bribe me to refund my expenses up to $200 but only if I remained a customer...

      We waited for over 2 weeks for our AC to get resolved in this ***** heat ( over 90 degrees in the house). Paid their version of 30% (more like 50% if I were to have bought it outright) for a replacement that was not the same as our Trane unit. Then our other AC went out for being overworked trying to compensate for the 1st unit being out. We were told it would take ***** hours to get someone starting from the 5th (for the 2nd unit) when we filed the claim. It is now the 9th and set up for the 10th. Thats not ***** hours! Again, ***** heat and terrible warranty company. They hold out as long as they can so you have to pay out of pocket!

      Just bought a new home 3 years old. Had a home inspection done. Everything was fine. AC stopped working, filed a claim. They sent out a tech of their choosing. Informed me that AC was installed incorrectly and they denied my claim. My appeal was also denied. My case manager email his information for my appeal. All emails and numbers were not active. When I finally got ahold of someone they just kept reading from a script. Denying but not listening. Horrible company, horrible customer service. I could go into all the details but as you can see from other reviews this is a company you should stay far away from.

      We have had HWA since we moved into our home at the end of 2015. Our first five years with them were fine, however, they have really declined since then. We had 2 plumbing issues that had to be resolved on our own since the only plumbing company they had in all of the ********* area was one that we have had a really bad experience with. We recently filed a claim for our AC not functioning properly. After over 24 hours, we get an email that they still can't find a technician but I can go out and find one of our own and submit for a possible reimbursement. Not guaranteed though. If I have to go find my own tech, I don't need them obviously. Every time I call, I get the same answer. They are still looking but I can find my own if I don't want to wait. I cancelled my coverage today.

      I have been HWA warranty customer for 2 years and previous service was good. This time my hot water heater went out and it has been 2 weeks and no resolution as of yet. The plumber was out and stated *** would not cover the whole costs so I was going to be responsible for the remainder. Well the costs that the plumber wanted was $ **** almost what a new hot water costs to replace it. I told them I was not going to pay it and that *** should be responsible for the whole thing. Well when I checked my warranty plan it stated they will only pay max out at $1000 so the remainder the customer has to pay which is outrageous. It has been 2 weeks and no resolution and they don't care if your hot water tank is leaking or will do further damage. There case managers don't care either or call you back. I had to finally replace my unit myself. I will never purchase a home warranty plan again without reading the fine print. The plumber company I believe was trying to recoup what the warranty company wouldn't pay them for.
